LOL at myself- so sorry again for screwing up the date.
You all know I do it often enough....:p

So here it is the "real" Wed, happy hump day!
We have had a couple of really nice days in a row- yesterday I did go tot the garden center. I had $40 in GC's and I spent $39 and change- got $.48 back -- good shopping. I spent the afternoon outside putting the impatiens into pots and baskets. I also finally got my morning glory seeds in the ground.

Today I am off to work on my MIL's gardens. I hope to bring some extra perennials home with me :)

Ona- Sorry to add to the time zone and date confusion LOL But don't let that keep you away from the Ooo's! So glad to have you post with us, no matter what the time or day it is :)

Dawn- glad that you checked out DSI- it hasn't been updated in a while, most of the info relates to Photo Manager 10, but all of the organization stuff can be applied to most of the versions. If you need any help, please holler!
(and hey! Don't blame me you believed my dates! You know better than to trust me on that!:p)

ME- I have so much laundry too- Caitlyn thinks that 3-4 outfits a day is about right... she seems to be a Diva in Training. I don't know where she gets it from, not me!
Have you tried a McCafe yet? I am not big on fancy coffee, but they do look good. But on the other hnad, my Mc D's can't get a Happy meal order right- ever- they always forget something. How can you forget fries in a Happy Meal?? or the Nuggets??

Sandra- I hope that your weather is as gorgeous as it is supposed to be here today. Student led conferences- that sounds really interesting, can you tell us more about it?

LindaW-- I am with everyone else- you do not look like you should have grand kids! Good to see I have another partner in wackiness :D

Clara-- good for you for writing that awesome reply. I hope that people out there take the time to read it and look at all of the diferent sides and angles.
If you guys like Rabbids, you have to get the second one (can't think of the name... but it is hysterical!)

Sally- did you make it out from your moms yet? LOL I am still thuinkign good thoughts and prayers for Layla. Great news on a recovery!

Hugs to you all~~~~~~~~

Hello My Sweet Friends!!!:D

What a gorgeous day out today!! I ended keeping my little man overnight and he's skipping preshcool again today...his aunt and cousins are coming over and we are headed to Pump-It-Up....if you don't have those around...it's a big warehouse full of those huge blowup slides and jumping rings...the kids love it...and for $5 each...they play for 2 hrs...and have a blast...and the adults get in for and get to jump too...and YES I jump with them...I LOVE IT!!! I need to be doing so many other things...I am way behind on the yard work..due the weather...and my spring cleaning...due to...?????....I will think of a reason later..HA! But I NEVER turn down time with my kiddos and grand-kiddos!! For me...sometimes that is Every day in a week!! May next week I will get some work done...my DH is on vacation....he has many plans in place for working us silly!! WE WILL SEE!!

Ona and Dawn - THE CHECKS IN THE MAIL!! LOL...I am way past 20 something...I have 3.5 grandchildren...You are very sweet...and I think it's just the O-page...everyone here appears to look absolutely FABULOUS!!

Dawn - I know that anything to do with scrapping is addictive...I started digi scrapping right after Christmas...My Laptop has never logged so many hours!! and I already feel like I can't wait to see whats going on in here.

Sally - so happy that your sweet little friend, Layla, got through her surgery ok...I will keep praying for her and hopefully she will make a speedy recovery!!

Clara - Your story about Poca just tugs at my heart!! I am praying for her too...I know here that there are many people who are in the foster parenting system for the money..our state pays WELL...and if you adopt, you get even more!! and with the attention to the story...people who feel sorry for them...well, they may send a donation or two...probably should think the worst...but I have to wonder!!

Chris - I will drop a note at our Mickey D's and have them send management to straighten yours out...they did ours...fast and efficient...love it! and BTW...if you feel like it...when you get all that beautiful yardwork done...head on my way!! I am having the worst time getting started on my yard this year!! shhhh..but I think it might be this new addiction I have picked up (scrapping)!!

Sandra - Have fun at the zoo!!!

Off to go jump...after breakfast and several cups of coffee for energy!! Have a great day!!

Just a quick hellooO from me this morning, I have to leave at least on time so I can talk to the boss, ugh.

LindaW-jumping sounds like fun! I've never seen a place like that but I could definitely jump right along.

Chris-I was kinda hoping today would be 'Thursday' so I could pretend tomorrow is Friday LOL.

Everyone, I will be back later this evening! I hope you all have a fab day! oooh, and hope I come home to some news about Jos :).

(((hugs))) to everyone!

