Yes, I'm up again.......at 4am. Guess I'm a little upset over my SIL and worried about Davy's appt today.

Sandra-great news about the pup's check up .

Sara-What are you doing in Chicago, guess I missed that?! Be sure to go to Bloomies, I've never been, so you can tell us all about it LOL. Actually, I've never been to Chicago either...hmm. I'm in need of some serious retail therapy one day...there's a train about an hour away that I could catch that goes back and forth to Chicago much quicker than by car, it's about a 6 hr drive for us. Perhaps one day .

LindaW-can't wait to hear all about your trip. Hope you got some rest last night!

MaryEllen-ice cream truck...man, that brings back some memories. I loooove Bomb Pops, that's the first time I ever had one...from an ice cream truck.

Sally-I am soooo happy I am not in Texas right now...100 degrees and dry! Yuck. I hope you get some rain soon!

LindaP-maybe I'll have some Davy stories after his experience at the vet today. I am soooo worried about leaving him there and about how he'll feel after. Rabbits can't vomit so I hope he doesn't feel bad. He's so little that I can't imagine anesthesia..but really, I guess he's about the same size Sassy was when she had her surgery. I'm way more worried about him though. I hope your day is awesome .

Clare-hope the car shopping went well. Did you pick anything out yet?

Clara-soooo sweet about Ethan and Addie...just awwwww!

Good Morning Ladies!!

Yeah, I am up a little early...I could have slept on...But little man is on his way...I have him everyday now, he's not going back to daycare. Well, we definately packed a lot into a few days!! We headed over the mountain to Cherokee to see the Indian nation. They have loads of things going on. We saw and learned about the bears. We watched how they make all of their own clothing, shoes, clothes, jewelry. And we saw a renactment of battle between the Indians and the Soldiers. We went to the Ripleys Aquarium. That was very cool...except Cameran got scared when we went into the tunnel where you have fish all around you and the sharks and swordfish swim over your head. I am including a picture of one of the fish...I thouht it was cool. If you have aquariums you may know or have seen these before...but it looks like an American flag! Should have had this for last week's challenge. Then we had the two day pass to Dollywood..so after the aquarium, we headed over there for about 5 hours and then for 9 hours the next day. We managed to squeeze in the Magicfest, a new attraction in Pigeon Forge. It has several different shows and really cool exhibits of different things that kids do hands on. The drive home yesterday was miserable for me, because I was so tired. Needless to say, I have a lot of cleaning and washing to do today. I tried to read through all the daily O's, but wow, they were extremely busy while I was away...I will finish up today and do my personals this evening..Hope you all have a FAB FRIDAY!!

I can't say or do anything to make you feel better, but know that I am thinking of you, SIL and little Davy. He is going to be just fine!! And calm (well, maybe a little!)

Yesterday was a good day to be shopping instead of swimming. It was cold! 70*! I didn't find anything for me- I got back about $55 in Kohls GC's but their big sale was starting today. I don't really need anything either... maybe in the fall.
My mom got a bathing suit for Caitlyn and sneakers for Scott- they are growing so damn fast!
When I got home, poor Gary was throwing up... from 4 til 8, then he slept 8-9, then again up at 11 and 1... I don't know how he can stand it And then i worry b/c he is diabetic and if he can eat, he gets low sugar... Iy yi yiiiii!
I am working at MIL's today so I hope that Scott will be able to keep an eye on him. I hate thinking like that but my kids have been through so much with him, it is like they know the routine.

Last week, his sugar went really low (like 30!) and i was asleep. They knew exactly what to do- how to help him test, get juice, Cait gets a cold cloth for the back of his neck.... and i slept through all of it. But I guess they didn't need me.
Is that good or bad?
I feel so bad for them sometimes. I hope that they can grow up thinking that they had a relatively normal childhood.

Boy- I am pensive today!

Hi LindaW! Just reading that made me want to go back to bed! But I bet it was fun and exhilarating as well. It sounds like you and YMG and Cameran had a BLAST!! So special, I love it!
I have never been in one of those tube aquariums but I think it would freak me out a bit too

Sandra- good to hear that the puppies are all good! Have fun feeding them separate Harley is so bad with that- she eats Ravyn's food, the cats' food, opens the cabinet door to get into the garbage-- no wonder she is so fat!And no matter how I try to feed the others away from her, she somehow gets into it all.
Just throwing out some thoughts- does your state have low cost neutering? We were able to get the cat's and Harley done through a low cost program. That helped a lot. And my town does a free rabies clinic every year for dogs and cats. I take the dogs to that - not the cats b/c they are not licensed (shhh, don't tell LOL).

