Happy Hump Day everyone!
I can't believe it is Wed. here already (don't freak me out more, Ona, by telling me it is Thursday hahah!)

My Tuesday was pretty much a bust! I have to stop going to the beach- I seem to bring the rain. I had to go food shopping first, ran through, unpacked as quick as I could. We get packed for the beach and drive over. As I leave my house, the sun is shining, but 2 miles down the road, you can see the dark clouds. Get to the beach, getting cloudier.... but no thunder, so we're all good. 15 minutes or so later- it starts to rain, then downpour! We all run to one of the little canopies- and it is thundering and lightning... I want to stick it out b/c -- darn it-- I just got there! We see blue skies coming in and then head back out of the canopy. It is now fab! Not a cloud in sight!

Not even an hour later, same thing happens.... this time, fugedaboutit-- I am outta there! I was home at 1:30, such a bummer. And then last night, I don't know what was happening, it it was just rain or hail, but we had a storm that was crazy-loud! The sun is out now, and I am keeping my fingers crossed I canmake it to the lake later on!
 
So here are my personals:

Joslyn- 2 months?? How can he be two months already? Bet he is getting cuter by the day! Is he smiling at you yet?

DawnM- heheheh, Davy! What a character- I really had no idea bunnies could have so much personality and he sure has personality!

Sandra- the puppies are over a year old already? Wow!! How big are they now? Have you posted any recent pics? I'd love to see them!

Cornelia- yay! Glad you found me!

LindaP - how are those muscles today? We are country to the Wayne County (PA) State Fair in August and yes, the food is the best! (well, best tasting, worst for your health LOL) Have fun with all of your prep!

Sally- that sounds like a FAB day!!! I wish I could send you all of the rain that we have been having- in NJ, we are all thinking enough already! LOL
I am so thrilled for you and your lessons. I love learning and would go back to school, even for just one class at a time, if I could. You are so talented and creative- you are going to be awesome (er!!)
Yeah, I miss Carla still something fierce at times. What a good soul she was..... She always had a comment about you LOL!

DawnV- woo hoo- I am so happy that you are hanging with us- def. get those designers over here LOL Hope that your filling holds out until you get back home.

Clara,. that is a fab way to wake up!! Addies sounds like a real sweetie! Hahah on the FB stuff, I am so territorial on certain things too. And yes, some days we have to take our meds and relax!

Clare- sounds like a very nice day- what book are you reading?

Andrea- uh oh... I never got to place the order yesterday. I got sidetracked by shiny things too :) - it is on my To-Do list today! Do you want me to make the one (White Tea and Ginger Spray) and ship that out first or would you rather me wait and combine the two?
Good luck with your appt today- and no way will they revoke your mommy license, if they haven't taken mine yet.LOL
And ITA- DawnV is an awesome designer- I looove her stuff!

And how scary for your nephew and his parents :( How did he do w/ the surgery? Scott was born with Atrial Septal Defect and Coarctation of the Aorta, but thankful they have gradually gotten smaller (the holes) and the aorta is normal size and he never needed surgery. Hope your little guys is recovering well. xoxoxo to him!
 
ME- so sorry to hear about your dh's grandmother. Hope that YMG has a safe trip and comes back soon. WTG with the PT-ing!!!

Jeanye- wooooot on being chosen for that CT!!!! Sounds like you will have a blast!!!
I hope you never have any "thrown" stories too. I was super lucky- I had on jeans and a leather jacket- and only have a small scar on my elbow from getting some road rash.

I tease my DS that he is very stubborn b/c I was thrown from the bike before I knew I was pg, then at10 weeks, got into a car accident, some guy rammed right into me head on, and then left the scene (the cop who helped me reamed him out when he turned himself in yay!), then hit a tree in the snow at 6 months pg. Then in labor- he didn't want to come down- I pushed for 4 hours (yes, 4 hours ugh) before they were able to suck him out lololol!

Sara- hope you pop in quick enough to say hi- Hope you have a wonderful and fantabulous trip!

HAHHHAHAHA! Chris!!! LOL! It's still Wednesday downunder but nightime! 9.29pm to be exact and I am sooooo tired! I am sitting in a motel so out of my normal routine...normally in bed by now!! I am down at our corporate office about 3 hrs from home at a place called Port Macquarie. It is right on the seaside and a popular holiday place. At the moment though it is pouring rain!! I have meetings in the morning and will drive home tomorrow afternoon!!

good morning! its gonna be a busy day for me! I've got to go back over to the hospital and have my TB test read today... then off to Petsmart to get a new leash and new ID tags for Bailey and Darwin since they lost theirs somewhere in the backyard *sigh* all in preparation for the vet tomorrow...

my friend, Jen was going to go with me and help at the vet since I have to take both of them, but she told me yesterday she's pregnant! they've been trying for a year and because of all the problems last time she's considered VERY high-risk and will have to have a cerclage at around 13 weeks... she's not allowed to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk and has been told to take it easy... so hopefully Gabe can help me tomorrow!

other than that it's another boring day at my house... I really miss the kids!

Chris - no new pictures of the dogs, and yes they're over a year old! I don't have any pics lately, though I do need to get some... maybe I'll try that after Gabe gives them another bath LOL...

Good Morning O's!