Hi all, a busy day today so I am zooming by and just saying hi. Hey, I made a rhyme.

Love to you all!!

Hey ladies!!! I miss all of you! I have been so busy, and the rest of this month will be the same. Ella has dance class twice a week until her recital at the end of the month. We have had a lot of appointments and I have my eye appointment with the keratoconus specialist next week.

My mom has been very sick. She has been pretty much bedridden since May 2nd, and she is such an active, outdoorsy person that this is freaking me out. She has even stayed home from work, which is SO unlike her. They said she had a severe sinus infection at first and then it progressed into pneumonia over the weekend. I just wish they had admitted her. She is dehydrated and in severe pain from constant headaches. Ugh.

Let's see, what else? I got all my flowers and veggies planted! YES! And I'm working on space for another rose bush.

Jos - I am hoping for an update on Facebook that this baby has made its appearance! :) Good luck sweetie!

Hugs and love to all!

Good morning ladies. Things here on the left coast are good. The weather isn't great but pretty decent. Overcast but not raining. I thought for sure we were going to get rain last night but it never came. So, tomorrow is the big day for my sister's case. It will be on The Today Show. They finally got an interview from the governor and my sister had to spend all day creating a time line of the case instead of doing her job, along with 2 other people. It took them all day. I am so glad to hear that 3 people were not able to do their job yesterday because of this crap. The request was directly from the governor. I do not like the governor here at all but I am glad she hasn't commented on the case. The local media kept making comments about how she wasn't commenting and stuff, like the governor knows about every case with DSHS. It is ridiculous. So we'll see what they say about it. I hope the national media gets a more complete story than the local news. Ona - people here get pretty decent money for foster kids here too, until they adopt, then the money stops. Which is probably why they gave their adopted kid away who was eventually taken by the state and sent someplace else and readopted. How horrible for that kid...at the age of six is pretty much told "we thought we wanted you but you were just a little more work than we had hoped for, even though we had a trial run when you were a foster kid. So go to this farm and stay out of our way so we can fight for the new model baby girl we got instead." Okay, so that is definately my take on it, but how else can you take it. they didn't work so hard to save him even though he supposedly had the same problems as this little girl. So, if any of you watch the Today show, and see the story let me know your thoughts about it.

I just sent a message to Genevieve on the CT site and so hopefully she'll see it and let us know what is going on with Joslyn. I figure she's either having that baby or hiding out so we don't harass her about being on here instead of having that baby. :)

I meant to get coffee yesterday but forgot and I think to day is definately a coffee day. I have been getting iced and blended coffees lately since they have less milk in them and therefore less calories. I was up late last night. I finally got all of my O-stash in order in the organizer. Yay!! Genevieve's stuff took me forever because I did some extra organizing since I have so much extra stuff from her comparatively being on her CT. I am hoping to be on another CT (hint hint if the designer is reading this-I really want to be on your team) but I don't have as much of her stuff yet so it will be easier to get it organized. I have it organized by color, designer, kit, product and sometimes theme. Plus I found out that you can organize templates and see what they look like as a psd file. I am SUPER excited about that since I am on a CT just for the templates and I have hundreds of templates from being on that team. So it is nice to be able to see them and grab them so easily. Yay!!

Well, I need to head off of here to get my dishes done, since I do the unloading in the morning before work. I'll give some individual love real quick and then I am off...

Chris - I wish you lived near me and we could go shopping together. I am the worst bargain shopper. I used to be awesome but i got lazy. You could sit in the cart or ride one of the little carts around and I'd load up the cart. It would work perfect. I would never be able to spend $0.58 less than a gc. I always spend over. I'm glad your gardens are getting in order. Oh, I had a random thought this morning too. Did you send a letter to your local hospital explaining your situation to see if they have any special programs to get some of your "deemed unnecessary" treatment taken care of?? Just a random thought.

Sandra - Have fun at the zoo. I'm interested in your student led conferences explanation too. It sounds interesting.

LindaW - aren't those bounce places the best. we have a great one near me too called Charlie's safari. I love taking the kids there. We had a smaller one before this one opened up that was a 2-hour block type of thing. this place is bigger and includes mini-golf, a play structure, arcade and laser tag. It is awesome. It keeps us busy forever. i'm glad you got to spend some fun time with the grandbaby. I know my parents and my kids love the time they spend together too. I hope your dh doesn't work you too hard next week.

Dawn - Good luck at work today. I hope the chat with the boss goes well. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Hi ME!!

