Devastated by a TV show

Background: I have a thing about “series” whether books or movies or tv or whatever. I have to have the whole story.

So I was watching all of the hallmark Christmas movies while down and out with my back. Well, I discovered that one of the last ones for me to watch was part of a series that was on Netflix. I have been binging it for 5 seasons worth of episodes to bring me current to the movie. Well, something bad happened and I thought oh, it’s not real because I’ve seen the preview for the movie ... well now watching the movie and realize it did happen and now I'm just weeping.



Gotta say, I'm glad I'm now current on the stupid show because I don't think I'll continue watching now. Ugh, this was my feel good, happy all the time show to watch.....

I've done that as well binged on a show or two to find out I'm hooked and they cancelled it. I hate that.

Oh that drives me bonkers too! I can't remember what show it was now, but it had a crazy season finale cliffhanger and then was cancelled. I thought I'd lose my mind lol

I am not sure if this counts, but I was watching a movie with the fam a few years ago- Will Smith/apocalypse/can't think of the name ATM.
There is one scene halfway through that make me so hysterical to the point where I had to leave and go watch a silly movie downstairs. I can still see the scene in my head and it makes me sad.

Oh no, Vicki. What was the movie? I'm a Hallmark junkie so curious minds want to know. I watched a movie this morning and really got into it and at the end i just cried. It touched close to home!

Danesa....I think the show Vicki's watching was When Calls The Heart. I haven't seen it yet but it was on my radar to maybe watch.

I've been devastated a few times with The Walking Dead when major characters get killed off, the same with Fear The Walking Dead....a major character was killed off this year and I couldn't believe it, I was stunned.

As for final shows....I was so sad to see 12 Monkeys (sci-fi show) finish last fall. It seemed like I had been watching that show forever and was so invested in the characters and story.

As for what is upcoming....I know I am not going to be happy when Criminal Minds ends this year. After 14 seasons, they are getting one final short season this year to end the show. I have seen every single episode and am really going to miss this one.

Oh I used to love watching Criminal Minds years ago! Must catch up! I remember when Aaron's wife died and I was devastated! it was so very sad!

Rae- TWD/FTWD- so many people killed off... Abraham/Glenn was the *worst* because I wasn't expecting it to be two.

You're right, that's the show.



And, this was on the level of Glenn for me. I wasn't that torn up about Madison or Nick. Well, Nick more than Madison, really. Honestly, I think Glenn kinda ended it for me for those shows. Still watch, but not quite as invested. Although, Jesus.... will miss him.
