Hope its okay for everyone, that I opened a new thread, but you are still awake and here its 6:40. I know much too early for getting up. But I had to got up a tablet, because of my headache the whole time, can't sleep anymore. And it starts getting hotter than yesterday, sun is shining.

@clara: oh wow skiing, I havent done it since years, Im sure I cant do it anymore or I will break my legs hmm landstuhl, i have never heard about it, do you mean landshut? that would be about 2 hours away from me. I dont live so long in germany to know lots of places, have only been to Berlin, the capital, and to Köln, near the Netherlands, thats all. But I would like to go nearly everywhere, I love traveling, looking arround and see fascinating things of the world, and taking pictures of course.

@Linda: wow I would be glad if my mom would live a little bit nearer. Amelie is seeing her grandma only once a month or every second month. thats really hard. And everyone is needing a little help.

This night was quite okay, except of my strong headache. Amelie is still sleeping and hopefully wont wake up before 9:30, would be glad for that break.

This is going to be an interesting posting experience for me. Again for some reason, when I use FF I can't get the text to stay formatted. So I have one window open in FF for yesterday's Ooo's and another window open in IE for today's.

LindaW- how did your day end up, were you able to get lots of painting done? Your DD is so good- I would have like to wring SIL's neck if she pulled that on me, especially when I was pg and hormonal:lol:

The Big City Sliders station is a little metal pan that you drop ground beef into, thenpress them down with a lid. It makes little mini-burgers. It was cute- the kids liked it. I prefer a grilled burger, but if I can get the kids to eat w/o complaining, its all good!

Sara- good to know that its not just my kids who loved Billy Mays LOL And yes!! Thank you! I do feel so much more like myself. I hate it when I get all crabby and foggy and cranky. But the good thing it that the new abx I am on is supposed to really hit the brain and CNS so I have a feeling it was really working on it. Who knows maybe the is the beginning of the end of treatment/illness????!!!

Now I am scrolled down- sorry to hear the painting was a bust I hope it goes perfect for you today.

LindaP- microbrew- so cool!! There is one up near me that we went to a couple of times whenthe kids were little- it was awesome! Enjoy the mac! I wish I could get one.....

I am zipping off, gotta get the kids up and out. They have dentist appts. First one for both in a couple of years. But they are covered now by Medicaid, so whew! I want to check to see if Gary and I are also covered because we haven't been to the dentist in... forever it seems!

Then I need to find a LabCorp facility on the way home and get blood drawn for my thyroid retest. It always comes back slightly low, but this is the first dr who actually wants more testing done, woot! (I do mean that sincerely- Lyme is known to screw up your hormones of all kinds- which is why I am now hypoglycemic too...)

If the sun comes out in time, I might take Cait to the beach again. Yesterday was a perfect day there I got some pics but they are still on the camera.

good morning! getting ready to make a gallery run here after the kids get off to daycare... I'm hoping to hear about that job today, but it will most likely be tomorrow... so I'm hanging out today doing some cleaning around the house and trying to finish up some design stuff I'm working on. I'm here by myself until Thursday, so I don't have to do the cleaning all at once! I can take plenty of breaks!

Chris - hope you have fun if you go to the beach! I'm glad I'm outta there too... apparently from what a girl from there told me they "treat you like sh** " around there... and I know they just gave another collector a $1700 payment that belonged to my friend... so I' glad I'm not there!

Cornelia - hope your headache gets better soon!

@Sandra: yes my headache is not here anymore, went away, and should stay away.:razz:

Amelie was now crying for over an hour, and nothing helped to keep her quite, so we went both to bed, normally we dont do that. The normal ritual is, she is tired; i bring her to bed, put a blanket over her body, and 2 or 3 minutes later she falls asleep. But today impossible, dont know whats wrong with her, I had to lay beside her, holding her tiny hand, music was on and after half an hour she fell asleep. Puh good now its quite hopefully she will sleep an hour, longer would be better. Weather is still sultry here, hope it will be colder or normal weather soon, rain would be also great.

I started packing our suitcases, coz we will be the whole weekend in austria, Amelie has to go to the doctor for getting a vacination, and then she will get her first earrings, she will look so cute, cant wait to see it. In austria we will also stay the whole weekend with my family, going to the zoo, maybe if the weather is fine, swimming in the river.

