Great news- I just got off the phone with my bro and SIL!!! and it is all official- both birth mom and birth dad's right have been revoked. There is a 6 month period before all of the papers get officially stamped and filed- but this is it!! OMG- I am so happy!

I wish there were a smiley that did backflips!! I am so unbelievably happy for you and especially for your brother and his wife and that little boy who is officially theirs. Big hugs all around!!

After what happened the last time around, we were all on eggshells. There was a lot of happy dancing in my house last night.

I was crying so hard I could barely speak- yes, an oddity for me LOL

I'll have to find an post the picture of the onesie I got for him- Its dark grey and says "My Auntie Rocks" in a 'heavy metal-type" font. My brother is a classic rock guy and my SIL is country, so I am gonna be teaching that baby how to head bang :rockon:

Chris!!! I'm so happy for you!! I know what this is like in my family too! Congrats to your brother & his wife! Woot Aunty Chris!!!

We are 4 months in for my little cousin..2 more months until the adoption is final in August :D
