Well, here it is, the big day. I feel like I have been talking and waiting for - forever-- and now here it is.
I was a wreck over the weekend, but better so far this morning. The kids were at my IL's and I think that the house was just too quiet. I just get so much comfort from my kids. Even when they are fighting/making me pull my hair out, I like having them around me.

Kinda feeling odd..... just all crazy crud zipping through my head.

So I am going to keep it short and sweet- like me! :D

Love you all and I am so honored to have you all in my life, and that you are praying and thinking of me and my family.

Chris, I usually don't post here because I'm always running in my crazy and busy life! But I just wanted you to know that I will be thinking of you and praying for you and your family! You're a wonderful person and I'm sure everything will be all right! Big hugs!!!

Sally - kinda funny cuz I was praying during my shower too. LOL!

Chris - I have been praying for you all weekend. And for today I have been praying for you to have peace and a sense of calm along with wisdom and understanding for the people who will be making the decisions. I just want you to know that I have been praying for very specific things along with an overall good outcome for you. We all just adore you and know that you guys need this and that you deserve this. We know you guys are not looking for an easy way out that you guys would much rather be hard working Americans that had to work long days than to be sick and I do continually pray for healing for your family, but until that day comes I am hopeful that today will bring an awesome outcome.

we're back from the hearing. i wasn't able to go into the actual hearing, but Gary felt that it went well. The lawyer said that he is 99% sure he will get approved. Apparently, after Gary walked out, the judge said to the lawyer that Gary's case was "heartbreaking."
Sad to think that you are so sick that you make a disability judge feel bad for ya....
But it should be good news- we'll hear in hopefully 4-6 weeks.

I am now off for a nap.....

Well, if the judge said "heartbreaking" that has to be a good sign, right? How is Gary doing? I'm sure today had to be unbelievably emotional for him. Sending big hugs to both of you. Oh man...another day when distance sucks. But know that in spirit I am sitting next to you guys holding your hand.

Now......big breaths......ready for tomorrow? I'll be holding your hand tomorrow too. And just keep thinking "Clara thinks this is cool. She is such a dork. LOL!!"
 
Good stuff, Chris! SOOO glad to hear that things went well! Yay! Now we're all on pins and needles waiting to hear the outcome!

I've got goosebumps, I really feel like the decision has been made where it counts, just a matter of time before you guys find out for sure. I am so happy for you!!! And I know tomorrow will be ok, too. (((((HUGS)))))

Amen, Sally! I just feel like a big load has been lifted from the shoulders of everyone.
 
Chris!!! I am so glad that it went well!! Will continue positive thoughts and prayers!!! ((((HUGS)))) Let's hope for an early Christmas present!!!
 
I read on Gary's FB that he thought it went well. Then I posted that I was so glad. So you may need to remind him who the crazy woman is that is posting on his FB page. :-)

And praying for tomorrow too. A clean bill of health tomorrow will be just what the doctor ordered!
