lol you all wrote yesterday so much that I need today to start this thread and answer all, two times oscraps open

hope everybody had a good night

@clara: why do american only work instead of living. and I thought we german are doing that the whole day, only stress everywhere, go there, go there and have never time.
yeah the only good thing with this weekend trip is, that Amelie wont stay the whole time with me, I can give her to her uncle, aunt, grandma. And thats really great, so maybe my first freetime, since Amelies birth. Yeah!
Since I scrap I know so many Americans, that are Army wives, lol really strange,
american health system is so stupid, I always get angry when I read that, in this way european systems are much better, everyone will get medicine, not only if you pay for it, thats so crazy, sry for this sentence

@Tali: thanks for the recipe looks good, will take a closer look after finishing my post

Amelie is in bed now, getting her miday nap, hope everybody understands this, not sure if I wrote the sentence right, lol
This morning was a stressy one, like every first of the month, in all forum to put in the store the challenge kits, start all challenges, and load up so many things for my cts, why do they always bring their kits to the store at 1. of the month, crazy isnt it, but Im finished, I hope so. Hmm nearly 12 am, have to cook something for Michael then.

So see you later, hugs Cornelia

Good morning Cornelia!! Its nearly my bedtime here in Aussie land but I thought i would drop in and say HELLO to everyone and hope you have a terrific Wednesday. I took a day off today and went with DH on a drive to pick up tyres and other tractor stuff. We had to travel up to Queensland, 4 and half hour trip up there and then like 6 hrs coming home cause we had stop and pick some things up. Finally got home around an hour ago and I am just sooooo tired so heading off to bed............but couldn't do that until I caught up with what everyone had been doing!!! LOL! sooooo much to catch up on so I will leave that until tomorrow morning (your evening).......... Chris, a good way of working out the time thingy! say its 6.00am Wed for you, count ahead two hours and turn to the opposite to morning......like it would be 8.00pm Wed for me! :) so in the morning (thurs) when I am at work, 8.00am (I gotta count backwards) its 6.00pm Wed night your you!! totally confused you??? hahahaha!!! sorry sweetie!!! ok, gotta go, will catch up with you all later...Ona xox

Good morning ladies!!! I am spinning through quickly...my little Cameran spent the night, and I have to get him up and get him ready for K-camp...and off to DD's house to paint again (Cornelia...I am just house painting...wish I had talent to paint otherwise...I do paint kiddie stuff on the walls for everyone..like animals and characters). I am hoping to finish today.

One question...can anyone tell me why it costs $98 to fix the plug on a vaccum cleaner? Sears called and told me it was ready to pick up...and that was my bill!! AAAGGGHHH!! I am tempted to tell them to keep it!!

Have a great day My Friends...I am sure I will pop back in this afternoon to leave you some love!!

Good morning O-Fam!!!

I just love you all, just had to say that.
yesterday was another interesting day for me (when is it not hahhah!)
Took the kids to their dentist appt. First time is years. No dental insuirance and no income can be a bd thing. Both kids had 2 small cavities, which they got filled right then and there. They also got sealants, which I couldn't have afforded otherwise. Thank goodness for the Medicaid/NJ Family Care program.
I have an appt for myself next Monday and I am hoping it goes smoothly too!

By the time I got home, Cait and I had lunch and decided to head to the lake. It was a beautiful day! We go to the lake at 1. By 1:20, the clouds rolled in and the thunder started. Everyone comes out of the water and we have to wait 30 minutes before they are allowed to go back in. We keep hearing thunder, but Caitlyn wanted to stay and play inthe sand. No prob, she was having fun, so what if we were getting a bit drizzled on. ;)
The kids were able to go back in the water in at 2:45, and within minutes, they saw lightning. We packed up super quick and made it to the car, just before the rain let loose. It was storming so bad, that neither Cait or I could get in the showers, and I felt so sandy! ugh! LOL
Needless to say, my idea of grilling dinner last night was a bust too.

