Anybody here knows a good website where I can find drawings for building a princescastle from wood.
My oldest will turn 6 in juni, and she wants a princes castle for the playmobil for her b-day. But it's to expensive. This one costs around $134.85 And it really is pretty small,

Backside, see it's pretty small.

So now we want to make it ourself. MDFwood is not that expensive, I'll paint it lightpurple (That's what she wants LOL ) with glitters.
For my parents and people that are coming she wants the bedroom, dressroom, diningroom and so on from princes playmobil LOL

But now I'm looking for a nice easy drawing for building a castle.
For dutch website I can't find a very usefull. So maybe people here know a website?

I know nothing about building things, but have you considered buying one off of eBay or used on Amazon? (I assume they have Dutch sellers too.) I have started to realize that my son is just as happy with a cool used toy as he is with a brand new out of the box one.

Every little girl's dream a purple castle with glitters!
I wish I could help - maybe a google search for castle blueprints?

Sara, that's what I was looking for at Marktplaats. Dutch site like ebay.

The people ask for this castle about $98.08
Than I'd rather buy a new one which is a littlebit more LOL

I figured a wooden dollhouse/castle will be for the playmobil now, but maybe it can be used for some other things as well.
Cousin from me used her dollhouse for the Little People from fisherprice, after that for Playmobil, now for Petshop toys LOL

J, thanks for the websites!!
What a fun site is the 'artisthelpingchilderen!'
I added it into my favorites.

I tried drawing a normal castle, and I think we will make it like that. I'll show a picture when (or should I say IF)it's finished!

So i wrote I would show a picture,
Here are a few LOL

I drew the castle. We went to the do-it-yourself-shop here, gave the guy a note with the sizes of wood we needed. DH took out windows and doors himself.

HUbby has to put every thing together. I will paint it one more time. We need to put the roof on, and the edge from the castle. (bwahahah no Idea how I should call that!)
And finish it with glitterpaint!

I think we finish it sooner than we thought. Her b-day is on june 13th LOL

LOL Diane, a collega gave it to me. Her girls didn't like it anymore. It was all in a map with seperate plastic maps. They collected it also LOL

I used it because it was easy to use. 1 little square was 5cm in my eyes. I didn't need measuring stuff :)

:D thanks ladies!!
Actually we wanted to paint the roof dark purple. But I used paint on waterbase. And the dark purple (small cans) are only terpentinebase. I can't use that on waterbase paint!
Damn.. So now I only need to paint the glitters on :)
