Earthquake!!

We just had a pretty long earthquake and about 15 seconds before I felt it, my husband got a strange alarm on his phone. We were literally asking each other what the heck it was before the bed started shaking. It was soooo creepy. I don’t know if I like having an alarm for earthquakes!

Yeah, I didn't either until today. I guess it would be good if we got them hours ahead of time for "the big one"

I experienced my first "big" earthquake in NJ a few months ago and lemme tell ya, it was a weird sensation! Glad you are OK!

I felt a small one several years ago. I was in the parsonage at the time and Tim was in the church study. We both came to the outside at the same time and asked each other ..... Did you feel that? It was very weird!

Scary!!! I am happy everyone is okay...wow!!! The last thing I need happening over here is an earthquake...now I am going to go search for earthquakes in Alabama....LOL I hope you guys didn't have any damage to your property!

So glad you are ok, albeit "shaken"! NJ had a 4.8 in April and it was quite a strange and very scary experience in an area unused to earthquakes. I heard the noise first too, then felt and saw the shake - disconcerting to say the least. part of which as you said is how long it lasted. I had no idea what it was until a second later a friend texted, "We had an earthquake!". All was well here also thankfully but for sure it was something to talk about.