Oh and I didnt found a thread were I can post the latest pics from Amelie, Id like to show you them, so I did everything at my blog, if anybody likes, you can take a look here: http://cornelia-scrap.blogspot.com/

So and this was again a novel lol sry, Im talking to much. You would be laughing if you could see how im writing here, the whole time the dicitionary is in my hand, so many new words when I talk about this day.

Good Morning!!

I am off to paint for sure today...actually leaving as soon as I type this!! I will a couple of hours in until I pick up the little man from K-camp...then we are coming home...to stay cool..ALREADY scorching here!! I feel so bad for DH...every year the heat gets to him worse and worse...(UPS driver)...he's just not as young as he used to be....anyway....not much more from me...

Cornelia...I am happy to hear your headache is gone! You are just a doll!! so is your daughter...I looked at your blog...love the photos!! sounds like a fun trip to your parents!! At least you do get to go visit! Since my girls are here close to me, I am fortunate. I had to work all the time when they were growing up and I guess that is why I feel like I want to do so much now.

Chris...It makes my heart HAPPY to hear that you are feeling so good!! Such a good person doesn't deserve what you have been through!! Now that you told me what the Big City Sliders is, I remember seeing it on TV...we DVR everything...so I see very few commercials!!

Sandra....you have been really plugging along to catch up on your posting!! YOU GO GIRL....I didn't realize that you were a designer...DUH..look at the BLINKIES!! I will have to go check out your stuff!! I bet it's all FANTABULOUS!! Hope you get a lot done today!!

@hondachicc: I always read about painting, what do you paint, can I see something, maybe on a blog. Painting is such a great things, I started years ago with oil and love it, but i had to stop when I was pregnant because of the chemicals in those things, hated how it smells and now I cant do it because of Amelie, Im so glad when we will have a garden, so I can grab my paint things out of the cellar. What are you painting? landscape, abstract, portraits or any other thing, sry Im so curious.
oh ups driver - i dont like them very much, they always knock so early at my door :grin: Michael is administrator and informaticer not much better, okay he is staying in the house, but not very good for his eyes, he needs glasses and maybe it will get worth.

Driving to my mom wont be so funny, if this heat will still be here, but there it will be great for sure. working while your children were growing up - I always think the same, I always think I spend to much time in front of the internet or with scraping or anything, instead of playing with my daughter the whole day, not sure if I should do that, she would love it, im sure, hmm

The sun is shining here and it looks to be another beautiful day. I'll be in the garden, again, and have some design work to finish up since my grand opening of my new store is tomorrow!
The micro brew was fun last night. They have, this will sound wierd, a blueberry beer that is really quite interesting and good. We did sample glasses of several. Not sure I could drink a big mug of the blueberry stuff?

Sandra - good luck with the job! I'll echo what others have said - glad you are out of the last place. I don't think I could do that either.

Cornelia - Welcome to the O. I loe to read your posts! It reminds me of my host brother when I visited Moldova several years ago. Hope you have a good trip to Austria, what beautiful country! I also hope the weather will be tolerable for you all!

Chris - I have thyroid problems too, have since 1997 or so. Thyroid regulates nearly the entire endocrine system so I could definitely see how Lyme and Thyroid together would create a mess!

Linda W - I need to scrape and prime and paint the trim on my garage - want to help?

Tali -hope the migraine is gone! It's too nice outside to be not feeling well!

Sara - the dark side? Is that where folks post at all ours of the night?

Hi there Cornelia! I am so glad your headache is gone. Amelie is such an adorable little peanut - I loved looking at your blog photos. Her earrings will be so adorable, I am sure. We pierced my daughter Ella's ears when she was 8 weeks old. It went very well. Have fun on your vacation!

Chris - Hey girl. This headache is so obnoxious. I had a migraine Friday - Sunday, and then it was gone yesterday but came back last night as I was getting ready for bed. Ugh. Oh well. Sadly I am so used to it that it isn't surprising. I'm so glad you are feeling better. What is up with your FF? Crazy!!!!

LindaP - Girl, which brewery do you go to? I have been wanting to do something like that for Eric - get him a brewery membership in Sioux Falls, but I'm not sure where. I hate beer so I wouldn't drink any. But, it sounds really fun. Oh - and I had a post partum thryoid thingie (love my medical terminology) after I had the boys. It went totally hyper on me. I lost a bundle of weight, a ton of hair, and my heart was so wonky. After some iodine testing and ultrasounds and meds it finally went away a year later. Ugh.