Sally- you seem to be doing so much fun stuff this summer! So lucky! And YMG should be on his way home soon, yay!! ROTF about the ice cream truck monitor too true! Our Ice Cram truck comes by at 5pm right before we sit down for dinner. Too early- if he came by a bit later... well...I guess I still wouldn't spend $3 on an ice cream bar LOL

ME- that is really cute about Christian You are so lucky to be hitting the 80's. But seriously, the low humidity is really nice!

CLara- LOL at the coffee/bikinis But seriously, how can you give up coffee? Yikes, that is one thing I could never do!!! Ethan is such a sweetie- love how caring he was to Addie. I love when my kids are nice to each other too

And yes, our summers in NJ are usually HHH (hazy, hot and humid) we avg about 85* and 80-90% humidity in July so this is really weird.
(I keep having to tell my non-tree huggers that it is *not* called Global Warming, but global *Climate Change* LOLOL!!)

DawnV Hope that you are having an awesome time camping- just don't tie a dead G-ma (like in Vacation ) on the roof!

Kat feel better!! Do you have any whole cloves? Bite down on one of them the clove oil is supposed to work really good on tooth pain. Or if you just happen to have clove bud essential oil, you can apply that to the tooth with a Q- tip, but most people don't happen to have that hanging around.

jump in to say hi to all, busy day today and yes my computer is working again, but still needs some programs to install, but yeah I can scrap again
@clara: no its not a new one, is only one year old but was stupid working

today I did full house cleaning, Amelie was so quiet while I was cleaning with the vacuum cleaner, she looked a little bit scared the whole time
now I took her to bed, she needs some sleep
have to wait now for a worker to take a look how many we heated with our radiator

so off again, maybe see you later in the evening, coz have to got to town too, looking for a present for michaels birthday.

Chris - I love Kohl's, but they are so enabling with their Kohl's cash and constant grand opening sales. I never have a problem finding good deals there.

good morning! I actually slept until 7:20 a.m. this morning... I've been up at 6:45 every morning this week... not a whole lot longer but later than usual... I am THRILLED to have my kids coming home today! They'll be here later this afternoon about dinnertime! I've missed them soooo much!

Not much going on around here today... just hanging out and enjoying the quiet and getting ready for Rascal Flatts on the Today show this morning... yesterday was a hanging out day too once I got the dogs home from the vet... and I actually got to scrap! I haven't bought any scrappin' supplies lately, but yesterday I picked up Kristin's Pond Play which I scrapped with, and Joanne's Centerpieces Vol. I... Gabe took some beautiful pictures of the lake and the park, so I'm hoping to scrap some today too!

Dawn - I'm glad the puppies were okay too...

Chris - yeah, Darwin is the worst... plus him being overweight can lead to health problems related to the breed itself... so getting him thinned down is extremely important... there's a low cost spay/neuter clinic close to my work... I'll drop Bailey off on my way on Thursday, and pick her up on my way home... I'm not sure about the rabies, but I know the clinic does them... that's when Darwin's was done last year... my dogs aren't licensed either lol... I need to get that done... shhhhh...

Hey ladies.
Still feeling... 8 weeks pregnant, I guess. I was doing fine, then I ate a bunch of really delicious and fresh vegetable soup I made, and it didn't work out for me. Weird. This malaise could not have hit at a worse time. I have Wives of Warriors at Church tomorrow, and I'm supposed to bring a snack. Barf. LOL And then on Monday, Mom and my son get here! Gah! The place is basically clean, but.. you know. It's my mom. And I haven't seen her since... how long? A couple of years, I think. And I was going to clean the carpet, but I don't have a full size carpet cleaner, just a spot cleaner, so I don't know now. Whatever.

Got a text from my Sister in Law, she says that my nepphew who got heart surgery is home and acting like nothing every happened! So that's good news!



Anyway, some quickies.

LindaW- awesome patriotic fish! Sounds like you are having so me fun with your little fella.

Hello my "O" Family!

Well I have finally been able to break from cleaning for Nick's b-day party tomorrow - it's only 2:30 pm..hahahaha Getting ready to make a cheesecake and then do a few more odds and ends. His friends are all coming so that's fabulous He's super excited! It'll all be worth it to see his smile!

