Do you have any tattoos?

It's National Tattoo Day, and a page I follow on Facebook was asking members to show photos of their tattoos. I don't have any tattoos but always thought I would like to get a small one. Since I'm in my 60's I suppose I should get going on that.

Anyone here have tattoos? Bonus points for photos!

I had no idea that there was a National Tattoo Day either. No tats for me but my son and daughter both have some great ones! I will have to see if I can find a photo of them.

My DS Scott is an outlier in my family- he is the only one *not* inked. I have 7 (I think, just counted yes, 7). Cait and I have matching Mickey Mouse tattoos, but that is her only one. Gary has more than I can count. And my DD's fiance has more than the rest of us put together, he is a tattoo artist and has a lot!

None for me but my hubby and I are talking about getting a small one. I want to get one to celebrate my oldest brother. RIP. My son in law is covered. It's not my thing to get covered, but he is a good guy, so whatever! This picture is from 2009, but he has more now. Across his back he has his name and on his arm he has praying hands and the names Billy Tony in memory of his father and brother who both died young. P1030068.jpg

Two of my 3 daughters have one tattoo each. My oldest got a lotus flower tattoo in Thailand to commemorate her 3-month adventure in Southeast Asia in 2020 and my middle DD has a tiny one on her ankle that matches one she got with a friend. I don't think I have photos of them, either. Several of my nieces and nephews are fairly heavily tattooed.

Now that you mention it, I seem to remember you talking about tattoos in the past. I had forgotten until now!

My ex-SIL has a tattoo of her deceased mother's name done in her mother's own handwriting. I think that's a lovely tribute, too.

I have one on my shoulder blade that I got back in the wild college days. I will have to try to find a photo. It's been a very long time since I've taken a photo of it - like 20 years lol

No tats I knew I’d regret it as I got older and they started looking old on old skin lol lol. I am a planner for the future

I have four. A dragon on the back of my neck, a small yin-yang on my middle finger, a tinker bell and a butterfly on my inner wrist. I wish I could get more but I haven't really had the chance.
Here's a pic of the butterfly. It's about 25 years old so meh quality lol..

There is seriously a day for soooooo many things in the world...it is insane...LOL One of my coworkers with my remote job is constantly posting what special day it is for the most random things!

I have always wanted a tattoo, I just cannot decide on what I want...I have some wild ideas, and then tame ideas...it is such a huge commitment, I know I have to choose carefully! LOL

I like that one!
Thanks, Angie. It's on the underneath side and people rarely even notice it. My plan is to get "Create" put on my left wrist. I also want my kids birthdays on the back of my neck.
I never thought I'd ever get a tattoo, but my mom and sister wanted to get something in memoriam of my dad who passed in 2019, so we got matching tattoos, with my aunt (my dad's little sister).

The purple is for Pancreatic Cancer.

The inner wrist seems like a good place for a tattoo, I think. Regarding quality...I am AMAZED at how gorgeous some tattoos are these days with advances in vivid colors and patterns!

I know, right? That's probably what kept me back all these years...I'm just too indecisive and afraid of making a bad choice. I have a former coworker who had a friend place a tattoo of a smiling Jesus on the top of her forearm. It's not very well done and that thing is going to be right out there forever.
