I am grateful that there is a woman who is giving the most precious gift of all to my brother- her baby. Thank you so much to all birth mothers.

(not a done deal yet, but if I focus on good thoughts, the baby will be home in NJ in a few weeks. of course, she still needs to be born first :D)

I'm grateful for this same thing. My cousins can't have children & 4.5 yrs ago they were able to adopt...This year they are anxiously waiting for the birth of another baby to be adopted into our family. She's due right after Christmas & I can't wait to meet her! (Like Chris I'm sending good thoughts that it all goes through for them!)

Also grateful for my other cousin's in Alaska who are expecting a little girl to be born anytime. I don't know when I'll get to meet her, but I'm grateful for my family & wish them a healthy birth!
 
Oh what a lovely feeling it is to pop in here this morning and read all this!!! I've gone all goosebumps!!!! :)

Today I am thankful for my wonderful DH who, while not a romantic!, he does so many things for me to demonstrate his love and caring!! I love this guy!!! :love:
 
Today I am grateful for my son, who always greets me with a smile and hug when I pick him up from school. Nothing beats that after a long day at work. :-)
 
Today I'm thankful for medical technology that allows treatment of the dreadful cancer. Mom finished radiation and chemo yesterday...no matter the outcome, thankful that there was something to try. And my cousin had a PET scan today...hopefully didn't show any additional cancer and she can begin her treatments next week.
 
And, how could I not be thankful for birth mothers?! God gave me both of my children through other birth mothers! So thankful each and every day!
 
Today I am thankful for friends and family who love, adore, spoil, and giggle at my child as much as I do! :-)

Ohhhhhh I got the tissue off my desk way before you guys were passing them around!!

*I'm thankful for my friend, Kat, who can lift up my SOUL in a heartbeat with her words!!

*I'm also thankful for the BEST IMAGINARY FRIENDS ever here at the O!!

*I'm thankful for 5 minutes to come and stop by the O and post how much I love my O family, and the pace at which these projects are getting done, giving me hope!! :)

love you all, dearly...now, it's back to work for me!!

Today I am thankful that both kids got out of bed w/o me having to run up and down the stairs a zillion times, involving yelling and whatnot.

I am also very thankful that Gary was able to unclog the sink last night.

And as always, I am thankful for coffee.

PS: I am also thankful for Spell Check, for w/o that- I would have spelled "Thankful" 3 different ways, none of them correctly.;)
 
Where would the world be without coffee I wonder??? LOL

Today, I'm grateful for the wonderful designers I CT for and their incredible talent, their amazing generosity and their unwavering understanding & support. Thank you for letting me play with your creations ... [all for free] ... I really appreciate you!!!

Elisa ((hugs)) I am keeping my fingers crossed for you r family as well that all goes smoothly with the adoption! Awww so glad you were able spend time with your Grandma :) That time is so priceless isn't it? What kind of pies did you all make?

So today I am thankful for:

1. Just being....just being able to be me.
2. For music to distract me
3. For silence to calm me
4. For my son's hand that fits so perfectly in mine when we walk.
5. That my son will still hold my hand and say I love you :)
6. For another day to make it the best that I can.
 
I am thankful I have such a wonderful and caring family and that my extended family are all close as well!!! :)

I am also thankful for the sun today (finally) and for the fact that I have a long weekend coming up!! (its Friday for me!) :)
 
A light one for me tonight.

I a thankful tomorrow is Friday. Such a long week. Thank goodness the weekend is almost here.
 
I am thankful today for enough energy to make here to actually be thankful.

I am thankful that I am able to keep my mind together enough work through tough situations and hopefully come out with solutions.

I am thankful for my brother and a surprise visit today (he never does that, and rarely talk to him any more)

I am very very thankful that I still have my parents here with me and that we will share thanksgiving dinner together this week.

I am thankful for wonderful children that jump in and help when it is really needed.

I am thankful for this place, OSCRAPS, to be able to come here and help me to remember to be thankful!!!!

I am thankful today for ten years with a man who puts up with my crap. :-)
And I am thankful that for the next several days, Starbucks is doing buy one get one free on their holiday coffees.
And I am thankful that my MIL watched my son tonight so that I could have a fabulous steak dinner and hear a fantastic jazz musician.
And I am thankful for good friends at school.
And I am thankful for good friends at the O!
 
I am thankful that my work computer is fixed so I don't have to borrow anyone elses, thankful it is friday, and that my man is feeling better
 
I'm thankful for the technology (aka Skype!) that allow me to communicate [with ease] with distant family and friends!!!
 
Tonight before I close my eyes for bed....I am thankful for:

1. A super nice lady who helped my son be able to attend an event at school that he normally wouldn't have been able to.

2. The laughter of Children :)

3. My husband who did a lot tonight for me without even having to be asked.

4. Family Movie Night :) My favorite!
 
Today I am thankful for getting to sleep in and wake up with the sun, instead of the pitch dark I usually get at 5 am.

I am thankful for picture mail.

And I an thankful that I was able to spend a nice hour with an old friend yesterday for coffee and a chat.
 
Mine today is actually something my DH is thankful for, but hey ... I didn't think you'd mind! My DH is thankful for the Inland Revenue letter he rec'd ... with a lovely tax rebate cheque attached ... woo-hoo!!!
