Its not really May 12?? Gah!!
But that is a "happy gah." Becasue that means, we have another Guest Designer Challenge and you all *must* check it out!
ohhhh our second GUEST designer SPOTLIGHT...HOLLY DESIGNS!!! may 12-may17th!
Wait until you see her kit! Holly will be guesting at the O all month, but you have this week to do the challenge and perhaps win some fab-O prizes!

*deep breath* wow- this has me all worked up this morning (or was it the coffee?? Probably both...;))

I worked so hard yesterday! My new online shop is open. I found a couple of typos in there that I have to go back and change but other than that, its looks good.

I am part of the Artisan Business Association and they help to provide a search engine plus advertising and a free web store.

Today I need to update my regular website blech. But I want to play outside more!

Sandra- sounds like a busy week for you. Hope that everything goes well for your sis. And no drama! Have a great time at the zoo tomorrow.

Joslyn, I am pretending I don't see you! Like Clara-- we want you to be in the hospital. (That just sounds so mean!) Hope things go well!

Good morning Dawn!!

LindaW- whew! I am glad I didn't scare you off. I have a tendency to ramble. Plus I have a weird sense of humor.... so it takes a while to get to understand me LOL

ME- bah, never made it to the garden center. Maybe today. You M-Day sounded like it was very special :)

Sally thinking the best thoughts possible and lots of healing for that little girl. Please keep us updated.
And dramatic? You? nah.......

Clara- ooops- hope I didn't get that song stuck in your head all day. I know when I was teaching I would come home and still be humming some of f that silly stuff LOL
I know you are using PSE Organizer but at digiscrapinfo.com there are a lot of tips on organizing that you could probably apply to what you are doing.
DSI Home
Wow- good that you got that IV in you- alcohol poisoning- not fun! Glad that you are feeling better!

To everyone else who pops in today *waving hi*

Tip on Tuesday- you know I had thought of something yesterday- now I can't remember for the life of me!

My tip should to write things down!

Have a fun and fab day!

Good evening Chris! Haven't popped in before............ this time zone really is confusing....it's 8.30pm here in Aussie land and I just popped in to have a quick look before heading off to bed........and here is your Good Morning message!! LOL! And its Tuesday night here and it was the 12th as it was my eldest grandson's birthday so it must only be May 12th TUESDAY morning for you guys....umm, you have Wednesday in your title :)) OK I'm off to get things ready for tomorrow and then bed........LOL! when I read this tomorrow morning (normally when I get to work at 8.00am) it will be evening for you guys!! 'night everyone, and hope you all have a great Tuesday wherever you are! xx

Good morning to my wonderful, fantabulous, O-family! I hope everyone is well.

Chris-I will check out your site this evening, can't wait to see it! I did check out digiscrapinfo and it is awesome, I'm going to be dusting off my ACDSee and get organized. I got all inspired :). I hope you have an awesome day and get to play outside! Think of me when you do....all stuck inside at work LOL.

Clara-Have you got all organized? Been to any comedy clubs since the other night? hehehe...I've BTDT with the alcohol poisoning, it is not a fun
experience. I didn't get an IV and it took me 3 days to feel ok after. I wised up after that, well, for the most part ;). I bet you were a lot of fun that night, I would've loved to have been there partying right along with you! Maybe with a little less spirits so you wouldn't feel so ughy later though.

Sandra-have an awesome day! How was the zoo?

Kelly-where are you?! LOL. How are you and how's the little cutie pie (Nico) doing? I hope it's nice and warm there so you both can enjoy being outside playing :).

Sara-how's it going?

Sally-I'm praying for the little girl. Let us know..

LindaW-I hope you pop in often so we can get to know you!

Joslyn-how are you feeling if you're still here? Any contractions yet? :)
I'm hoping it's today!!!

MaryEllen-helloooo! Have a fab day :).

Everyone have the best day possible, I'll ttyl! Love you guys!

Hi girlies! Happy Tuesday!