Today I am off to the orthodontist to get more impressions made (gag!!) and new trays for my braces. (bah humbug). And then off to clean.
My mom is coming up while I am out to cook a meal or two for us. Yay mom!

WWW (Wishes and wants Wednesday)

I wish that I didn't have to go back to the ortho and get more braces :( I am D.O.N.E. done!
I want the weather to get better (rainy again)
I want my O-Fam to have a great day!

I'll be back for personals in a bit

ok I am back- had to get some more coffee ;)
Anyone need a refill?

Sandra- I haven't made it all the way through yesterday's Ooo's-- have you heard anything about the job?
How are you and Gabe feeling?

Cornelia- Oh I wish I lived closer to the shore. We go to a local man-made lake/beach/park that is part of our town. Its really nice to be able to get there, let the kids swim and play, and the moms can sit and gossip haahha!
Have a great time in Austria! Caitlyn (my DD) got her ears pierced when she was 9 months and I am so glad I had it done then. Amelie is going to look so cute!

LindaW- did the painting go ok? Hope so! TY for wanting me to feel good, I appreciate that! We DVR just about everything -- and it is fab not having to sit through stupid commercials, isn't it??

LindaP- New store?? What did I miss? Congrats! How cool!! I never made it for my blood draw... they close at 11:30 for lunch so I am going to try again for next week when I am down that way. I have to get TSH and T4 retested. I hoep it works out ok, I just wish I could get my body under control LOL

Tali- hope the head is better today. I wish I could help with it! You use Chrome, right? Maybe I'll have to give that a shot if FF keeps being weird.

Sara- aaaaah I see why everyone likes doubleshots! I don't like Starbucks myself, but any type of caffiene is better than none :)

Yay Andrea- Army Official PG! How are you and Dh holding up? It is going to be hard for you both with him being deployed. (((((((hugs)))))))

Sally- wow!! I am sooooo impressed! You sing like a Goddess already- cannot wait to hear you (someday I will, in person, I swear) after these voice lessons. I'll keep my eye onthe mail sweetie!

Oh no Clara- how is Ethan today? Hope is feeling all better. How did the allergy testing go? When will you have results and be able to start the shots?

Cornelia- congrats on the 100posts!! woo hoo!!

Dawn, Oh wow sweetie-- I hope that everything goes ok with your car :( I wish that they could be a bit understanding.... Its like, is the $137 going to make or break *them* or *you?? Seriously-- cut some slack!! hahahaha about you and Davy!!!! I love your stories about him.

Tali- mmm, that recipe sounds good!!! I love rosemary!

And now that I am totally behind schedule.... LOL

LindaW- love the flair!!! hahah!
And that is crazy- you can get a decent vacuum (upright) for that if you check the sales- like at Kohls....
Hope it works out. My vac is a canister and it has already had some issues..... I hope it can hold on a little (ok, a LOT) longer....

@hondachicc: oh lol I thought you are drawing, but its a little bit the same, its also painting, can you do that for Amelies walls, lol, I have never tried before, maybe a little jungle would be great lolLOL
$100 for such a little thing amazing, you can buy a new one
woah I need the rain button pls, still so hot here, send it to me

@chris: lol I didnt understand many things from your dentist talking, but im too lazy to look all up in the dictionary, hope it doesnt matter
hmm coffee, no thanks, tea would be great
such parks are great, but we dont have any here, and I dont have here any of my friends, im little bit alone here, all my friends are in austria, and I dont really know anybody here in this town, so Amelie and I do all at our own, thats a little bit boring and depressing, but thats life:(
only 2 days until Amelies earrings, cant wait anymore, hopefully she wont cry too much, it hurts, I know that, did my 3rd earring with 14 lol:rolleyes:

Amelie is again angry and crying, every day at the same time, starts at 2pm for 2 hours then everything is normal and again in the evening for some hours,
hmm yes I have a strange little babygirl lol

Morning glories! How's my favoritest friends in the O-zone? Not much different here, I'm sick at my tummy with worry....and the fact that I haven't had my meds lately so I'm having withdrawals from my Effexor and bp med, having the yucky flu-like symptoms this morning and boohoo'ing over everything. I know, I know, you'd think I'd know better but people who work in healthcare are usually the worst to take care of themselves LOL. I just can't afford my meds until the car thing is straightened out. DH and I keep $$ separate and I will not ask him for help, BTDT with him and had the divorce and all that LOL. I almost caved and asked my grandparents but just couldn't do it. Ok, that's enough whining LOL.

