(ick- just took a sip of coffee,, ice cold by now. Will need another cup soon :)

I just checked the weather- it has been so cold I didn't realize it is going to go up to 80* today (and shhh...but guess who hasn't shaved her legs in a while. Gah!)
I am cleaning for my client this morning, and hope to finish some more yard work today. I moved a bunch of lilies and mulched two of the gardens yesterday. So shorts seem like they will be in order... but what to do about my legs!?


Thx for the TV show suggestions. I swear we are all going to die until fall for Fringe. That is one of my fav shows ever!
We recenty started on Lie to Me, so we are going to tape the repeats.
I am glad that Raising the Bar is coming back- and June 9 is the Closer (love Brenda Lee!)

If you ladies haven't read the article on Lyme that Dawn posted on Monday, please do, if you have the time. And some of the comments too- so many stories similar to mine. :(
It is so very important to the Lyme community that people understand how devastating it is and how unknown it is. Drs just don't know what to do with us! I get that sound/light/touch sensitivity at times. I cannot imagine how awful that poor woman's must have been. Mine is not as bad as that and it comes and goes. But I can totally understand wanting to escape it all. If it were not for our kids, Gary and I have both had suicide cross our minds at times :(
It is a horrible and frustrating disease, and the hoops that we must run through to get dignoses and *treated* is horrendous. And to be sick at the same time... ugh.

Clara- I am LOL-ing at your Korean store story! And wonderful news about YMG. Same as with Lyme, it seems crazy that the meds you need to take will help, but only when you remember to take them,. But if you could remember to take them, you wouldn't need them!:D

I love hulu- right before thispart of the season of Fringe started, we re-watched the first ones on hulu. I am sure we'll do the same in August and re-watch all of this. Like the Observer- we had fun finding him in all the early ones before we knew who(what?) he was.
We are wartching Season 2 of Life on hulu too.

Sally- LOL about the SAT's. both my kids had state testing last few weeks. They asked if I h/s'ed them would thay have to take them. See, know I can say yes!

Clara! That sounds awesome!! Good luck with your decision!

Yes...ladies...I will be in your mafia....my daughter recruited me...sent some of her friends to me and I am in their mafia too....I don't play...but she says it helps them, and I do get rewards...and I gift them....and send energy...LOL....funny thing is...I have never played once and I am on level 8!!! she recruited me to farmtown to..I like to farm...so you can be my neighbor there too!! Another quickie from me this morning, where does the time go?? Gotta run to Walgreen's before work so I'm actually leaving the house early, LOL, course I'm not even dressed yet ;). I woke up feeling a little congested and dizzy-headed, ugh, I hope it gets better because it is making me nauseous.

Tali-hope little Jake's finger is not too terribly sore, poor, poor little guy!! I bet it hurt you as bad as him, I can't stand to see anyone hurting but when it's the fam I swear I feel every pain. big (((hugs))) to you both.

Chris-have a wonderful, WARM, day :). Don't work too hard, try to enjoy it!

LindaW-I hope you get to have a little relaxtion in between all of the yardwork! I didn't watch AI this season, but I've been keeping up a bit...I'll have to go read the news to see how things were. Have a great day!

Hi ladies, a quick driveby for me. Work is busy and I have a meeting tonight. But I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.

I am happy - DH is home and he won't be traveling again for work until September! His next travel will include C. and me when we got to FL and on our cruise in June! I am counting down. ;)

Good morning! It is early for me. My husband made a ton of noise getting ready this morning, or at least it woke me up which it usually doesn't so I'm up before my alarm and thought I would visit.

Wednesday means 2 more days of work. Whoohoo!! Then a 4 day weekend. I'll get to spend Friday with dh which will be very nice. E will be at school and A will be in daycare. Whatever will we do?? We might actually get bored of each other. Lol!!