Chris, you had me totally thrown off with the Wednesday subject line. I was like, wait a minute, where did Tuesday go. haha

Not much happening here, but that's a good thing, right? Have so much laundry to do since I declared no chores over the weekend. Hoping to catch up tonight with all of that.

Hi Ona, nice to meet you!

Dawn - hope your day is a good one.

Love to you all! And virtual iced mocha's from McCafe ... have you seen those commercials and signs? They look absolutely incredible.

good morning! I'm having coffee and hanging out... today is Will's spring conference at school, but this time they're student led conferences... his teacher says he's gonna do great! This evening we're picking up tickets to see the Lexington Legends (minor league baseball). The kids earn bookmarks for reading books at school... each bookmark gets us 2 free tickets... so we only have to pay for Matthew LOL... the game is on Saturday...

We're really excited about the zoo tomorrow... Matthew and Piper still don't know we're going so it's a complete surprise for them... I'm just truly hoping it doesn't rain... there's a 60% chance of rain, but the temps are supposed to be close to 80... so guess we'll see what happens... we'll be leaving at 8:30 in the morning...

Chris - everything is busy lately - ugh! the new shop looks great!

Dawn - it's tomorrow... so I'll let you know when I get back :)

Hi ME!

Hi, Ona! Glad you stopped in the Ooo's! As for the date... well every now and then, Chris typos ;)

have a great day everyone!

LOLOLOL!!! I usually try to warn new O-Family members that I am date challenged, especially at 6 am!
Never, ever go by the days or dates that I give you :p

I could change the thread title, but its too funny to fix. ;)

Good Morning Ladies! Again, thanks for welcoming so kindly into your sweet group here! The sun finally came out today..Yay!! but guess I still can't get outside to do any work...my daughter called and she's bringing the "little man" (Cameran) when she's finished at the eye doctor...they had to dilate his eyes...YUCK...bad enough for big people...horrible for 5 yo!! UP SIDE...LOVE that my little man gets to spend the day with me!! Hope you all have a great day!!

Clara...I am from SW Virginia...we usually don't get a lot of rain..but..we needed it!

Chris..Oh it takes quite a bit to scare me off!! I am a bit whacky myself! I do more scaring than being scared off...LOL

Dawn...looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Sandra...Have fun at your game this weekend...we have a minor league here too...we go often...we take our grandsons...they love it!

Leaving you all with some hugs!!

Good Morning! Good Morning!

Thanks Chris...now I have a different Good Morning song stuck inmy my head. Not really your fault but I just felt like blaming you anyway. Lol!!

Today is good. I found out yesterday that my sister's case will be on the Today show on Thursday. I am just so frustrated with the whole thing. When did foster parents start deciding t hat they get to keep whatever kid they want without any regard for the system? I know DSHS has made mistakes, but that still doesn't give that foster family the right to keep the little girl just because they love her. Their job is to provide a safe and loving home for as long as necessary. Sometimes adoption works out and sometimes it doesn't. I want to share the story again and what i wrote in response to it. Feel free to skip over it if you would like...

King 5 News
My reply:
"Does anybody see the huge holes in this story. I have been watching the news coverage on this for several days now and it leaves me angry. I saw the other day that the Langleys have had 20 foster children. Where are these children while they are spending all of their money and energy fighting for little Poca. I am glad that they love and care for her so much but she is not their only child. I saw Mr. Langley say that they had no problem losing their house to support their cause in keeping this child, but where will these other children live. Not to mention, when is it ever in the best interest of a child to exploit them in the news. Maybe her face was blurred but I can guarantee if I was ever walking down the street and heard someone call a child Poca I would know if it was that child. How is that a good environment for a child.

A foster parent has a job to do. Their job is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for a child that cannot be in their natural home. It sounds to me like this family is trying to legally kidnap a child that is not theirs to keep. The foster care system does adopt out children when the biological family is not an option but that is not always the case. Every story is different and I am sure there are many reasons not disclosed in this story as to why the process has taken so long.