I am running late....what else is new, LOL?! I will be back for personals this evening if I make it home before dark LOL...35 miles is a long walk LMBO.

(((((hugs))))) love you all!

good morning! I'm sitting here trying to get some design stuff done this morning and then I need to run out and do some errands...

I was NOT a happy mama when Matthew got home yesterday from daycare... apparently he and another little boy were fighting over a toy and the little boy bit Matthew... now I'm not talking a little bite either... he had the whole mouthprint of the little boy on the middle of his back... it was bad enough that it bled, had to be cleaned, and have a bandaid and ice pack applied... this is the 2nd time he's been bitten... the first time was on the face his first day! I've got a call into the director and she's supposed to call me back... I also called the pediatrician's office to see if there's anything I should be concerned about!

It's sooo nice here today... I've got my windows open and its still cool... I've got a lot to do today with packing and such... so it's gonna be hectic...

Chris - I have not heard anything yet... I'm hoping today... if not I may have to do retail which would NOT be good for my back... keep those fingers crossed!

Hope everyone has a great day!

WWW:
I wish biters would stop picking on Matthew...
I wish I had a money tree out back so I didn't have to stress about a job...
I want to get my old job back LOL!

always chatty at the O!!
Good morning!! It is way early for me...but alas I am awake. Ick!! I am not sure how today is going to go. Ethan was still feverish last night but I can't miss another day of work. I'm not sure how I am going to work this out. I may just take him to work with me. There are no doctors downstairs where I work today so it would be a good day for it. the only problem is that once Ethan has some tylenol he is like the energizer bunny and won't stay put. Not sure what to do. I'll probably wake him up in a bit and see how he's feeling. he crawled into bed with us last night and was a bit listless. Poor kid. I took him to see the nurse practitioner and like I expected he just has a virus. Now we are on day 4 so I'm not sure what to do here. Not to mention his daycare is paid for this week, and he's not there. he missed the Children's Mueum field trip...but he's been before so it wasn't a huge deal.

So...allergy testing. Not fun, but at least now I know what I am allergic too. I didn't realize what all they did. I knew there was a scratch test. I was allergic to 10 things. Then for the 50 things I didn't react to...they gave me little shots (like TB testing where they inject you with stuff and make a little bubble where they inject it) to see what else I was allergic to but not as sensitive to. 50 little shots in my arm. I was the obnoxious patient that said Ow!! everytime. It was kinda funny...or at least I thought it was. As long as I'm entertained I'm good. So all together I was allergic to 20 things. Half of those were different grasses, then olive trees, cats, dogs, horses, cows, mold, scothbroom (surprise!!), dust mites and a couple more weeds that I don't really know what they are. So in about 2 weeks they will call me to let me know that my shots are ready and I'll start shots for the next 3 years. 2 a week, then 1 a week for 40 weeks, then 1 every 2 weeks until I stop showing so many allergy symptoms for a year. It sucks, but if it makes me feel better I am okay with it. I am so tired of allergy headaches, and not sleeping well because I can't breathe.

So, I have decided that I must have a garage sale. I have so much crap that we don't use or need. I need it to start going away. I just have way too much crap. So, that is what I have decided to do to get rid of stuff. Everything left will go to the Goodwill. I will try and put ads on Craigslist for the big things like RC planes. I am so sick of those taking up space in my garage when Derek hasn't even looked at them since Ethan was born and yet we keep hauling them around every time we have moved. Ugh!!

Well, I'd better get. I need to do some straightening before I wake up Ethan since I think we will have the neighbor over here cleaning today. Who knows though. She's not consistant on the days she comes. It is kinda good though because then I have to straighten up more frequently so the house doesn't get trashed nearly as often.