Wednesdays are always a busy day. E has piano lessons and I have my church group, although today we are planning a lunch fundraiser for our "Walk for the Cure." The walk is next month!! I'm excited about it. I've already raised my goal of $500 just by e-mail harassment. Yay me!!

So, I need to start getting ready soon so I need to finish up here...

Chris - Yay for sunshine!! How crazy it was freezing yesterday and now it will be 80. Crazy weather. I hate shaving my legs too. I will definately have to watch this season of In Plain Sight. I watched the first season but didn't know the second season came on. I have some catching up to do.

Ona - you're doing not only your yard work but your mom's too? And you hate yardwork?? You are an amazing daughter. i wouldn't do that. I don't do my own yardwork, much less somebody else's. So, who is your vote for AI?? I have always been an Adam fan but I have switched to Kris. I think he is awesome and I would totally buy his CD.

Dawn - So, I have already decided now that I should take the job. It will be better for my career and give me a lot more opportunities. The clinic has been great but I am getting lazy and I have to do paperwork, which I hate. It is a government job so it will take forever to actually start working. There are so many great things about. Much better benefits, holiday/vacation, pay, etc. I'll get to work with students again, which I love. I put in my resume through their system but I don't know if it was t he right job posting. I called my friend who will do the hiring but he hasn't called back yet. I am really hoping I won't have to interview. I hate that part.

Well, my alarm just went off so it is time to start getting ready. I'll chat with you ladies later!!
 
ME - I missed you. I am so jealous you are going on a cruise already. i don't get to go until the end of next February. I am so glad YMG will be home for awhile.
 
morning everyone...i'm feeling that mack truck feeling this morning...too many late nights!! yikes!! so this is short and sweet! Not much for me today (i say that, but you guys and your " i can't believe you do sooo much, sally" may think it's a lot!! LOL!!) Just meeting my pastor's wife for a bible study at 1 and then band rehearsal tonight at 8:30. So hopefully I can get my blog post up and watch the AI episode that I missed last night. I did watch the Dancing with the stars finale...loved it...altho the person I thot was gonna win totally didn't, but the final three were all great, so I was fine with it!! :) (no tears here!! LOL!!! My sister is still making fun of me about american idol!!)

Good afternoon...I am DONE with all that yard work!!! I can't take anymore!! well...until tomorrow...sent my DH to get more mulch...told him it wasn't going to be enough...they never listen...HHMMMMM.... I have not gotten to watch the morning news one day this week....He just does not realize that I have a routine..LOL!! He is moving slower this week..too much on his mind...he's been struggling for about a year now...a year and half ago, he had blood clots on his lungs..SCARED THE YOU KNOW WHAT OUT ME.....and he was out of work several months...he's been somewhat depressed since then...dr says it's normal...just to give it time....he is better...but sometimes he regresses a bit...and this is one of those weeks. Well anyway...thinking about going to a bed and breakfast this weekend....if the holiday hasn't got the prices hiked up too much...maybe I can get him geared up a little;)....well...guess I need to get a load of laundry in...you ladies have a good evening!! or morning in your case Ona!!

ClaraBear....yes I hate yardwork...but would do just about anything for my mom!! She has always been a rock for me...getting so I might have to be her rock now!! and Yay for the job!!

Chris...honey...I will shop any day over the yard work....sounds like a good plan to me!!

quick one from me..I just got home, MMG worked very early overtime job and was home by noon...so when the baby went in for a nap I went for a pedicure!! (much needed might I add....lol) But, hes just waking up so I have to run.

P.S. ME - we may be coming down to stay w/ my friend in June (possibly the 11, 12, 13....are you around????)
 