Tali - Your poor mom. I hope she feels better soon. That's too bad they didn't admit her. She'll be in my prayers.

Oh, that reminded me...I got a message on FB yesterday that a friend of mine has the Pig Disease (aka swine flu). I didn't know if she was exaggerating or if she really got it. She's one of those people that either exaggerates or has the worst possible things happen to her. I talked to her last night and it sounds like she's really really sick. She went to the dr too late and couldn't get the antivirus so she just has to wait it out. It sounds like she's getting better so I'll keep my fingers crossed for her. I was wondering why she didn't call me this weekend. she wanted to hang out. This is the same girl I told you guys about so long ago that fell and broke her face at my parents' house. Like I said, either exaggerates or has the very worst things happen to her.

Have a great day everyone.

i love it...the real wednesday!!

quick hi...not really in the greatest of moods, but i'm trying to change it. sometimes i forget that homeschooling is THE choice we made for the kids, not to punish me! LOL!!!!!! I just wish that when i'm not at the top of my game, they could be...but it never works that way, does it???

anyway, we are knee deep in camping preparations. we leave tomorrow afternoon for three days, two nights in a texas state park about an hour from us. And we are going with our best friends and their families, so it's going to be LOADS of fun. (if we make it!!) mr gorgeous doesn't come home from CA until friday noon, so the 5 of us are on our own until he gets there...should prove to be interesting!! LOL!!!

i soooo appreciate your prayers for little Layla...the parents were told that with the cancer as bad as it is, she has about a 30% chance of surviving. tough tough odds, but we are still standing on faith that she WILL be in that 30%!! keep praying, please!!

hugs to everyone...i'm off to the grocery store soon!
love you all!!

good afternoon! we're back from the zoo, and it was a great day! we had an awesome time... it's nice that the zoo is small... we got to see every exhibit that was open... I got to see lots of turtles (I LOVE turtles), and we saw penguins, and bald eagles nesting... it was a fabulous day! And NO RAIN! YAY!

Student led conferences are your standard parent-teacher conferences, but instead of the teacher holding the conference, the students do the conference on their own following a structured guideline... they practice prior to the actual conference so that they can explain things on their own... the teacher puts things on a slide for the overhead projector so we can read things too and she assists the children as needed... Will is doing really well... for his reading to be on-grade level he needed a DRA of 20 - he had a DRA of 38... for his MST (math scoring) he needed an 80% - he had 98%... for the PAS (Predictive Assessment Series - the score that gives an indication how he would do on the standardized school testing program) he received a distinguished score which is the highest... so overall he's reading and math are well above a second grade level and he's only a first grader!

Chris & Clara - hope that explained everything!

Cora - I thought of you today when we saw the ocelot exhibit... there was only 1 that I know of because it's a small zoo, but it was totally cute :)

Okay... gotta figure out dinner... later taters!

Thursday morning: 8.40am
Hi guys! well it's Thursday morning here and I am at work. It's a glorious autumn morning, the sun is shining and has that crisp cool feeling to it...........I absolutely love autumn and apart from the frosty mornings I love our winters here as well. LOL! When I say frosty.....for me it means like 3 - 4 degrees (that's around 20 degrees fahrenheit for you guys)! Most of our winter days get to around 18-19 degress celsius (approx 66 degress for you). and thats for up here in the northern part of Australia............over to west and down south they get snow so they have a 'proper' winter!

LindaW - the bouncy park sound like fun! I have 7 grandchildren and while they would LOVE it I don't think I could handle it!!
Dawn - good luck with your 'news' at work.
Clara - Hope things settle down for you and your sister soon.
Sandra - Haven't been to a zoo in years! Over here there is a fabulous zoo out west at a place called Dubbo........its acres and acres of animals! where they try to replicate the animal's real life environment, really well done.
Sally - have fun on your camping trip, sounds like you are going to have a blast!!
Chris - I used to have a garden until digiscrapping took over my life!! whenever I go out to the kitchen to grab a cuppa I stare at my neglected garden and promise that I will go out do some............but it doesn't eventuate!! :)
Jos - wonderful news on the birth of your new little boy Chase, warm wishes to all.

Well I'd best get some work done......goodnight ladies, hope you all have a good nights sleep! xx

Sandra - Yes!! They are soooo adorable!! we only have one @ our zoo too but it never seems to be out when we are there! haha!!

Hey everyone! JUst passing thru....hope everyone had a great Humpday! Thanks for thinking of me Dawn!!! Im here..just, you know...life going on! lol. Hope everyone is well!!!!!