Here are some personals cuz I love you all so much!!! :)

Cornelia - I hope you get some free time on your trip with your relatives. maybe they'll watch Amelie and you can go see a movie or something. Wouldn't that be nice?? It is amazing all the people you meet online isn't it? I know I never would have thoughht I'd meet so many different people with so many different stories. I haven't met nearly as many military wives as I would have expected. Just a couple. American healthcare is difficult. It is great of you have great coverage, but if you don't it is not so great. There are definately positives and negatives of socialized medicine compared to private medicine. Don't worry you don't have a strange baby. Most babies seem to have a "cry time." I know both of my kids did. The times were different for both of them. then when the teething starts everything gets thrown off. The only thing consistant with babies is that they are always changing as they grow. Good luck with the ear piercing. I think younger is better. Addie was 2 and she didn't cry but she was definately angry.

Ona - Wow!! What a trip. That was very nice of you to go with your hubby. I'm not sure if I would have. You know...I am usually pretty good about time change except with going backward in time and then a day ahead. In Italy I was 9 hours ahead of my family and 6 hours ahead of my dh's family. I had it figured out by the time we left, although I would still screw it up and call my parents to say hi at 4AM or some other crazy hour. I hope you got some good sleep after that trip.

LindaW - Almost $100 for a stinking cord? I hope you have an awesome vaccuum, like a Kirby or something. Although I still have yet to understand why people spend over $1000 for a vaccuum. A friend of mine tells me how great hers is but for that amount of money it better vaccuum for me.

Chris - I am so excited that you have some awesome dental coverage. After all of your trouble with your medical insurance a girl needs a break. I wish you would get a break that would get your family healthy, but at least you will have pretty teeth. Sounds like the lake was fun. Sorry about the rain though. I hope your weather gets it together soon.

Dawn - Doesn't your clinic have some samples you could...uh...sample?? I know most of the girls at my clinic get their meds from the sample cupboard, especially if they are expired. I wish I could send you some of mine. I haven't taken mine in a few days either. I forget over the weekend. I hope you get everything worked out with your car. That really stinks getting a bill for more than you expected. Very uncool.

Sandra - So, I have the opposite problem with biting. Addie is a little biter. I always bite her back but they can't do that at the daycare, obviously. I guess she always bites boys that make her mad...and she will wait until a little bit later to bite them. They will be doing their thing and walk by her, then Addie will remember she's mad at them and run up and bite them. She is such a girl...holding grudges like that. I hope she gets over it soon. We'll see. I hope you guys come up with a better answer so that Matthew quits getting bit.

Oh...I almost forgot. I have decided that Addie is going to be potty trained. She's not because she is stubborn so Sunday when she woke up I told her she doesn't get to wear diapers anymore during the day. She threw a little fit but hasn't worn diapers during the day since then. She's only had about one accident a day and the daycare is really working with her too. I love that she is in such a great daycare. When Ethan was potty training they didn't help much at first and changed him into clothes after one accident. I threw a little fit and then it worked out just fine. Well, my alarm is going off so I'd better get. I'll chat again soon I am sure.

@Sandra: oh outsch, why do they bite him, does it hurt, how old is he, sry for so many questions, have you been talking to his mom, maybe this will help

@clara: poor ethan hope it will be getting better soon. you payweekly for the daycare? is it the same like kindergarden?
you are really poor Im only allergic against cats, thats all, but my brother has all those grasses that exists, its horrible in summer. I know how you feel, hope these shots will help you.

lol clara I think it would be also better for me to have such a neighbour, I would clean more often:???:

oh yes watching a movie would be very great, havent seen one since Amelies birth, oh thats so long ago

wish you a nice day.

@all: Today it was Amelies first time at the playground playing in the sand, at the beginning she was a little bit scared, but then loved it in there. I made so many pics lol, 110 shots, and then I couldnt choose a few, I loved them all, but now are some at my blog, if somebody likes to take a look at Amelie in her new pink dress, she is so cute in this dress, love her.
If I show you to many photos pls tell, me then I will stop talking about it.