LindaW - You are a painting fool, girl! I bet it looks amazing. And I'm sure your dd loves you for it! It is actually cool here this morning - only 65. A big change from last week when it was 80 at 9 am!

Sandra - I hope you hear about the job soon!

@Tali: thanks, yes she is really cute, but can also be angry and mad and sometimes little bit silly. 8 weeks, wow so little baby girl, and I was scared if 5 month would be too early for earpiercing, because I got mine with 1 year.

Migraine is such a stupid things, thank god I never had that before, but I know it from my mother and my little brother, then they are not able to do anything the whole day. But I had also problems with such aches in my head, about 5 years ago, I had strong headache everyday, Mom brought me from one doctor to the other, but they were not able to find the problem and solve it. I hade this aches 3 years long, than suddenly, there was nothing anymore, really strange sometimes. But hope it will be better for you tomorrow.

@linda: hmm yes I should design too, but here in the house its much too hot, I would love to have a garden to sit there. I wanted to look at your designs or blog, but nothing worked, can you check that pls? Hope you get your designstuff done for the release tomorrow.

Hi everybody! I don't think I stopped by yesterday. We were very busy. I had to go to the clinic to have my blood drawn so that the pregnancy is official as far as the Army is concerned. I had to bring Jenny and Atha with me, and they did really well. I was kind of worried that Jenny would try to grab all the blood collection tubes with their colorful stoppers, but she didn't. Atha was just very curious about everything. She wanted to watch the whole process, and wasn't worried or queasy about the blood in the slightest.

Linda- Have fun painting. I missed it, are you painting the house, or artsy painting? I actually really like house painting, it gives such a feeling of accomplishment!

Corneila- It's great to meet you! Hope you have a great time in Austria. We had the opportunity to visit there, went to Salzburg. It was soooo beautiful! Where do you live in Germany? We lived in Ansbach for 1 1/2 years. I loved it there and would love to go back!

Chris- three cheers for feeling better!!! You SO deserve it, Woman! Make the best of it!

LindaP- mmmmmmmmicrobrew! I lived in Portland, OR for 10 years, and they had such delicious microbrews there! I miss it! Hope it was awesome!

Sandra- Still have my fingers crossed for your new job! Hey, housework by yourself- you can just BLAST the tunes and have fun dancing with your duster! Hee hee!

ohhhhh a Sanity day! I LOVE the sound of that!!

Okay...I'm here, finally!!

Omgosh!! I had a busy weekend - surprise, surprise, but even better, my Monday was fantastic!!

Saturday, we had play(my niece's) after play(cora's and lillian's), and I had a wedding. Then Sunday, we had everyone over to swim after church, and I had another wedding to play. It was a full weekend!!

I've decided I'm officially having a mid-life excitement!! instead of a crisis! So Yesterday I officially had my first voice lesson. I sing a lot and have ever since I was little. So i thought it was time to get this voice even better so when we (my band) releases its next album, the vocals were a bit warmer. The lesson was hard but really fun. It's fun to go to a professional after years of cello lessons and understand technique and practicing and just learning!! And after thinking that I had about an octave range, my teacher said I had a 3.5 octave range!! how fun is that????

So get this, in the evening, I took Emma to our first art lesson (well, her 5th...my first). We are taking a drawing class together. So another teacher...another class...and with this, I'm totally clueless!! I've never taken any art class whatsoever. But I had such a fantastic time. And the drawing teacher was sooo encouraging. She actually said I could draw!!! LOL!!!

Amidst all of that, I got my kids to write their thesis statements for their compare/contrast essay (where you take two things and write about what is the same and what is different!) and they did their outlines while I took a 20 minute nap!! omgosh, it was a perfect day!!

Today, i'm cleaning up for the maids! Doing laundry (I know...you are shocked!!) cause Mr Gorgeous is on a two day trip to CA to do a big presentation tomorrow. Even though the two founders of the company will be there, he has to present, because he's the only one the Project manager will trust!! So off on a plane he is right now! i can handle one day...I may even cook dinner!! LOL!!

okay...gotta make multiple posts!! I'm way behind on my goal!!