Hi everyone! It's thursday morning here and I am at home typing this..............our wet weather has turned into a full blown low depression so yesterday afternoon they issued early flood warnings for a few local rivers and ours, the Clarence, was one of them! for me this means I am cut in about 4 places between town and home! I rang my manager to tell her that I was leaving to buy some groceries and then head home with my work laptop and would work from there. So I did that and it was fairly quiet on the home front until around 10.00pm last night and then down came the rain!! Its hasn't let up once since then and its now 9.00am. We are not in any danger of the river flooding, we are about 3 kms from the river on the other side of a small mountain range and built up high, looking down into the valley at the moment our green paddocks are slowly turning into a lake! awesome! so anyways, here I am sitting in front of the fire, watching the world turn liquid!! Even if I wanted to I wouldn't be able to get out of our property at the moment and depending on how long it rains it looks like I will home for tomorrow as well.............:)

Clara - I think you are morphing me into LindaW :) Linda is one doing the yardwork for her mother, my mum is in the big garden in the sky so I won't be doing hers in a hurry! LOL! Great news about the new job!

Chris - the time thingy is confusing at times............ I have my personal laptop set to your time so that makes it easier when I am using it, but when I am using the work laptop or our our other PC its on our time so it just makes it harder to work out! LOL! So at the moment its around 7.10pm Wed night your time while for me its 9.00am Thursday............ LOL! I am living in the future!!

Tali - hope your little one is on the mend...............that little finger is going to be sore for quite some time!

LindaW - you go girl! just think of all the exercise you are getting and how wonderful the yard will look!! LOL, I will need a boat by the end of the day to get into my garden down at the bottom of our house site.

Sally - you seem to be having a QUIET day! :) get some rest!!

aawwwww Clara, you are not a dork sweetie!! :p and you haven't lost any points! I am not real good with names either............at work I am an IT trainer and I travel within my company training our field staff to use our IT systems like email etc. I normally have 12 -15 in a course and of course I don't remember all of their names!!! I get to site and all these people are saying "hi Ona!" and I am like..........."Well hellllo there! how have you been" frantically trying to remember their names!!!!!!! its a crack up!!

OK, talk to you later ........... ummmm, what did you say your name was again:confused: BAWHAHAHA... only joking sweets!! :D nighty night! :D
 
hey all... sorry haven't been around... its been a CRAZY day... Will woke up at 5:30 a.m. not feeling well again, and couldn't hold down juice... he went to the doctor and he's grown 1/2 inch and lost 3 lbs since the end of January... so his pediatrician changed his meds from 36 mg daily to 27 mg daily (a new dosage), and she ordered a CBC and is testing his thyroid... he's also developed eczema, so I have to treat that with hydrocortisone cream, and will have to be careful with perfumed detergents and fabric softners... we should get the results of the blood tests tomorrow...

so long day, and I'm exhausted!

Woo-hoo. I have a meeting from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. tomorrow, but other than that I'm done. Of course, I will work around 20 hours and also teach my college class again.... But I will still have fun. =)

It was a very busy day and I'm pretty pooped. Good thing I got a new car though. DH was driving the old one to a rental car place so he could get a rental to drive down to KC for work, and the crappy thing broke down on him. So that was very lucky that we had already picked up the new car and everything.

I missed out on the end of the year festivities last night because DH was sick. It was probably a good thing because many of the people were not feeling so hot for check out today. =)

O.k. I'm going to go watch American Idol Finale and eat some chocolate ice cream (a little celebratory indulgence). I'll give personals tomorrow.

Oh and Chris - Try watching Castle. It's a tiny bit silly...after all...no cop in their right mind would let an author interview a suspect or go on a raid....but they have pretty witty banter and great chemistry with each other. I'm enjoying it. And the full episodes are online.
 
I'm sooooo sorry! Please don't hit me, LOL. I got to leaving love in the gallery and completely forgot until now I was going to come do personals :(. Now it's waaaay past bedtime and I'm sure y'all know by now I gotta have my sleep LOL. I can't tell you how many times I've dozed off driving and that's not a good thing....of course it has nothing to do with sleep apnea or not using a CPAP ;) couldn't if I wanted to cause Davy chewed the cords and hoses!

Tomorrow is the last day of work until Tuesday!!!!!!!!! YIPPEE!