Morning, girlies!!!

I'm lounging around today!! I know...ifficult for you guys to imagine me laying around, but I did all my work on Monday and Tuesday. I will have to go pick Q up from the gym around noon, do my mailings, AND get some lunch. Today is the infamous country Club day (everyone comes over and swims together in our pool...sooo fun!) and one of our friends' is bringing hot dogs and stuff...i'm excited!! I love getting together like this on a weekly basis. Just makes me feel more in touch with my bffs!!

Speaking of my bffs, one of them is having her 5th child (you see her other kids in a lot of my LOs) and I'm throwing her a shower in a couple weeks. So I made the invite last night!! Her baby is a boy and will be sharing a room with her oldest. It'll have frogs and antique planes for decorations, so i used Kristin Aagard's PondPlay kit to do the invite. I'm seriously proud of this invite!! :) You have to check it out here:
https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=102813&cat=500&ppuser=304
Understand that the spaces where you'd find my address and rsvp stuff, i changed it for my own protection!! LOL!!! That's why the design looks a little sparce, but otherwise I LOVE it!! I can't wait to show her today when she comes over!! :)

So...I just updated my posting challenge for July, but i have since realized that I will be in Alaska from the 17th-the 25th without a computer!! So I'm sure I won't reach that goal. But remember, I like to reach high!! :) That way I'll reach a higher goal than I expected! :)

I guess I better start now! :) :) :)

Cornelia - my son is 6 almost 7 and is in a day camp at his Taekwondo center. It is weekly for the summer. He'll be going into 2nd grade this year. The ages for the camp range from 4-5 to about 12-13. They do a Taekwondo class every day and go on lots of little field trips and one big field trip each week. He is generally in their after school program during the school year also. He really enjoys it, and I like that he is in such a great place when I can't be home with him myself. Oh, and don't be too jealous of my cleaning neighbor...it definately isn't free. But when you have someone clean your house you have to clean it before they get there so that they can actually have time to clean it and not spend the time picking up after you. So, for instance...if I don't do all the dishes then she'll spend time doing them and maybe not have time to clean the bathrooms or something that I really want done, ya know??

Ok...first I will just tell you that I am just about done painting that "sweet" baby's room! I have to go back tomorrow and do some touch up...then the decorating starts..YAY!! my fav part!! Now...for those inquiring about my vaccum cleaner...well...it's a Sears Kenmore. I have had it for about 7 years and works great! My mom had hip replacement 7 years ago, and I was going over to take care of her everyday. At the time, my previous vaccum, a kenmore, of 12 years had finally given out. I had not too long quit working, and I didn't have the money to get another one, so my dear mother felt like she wanted to do something so badly for me...so she bought me another one...they work wonderfully....and priced around $475 now...well..now wasn't that just interesting...LOL!!!!!!!

Ok...I have 3 pages open...I am going to leave some MAJOR love here...I hope I don't leave anyone out!!

Sandra....My fingers are still crossed for ya!! and I know where you are coming from on the biting....my youngest DD seemed to attract them when she was in daycare....was a constant battle!! makes you furious!! and I checked out your designs...Totally Awesome!! after our little vaca...I will have to come over and buy some stuff!!

LindaP...Microbrew...we are a small town here...I have never heard of that!! sounds fun...and I am loving the sound of that blueberry beer!! and sweetie...helping out is my middle name....if you were close to me..I would come right over and help with your painting!!

Tali...I am really sorry for your migraines...do you take preventative meds? My DD takes daily meds and doesn't have near the problem she used to...she isn't on them right now...being pregnant...so far only a couple of dull headaches...but they will rush right back as soon as the baby is born...they did the same after Cameran was born...The cake and chicken sounds YUMMMMMY!! TFS!!