This story said that nobody from the state spoke up for the family. I would have to guess there is a reason for that. If any of them thought that the Langley's were the best place for this little girl they would have fought for them to be able to keep her in their home, but that is not the case.

The Langley's side has a pediatric neurologist speaking for their cause. What does a neurologist have to do with the mental health of a child? Nothing!! A neurologist deals with brain function not mental health. So all he would know about the mental health of this child is what he hears from the Langley's. I don't see a psychologist, counselor or psychiatrist speaking out for the Langley's. Even a pediatrician would be more qualified to have an opinion about this situation and yet they aren't speaking out on behalf of this child.

My biggest concern in this whole story is the other children. Where are they while the Langley's are so busy fighting for Poca. I hope and pray that Poca finds herself in a home where her best interests are really the center of decisions made on her behalf instead of being made because someone doesn't want to lose her. I will be busy praying for the child NOT the Langley's."

OKay...I am done discussing that now. I get so upset and so worked up about it.

Today is Tuesday...hmmm...nothing exciting oing on today. Last night we tried out Raving Rabbids. That game is too fun. We got it awhile ago but had never really played. It was way too fun. Addie even pretend played with us. She had her own remote, it just wasn't turned on. I loved the fighting game. You throw toilet plungers at the enemy. Hilarious! Then during the game we talked on the phone in the theater and hit some guy with sausages until he fell asleep. Who thinks of these things. DH has been very nice lately. He's been asking if I mind, playing games with the kids, and just overall being in a good mood. Although still not doing his share of the dishes. Hmmm...

I'm currently trying to decide if I need a coffee today or not. It sound yummy, but I've been pretty good about coffee lately. I'll have to think about it. Maybe something iced...less milk.

Well, I'll leave everyone some love before I do my husband's share of the dishes along with my own before I head off to work.

Chris - I love that you are calendar challenged. It makes my day. I will have to check out your site. I'm sure it looks awesome. I'll check out that page about organizing.

Ona - Welcome to the Os. You'll love the O-family. Chris will keep you on your toes as far as the date goes. I hope you slept well and when you read this again it will be your morning so I hope you have a great Wednesday!!

Dawn - I would love to have you come play with us at the comedy club. So, my issue with drinking too much was not drinking "blended" margaritas. So, now I know. I was definately silly to say the least. i found out yesterday that they took some pics of me being silly. Great friends and husband I have there getting evidence. Haha!! Love them. I am almost organized, but only with O stuff. I only have Genevieve's stuff left but I am doing that a bit different since I am on her CT and use her stuff more often, ya know? As soon as I am done I am hoping to get a move on and be ready to do some scrapping.

ME - Good morning. Good luck with your laundry. Too bad the laundry fairy aka dh didn't do it for you. But I guess we can only ask for so much, right? Thanks for the coffee.

Sandra - Good luck to Will. I'm sure he'll do great. The baseball game sounds fun. We have some minor league teams around here and I always think it sounds like a good idea but never manage to get there. I do see the Mariners a couple times a year though.

LindaW - Have fun with your little guy. 5 yo eye dilation, huh? Wow!! Poor kid. I've only had my eyes dilated once and I hated it. I hope you get the rain you need. Once again welcome to the Os.

Joslyn - If you are reading this you are wrong!!! Go to the hospital and have a baby already.

Love you all!! Have a great day!!

morning girlies!! I'm just hanging, doing school with the kiddos, listening to itunes and scrapping! I finished one LO for today. I uploaded 5 of the 8 I've done recently. I always forget to upload so they stack up. sorry for blitzing the gallery!! heehee

our little friend, Layla, made it through the surgery, only to go back because they thought they hadn't drained a site...they found out that the liquid coming out was from the tumor. It was another miracle that they found it! This baby is going to have an amazing story to tell when she is older and healthy!! keep praying please! She was resting after surgery last night, so we think it's only up to the chemo to get rid of the neuroblastoma and cancer that is in her bones. She has a treatment plan with hope to fully recover. They have quite a road to travel, so please keep praying! thanks!!!