You are sooo fun!! love to read your posts...I have three girls and a boy, so i remember those little baby girlies to be sooo precious!! even when throwing tantrums!! My sister and brotherinlaw lived in Tribuswinkel outside of Vienna for 5 years or so...We visited them, and it was all gorgeous!! that's as close to Germany as I've come. Ohhh Sandra!! You enjoy this week of leisurely cleaning!! I have another hour or so...*sigh* LOL!! And I should have warned you about the collection industry. My sil's ex was a collector and mr gorgeous joined up with him (meeting him at church, he was very charasmatic and had so much charm...that's all I'll say right now) in an online collections business that went bust because the ex was really a shiester (dont' know how to spell that word!!) and pulled the wool over everyone's eyes. Then Mr Gorgeous' uncle went to work for an collections agency and there was such a lack of integrity, he had to leave pretty quickly. It was all a big mess...I could go on, but you've been there and I'm sooooo glad you are out of there!!!!!! praying that your new job is such an abundant blessing that you love love love it!!

Good morning everyone!! I am home with Ethan again today. He is on day 3 of fevers. I don't know what is wrong with him. I got him an appointment with the nurse practitioner today. Hopefully we'll be able to work it out. I am waiting to hear from my husband to see if he can take him because I have my allergy testing today. Missing so much work, having a sick kid, scheduling issues and all that is stressing me out a bit. The clinic I work at is where I am taking Ethan for his appointment and they are swamped. I was worried they wouldn't be able to get him in. Then when they got him in it is of course about the same time as my appointment. I cannot wait to be able to take some allegra today. I haven't been able to take any since last week. When getting the allergy testing you have to get the antihistamines out of your body, so I have been sneezing like crazy and have had some really itchy eyes.

So, the O's are nice and busy today. Rock on!! Good thing I have some extra time to give out some love.

Cornelia - Of course you can start the Daily's. I checked out your blog and your daughter is so cute. What a cutie pie. So, I was telling you about Landstuhl...it is near Kaiserslautern...north west of Stuttgart. They have a large hospital there at the military base and my husband has to work in a hospital so that is the only place in Europe that we could go. We're not going anywhere for a little while but if we went there I would definately be okay with that. If you don't remember our names it is okay. It can be a bit difficult sometimes. Enjoy your vacation. I have to wait a long while before I get some good vacation in.

Chris - I hope the abx start really helping. It stinks that it put you in a funk first. Hopefully it is one of those things where it has to get worse to get better and we will start hearing about how great you are doing soon. I hope you get some thyroid answers. I never really realized how much the thyroid does in our body until the past few years. I hope you are able to get it all regulated. I'm glad the sliders were a hit.

Sandra - Enjoy y our time off. I wondered how you were going to like working in collections and I am glad to know I was right in my assessment that it wasn't your thing. I just can't imagine it being something you would be good at. You have to be able to cut off your emotions a bit to do that job. I hope you hear about the other job soon. The stress of waiting on emplyment is so annoying.

LindaW - have fun painting. I'm glad you enjoy it. I hate painting...well, I don't hate it, I just get bored of it so fast. I hope your dh has AC in his truck. How long has he been working as a driver? I have a girl who comes in for x-rays all the time that is a driver. It can't be easy on your body. I hope he finds a way to stay cool.

LindaP - I am excited to see your design stuff. Make sure to let us know where it will be so that we can check it out. That blueberry beer sounds like something I would drink. I forget that not everybody lives in the land of micro brews. They are almost like Starbucks around here. My dh doesn't drink anything but. Have fun in the garden.

Tali - I hope that headache goes away. I can't imagine that being the norm.

Sara - have fun working? Are you sure you start this week?? lol!

Andrea - I didn't realize you were a military spouse too. Where are you guys stationed at? How long have you guys been in? We are at Ft. Lewis and have been in for 14 years. Blech. DH was talking about getting out this year but now I think he's going to go ahead and retire. he's been getting out for 10 years though. We'll see what happens.

Sally - as usual you are going a mile a minute. How fun to be doing all those classes. I'm glad you are enjoying them. A mid-life excitement, huh?? Sounds like a much better way to go then a crisis, that's for sure. I'm glad YMG will not be gone long. I know how much you hate him being gone.

Lol clara, I think a weekend is no vacation, im sure it will be stressy, traveling there and then staying everyday with my whole family, there are lots of quarrels then, not really amazing. Holiday is for me a country abroad from germany or austria, but have only been to, italy, malta, czech republic and hungary, so thats not much and not very far away from my homecountry. But next year there will be our first real vacation, we will go to denmark or sweden something like that, should not be too hot for Amelie.