Andrea...so glad you are all ARMY legal with your pregnancy!! You know this explains the "bacon and brownie" thing the other day!! LOL!! and if you haven't figured it out yet...it's HOUSE painting...DD's new baby room...LOL..yesterday it was infested with dead ladybugs...they had a bad bout a few weeks ago with ladybugs...so they sprayed and they are all dead...they cleaned out the room, but forgot to vaccum...I wrote in paint on the wall "VACCUM THE LADYBUGS EEEEWWW"...they got a laugh about it!

Sally....whew...I really have a hard time keeping up with you!! You are just the busiest happiest person I know!!! I could really take life lessons from you!! The voice lessons sound like you must be a real singer!! I saw your babyshower invite...CUTE...I gotta go leave you some love on that!! and Love your MID LIFE EXCITEMENT!!!!

Clara...I hope Ethan is on the mend!! poor fella...((HUGS)) for him!! DH has been a driver for UPS for 31 years...employed for 34...only job he has every had...went there straight out of HS...and yep it's very hard on the body...he really is nearing the end of it...he is really worn out from it...52 yo..I don't think he's going until SS age...10 more years would kill both of us!! He can retire now if he wants...you can go at any age at 25 years...but it would definately be a financial strain...Sweetie...good luck with the potty training..DD is training Jesse (2.5 yo and it's def time!!) I found my girls to be very easy to train..versus these grandsons...Oh I remember the Allergy Testing...It didn't bother me a bit...until the reactions to what I was allergic to...I itched and swelled so bad!! I did the food allergy testing too...(starved to death for 3 weeks...lost 10 pounds) found out I was allergic to eggs....your treatment sound very similar to what I did...It will be so worth it though!!

Dawn...(((HUGS))) I wish I could run over and help ya out with the car and meds and everything!! Geezzzz....Better get the meds straight...you know what that can do if you are off them too long!!! your little Davy...he keeps you jumping as much as these kids do me!! YOU GET YOURSELF FEELING BETTER!!

Cornelia...You are such a sweetie...and Your daughter sounds precious!! you know if she is having crying spells at the same time everyday and for the same length of time, she is probably experiencing some collic...I am sort of old school...Unfortunately, nothing you can do about that...it wears off eventually....but even babies 6 mos old can get it!! Sounds like her first playground trip was FABULOUS!! I will be going to check your designs out too!! sounds as though you had a busy morning!!

Ona...long trip....sounds very tiring!! When we go to the beach, about 6 hours...I am dying when I get out the car!! But glad you got the day off to go with DH. You kill me with trying to clarify the time diff! I am good with that it's the same day in the morning, but it's your night time!! LOL...I just have a hard time thinking it's WINTER there right now!!! ((Hugs)):p

Chris...Glad the kids had a good time at the beach (wish we lived close to the beach)...but the rain...YUCK! Yay for your Mom cooking for you guys!! I would get along with her so famously!! You are lucky to get dental with your Medicaid in NJ...DD, Traci, is on Medicaid...the kids get dental, but NO ONE here takes adult Medicaid patients in Dental...it sucks...I feel like all that money spent when she was young to keep her teeth in good shape, and braces, is going down the drain, plus the risk of gum desease...I told her she was going, I was paying for it...I think my dentist would let me do it in payments...she went a few months ago to the community college hygentist program for free cleaning. she had to go 7 times for 4 hours each time....it was aweful!!

I better go...

If I missed anyone...Here are some (((HUGS)))) and love!!

wow so much to read, and this in I think 2 hours or less, ladies chit chating the whole day ;)

@cellomom: oh this invitation is so great, I didnt had such a thing for Amelie, not typical here in germany, I only see such things on TV in american movies :D I left you some love in the gallery

@clara: oh cool, my whole life (hmm yes sounds funny I know, only 21, but it was my whole life, okay back to topic) ... my whole life I wanted to make Teak-Wondo, my mom never allowed it, I was really sad because of this, love such activities and its great for little ones, the get known so many new people and things.
i would be glad to have enough money for a cleaning woman, but hmm I dont have it, and maybe never will have it; I have to do it on my own, Amelie needs to get older so that she can do it lol, was a joke, I hated it when I was a child
why will sweet genevieve quit?