We are going to my mom's tonight for pizza and a slide show!! woohoooooo!! She got all of the slides that belonged to her parents. so she said she was locking the door once we get in!! heehee...6000 slides later, we may go home next wednesday!! LOL!!!

Hope everyone has a FAB Tuesday!! love you all!!

Dawn - it's tomorrow... so I'll let you know when I get back :)

LOL! Well, Chris had me all thrown off with the Wed/Tues thing, hehehehe. At least that is the excuse I'm using ;). I'm soooo jealous, I would much rather go to the zoo than work! Have fun!

Leaving you all with some hugs!!

Hi Linda! Grandsons?! You look 20-something, you must have thrown the grand in there by mistake! Wow, whatever you do for keeping young let me know!

Evening my lovelies :)!

Clara-oh my, that Poca story is really getting to me. I will pray hard for her and your sister. I have to wonder if part of the reason for the foster parents to do this is for the attention it is generating. What a sad situation. I hope it all works for the best where the little one is concerned.

LOL, I KWYM about the blended drinks, of course the little place I usually go doesn't have a blender! Isn't that crazy, no blender at a bar?! You have me soooo craving a margarita ;).

Sally-WOW, I'm thinking about and praying for little Layla and her family. What a lot for anyone especially a child to go through. Please do keep us updated! Enjoy your evening of pizza and a slideshow!

Mary Ellen-hope you didn't get lost in the laundry! I know around my house it always feels as if we are sinking under dishes and clothes LOL. Where do they all come from?!

Ona-hope your day is fantastic while we are all sleeping :). I'm soooo tickled you are joining us in here!

LindaW-hope to see you in here regularly! Warning it is addictive! I even thought about everyone while I was on vacay with DH, I missed my O fix sooo bad!

Jos?! You haven't been here today! Oh my, could it be?! I am soooo hoping! I cannot wait to see pics of the little guy :).

I need to try and get some scrapping done tonight. On a selfish note, please think about me tomorrow, I may get some bad news at work. I am soooo nervous about it.
I love you guys! (((hugs)))

Hi again! I just might catch some of you before you all head off to bed! It's 10.20am here in Aussie land and I am just having my morning tea.

Thanks so much for the warm greetings Dawn! I must admit I have been lurking for some time, just trying to get my head around the time zone thingy!! It looks like I need to log in around 8.00pm my time in order to say 'good morning'.

I am off to the hairdressers this afternoon for a cut and colour. Have been trying to save some pennies over the last few months so I have been doing the hair colouring I at home. Mr Rudd our PM has kindly given all of us taxpayers a one off AU$900 'gift' to go and 'stimulate the economoy' LOL! Its our new aussie phrase for 'retail therapy'.

Dawn - I will be sending out good vibes to you for tomorrow - tonight while I sleep! xx :)
Clara - I have been keeping up with your story on your sister's involvement in it - this type of news (?) reporting gets its fair share over here too. Like you said, no one seems to be considering the impact on the child.
Sally - that is such sad news about Layla and her family - sending lots of good vibes over the seas to her. Wow! slideshow night and pizza......that sounds like fun! LOL! about your mum locking you in! ha ha captive audience indeed!
Mary Ellen - thanks for your greetings.......after my 4 children left home I thought that would be the end of my laundry and dirty dishes miseries but no..... it has a life of its own and just keeps piling up!!
LindaW - Dawn is right, you don't look old enough for grandkids!!
Jos - hope to hear that your little one has arrived safe and sound shortly.

No doubt I have missed some lovely ladies .... will need to get into the hang of things!

Hiya Ona! You mean your kids actually left home?! LOL, mine are still living here at 23 and almost 25. And somehow I still end up doing most of the cleaning....argh.

Well, all it's off to bed with me. Hopefully, I will sleep, got a danged migraine coming on already. I did manage to scrap a page for the awesome spotlight of Holly's. I'm not too thrilled with mine, but I hope to have time to do another. Night night everyone who's on US time, and happy Wednesday to our overseas friends!