Today is house cleaning (yuk!:(), Bills (double yuk!:mad:) and then.....SCRAPPING! (TRIPLE FUN!!!:mrgreen::mrgreen:)

We had a big rain storm here in San Antonio yesterday evening. We need the rain so bad but, it ruined my plans to take my nephew to the pool. He is visiting with me for a week. It even hailed a bit! I was super mad cuz I was going to have to unplug my laptop......but then I got smart and realized I could just unplug it and run off the battery.......(I am not the brightest light on the porch sometimes....lol)

After our dinner settled last night we had ice cream cones :D and then DD#3 and I watched a movie together. Well, until she fell asleep anyway.

All in all, it was a super nice day.

Hello ladies!!

So, yesterday was a good day. A friend of mine wanted to get some food. She was going to go to Costco but she always runs late and I had to get the kids to bed earlier last night so we just met up at Ruby Tuesdays. I didn't realize how expensive it was, or maybe the prices have gone up. Who knows. I ended up grabbing another friend's kid along the way. He is 12 going on 40 I swear. He cares about things I could care less about but it is so interesting listening to him ramble on and on about these things. After dinner we came back to my house and played some DDR. I always forget I have it. I got picked on horribly for it but I still think it is fun...even though I have to keep it on the easiest setting and still fail half the time. It was fun.

This morning started out sweet with Addie giving me kisses...dh brings her in most mornings to give me kisses before they head downstairs. So she was all sweet and cute and then they got downstairs and the crying began. I don't think anything particular happened...she was just sad. Then dh decided she needed some splinters taken out. That was horrible. She was hysterical by the end of that. Poor kid. What was really crazy is we were getting the splinters out in my room and Ethan had come in during the night and was laying next to me and he didn't even move while Addie was shrieking. I wish I could still sleep like that.

Well, my alarm is about to go off so I had better get. I'll come back later for some personals.
 
Hi all! We're back from Nova Scotia. I'm sure you missed me *wink*. :-) It was great. I'll upload a new profile pic soon so you can revel in my fog-burned complexion. Yup, only about 2 hours of sun total during the whole week we were there.

Chris - I'd like to personally thank you for going to the beach yesterday! We spent 1/2 an hour circling EWR waiting for those storms to pass so we could land, then another 1.5 hours on the tarmac (yes, inside the plane) waiting for another cell to pass so we could take off on the connection! *grin* Love, ya, Chris!

For everyone else, I'll get caught up and be back with personals!

Hey everybody! I had my OB intake appointment this morning. Nothing interesting to report. They took blood and pee, gave me a bunch of paperwork, and put in my referral for my actual first medical appointment. I had to take the girls, and they did pretty well, considering I was shuttling them around a giant clinic full of lots of broke/sick soldiers all morning long. We had to stop at Burger King on the way home because Mama was hungry. I don't get nauseous, but when I don't eat I do get shaky and weird.

Today I must do some work for Merkee, then I think we'll go to the Wednesday night fellowship at church.

That's about it, ladies!

Clara- we never go to restaurants, mostly because I don't feel like wrestling the kids for two hours and then paying for it. Eating at home is much easier. But ever time we DO go, I'm shocked at the prices. Seems like they are higher and higher. Applebees has that 2 for 20 thing sometimes, but then I still spend the whole meal (when I'm not wrestling children) thinking about the amount of groceries I could have bought for that amount.
RE: DDR, my son is having a "Party Like it's 1999" party with his college buddies, and they are going to play DDR. I personally think that's a hilarious idea for a party. It's a costume party, and his first idea was to dress as somebody from 1982 partying like it's 1999, but now he's thinking of dressing as Napster and passing out free burned CD's.

i hate days like this, had to set up my notebook totally new, the whole afternoon I was saving my designs and kits and pictures, and the whole evening michael is setting it up. I hope it will work tomorrow again, i cant scrap, cant do anything, its so boring,

HellooooO everyone! Kind of a sucky day, well, afternoon for my family. DH lost his next to oldest sis in a car accident. We think she was probably high on something, she went over the center line, then over-corrected and went through part of a cornfield then back onto the road and head on into a truck. The driver of the truck had to be airlifted out to Nashville, TN but the passenger was treated and released. Then to top it all off, we can't have the funeral til next Friday with visitation next Thurs. But that's due to her husband having family in Florida that need to be here. DH gave me quite a fright when he came to work to tell me, he went to the waiting room and called me from his cell phone and said he needed me to come to the lobby and get him. I got him then he said he had some really bad news and asked if I wanted to go somewhere private and sit down. I said, no, tell me now, I thought probably our son had been in a motorcycle accident so my blood pressure spiked and I ended up with a migraine. Not that his sister dying is better or anything but, y'all know what I mean, I'm sure. Now, I'm just worried what's next since these always come in 3s. Ugh. We weren't close to his sister anymore, so I feel pretty bad about that, but it was because of the way she behaved. I feel bad for DH and his other 2 sisters though. She didn't have any kids which is good. Anyway...that's my afternoon.
 
I'm taking off work tomorrow with DH so I'll hop in here and do some catch up on personals then :). I love you all! Be careful out there, you just never know.
 
oh Dawn! that's just terrible about your SIL. Thinking of you sweetie and sending you lots of love and white light!! {{hugs}} its gonna be a bit rough for you guys, especially having to wait that little while before the funeral!! lots of love and hang in there!! xoxox