Tooth....OYE!! It seems my root was exposed...and let me tell you that it was unbearable! It was horrible in the morning...went to dentist at 10:30am they sealed the tooth and had to go back again at 12 noon to have it re-sealed because it wasn't enough! Ouchie! My tooth was just not going to be easy. Seems to be doing okay so far today! Fingers crossed!

Dawn (((hugs))) I am so sorry to hear about your SIL! How is your husband doing?

Linda - wow sounds like you are doing so many fun things! Awww what a cute fish! Never saw one of theose before!

Good afternoon ladies. It looks like there are so many new ladies on here that I need to introduce myself.

I'm Linda S. I have a 5 year old and a 6 year old that you'll see in most of my layouts. If it's not one of them, it's one of my nieces or nephews. I've been on vacation since last Friday and I'm finally feeling rested. So, while I'm feeling that way, I'm going to get back into the scrapping groove.

Good morning everyone. I am so sleepy this morning. I want to go to sleep. I stayed up way to late last night doing some uploading...but I have some cute pics on FB now from last weekend. Some great naked baby in the hammock pics. They crack me up.

Wow!! I started writing this like two hours ago. So, I am going to just say hi again real quick and then do some personals real quick. I hope everyone has some fun plans for this weekend. I'll be getting things together for a garage sale.

Jenna and I headed into town right away this morning to get my truck serviced and yell at the cell phone people. This phone that jenna has has been nothing but troubles. This is their last chance to get things right. The sales guy even said that if it wasn't working better this weekend they would get a new phone for her! Yay. It keeps shutting off on her and doesn't allow calls in our out or texts half the time. Not much use as a phone to my thinking!
Mr. Wonderful, Jenna and Tori are on the road on the way to Fargo to go to the Greenday concert tonight. So I have solitude at home. Complete control of the remote. I hope there are good shows or movies on tonight!
I just finished spraying roundup to kill weeds outside. Hopefully it will dry up enough to mow tomorrow afternoon.

Chris - I am glad you had a great shopping trip yesterday. Too bad you didn't find anything for you. New stuff is always fun, even if it is only some new panties or something. That really stinks that Gary is so sick. I think it is great that the kids can help when all of you are sick. I think it shows how much you all care about each other and that your kids can be responsible for people besides themselves, ya know? Thanks for reading my rant. I just hate the whole situation. It will all be irrelevant soon...I'm just frustrated for now. It is so nice to have a place to just rant...whether it gets read or not. It makes it so I can basically set it down and let go of it for a bit.

Cornelia - I hope the computer is in working order by now. That makes me crazy being without my computer. That is so funny how Amelie reacted to the vaccuum. Some kids fall asleep to it.

Really quick one from me right now...I gotta take a nap, got a bad headache coming on ...all the heat and stress getting to me I guess.

So, here's the best Davy story yet....He was sooo mad at me that he couldn't eat last night, I mean, seriously pissed LOL. Rattling the cage, banging around all night. I wouldn't have slept well anyway, but, sheesh . So this morning...get the carrier all ready, put him in it which is no biggie he thinks it is just somewhere to play. I even packed him a little ziploc full of food so he could eat a little after he woke from his procedure. I took him right at 8am to the vet...I hated leaving him there..I almost cried. So.....about 10:15 Amanda calls me at work, sounded like she was crying....I'm like what's wrong?! Turns out she wasn't crying....she was laughing hysterically...............the vet had called her since I was at work. Said we would have to reschedule Davy's procedure. He had put him to sleep.......turned him over........and...............then had to go to the internet to be sure.....(no rabbit savvy vets around here).........turns out that pink layout I did recently was dead-on.........................................

Davy is a girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO apparently when she has been humping my leg and acting crazed it was for the same reason but in a different way hahahaha. So, since March the poor thing has been "mommy's little boy".
The vet said that until he...I mean she(gonna take some getting used to) was out he couldn't tell for sure since male's parts tend to draw up inside when they get stressed. Well, I kinda wondered why HE had nipples(male rabbits don't) but thought maybe I had a 'defective' rabbit LOL. So it cost me $25.00 to find out he is a she. I will have to get her fixed though since female rabbits have high cancer rates of their reproductive systems.

Andrea - I can't believe veggie soup made you sick. That is what usually helps people to feel better. I hope you enjoy your mom's visit. I can't imagine not seeing my mom for years. I say buy a snack for the church group tomorrow. I'm sure nobody would judge you for that. Cookies are always a hit and not too expensive.

Kat - I am so glad your tooth is feeling better. I'm never had major tooth ache but I know I will one of these days because I have a cracked toothe that will one day get angry. I need to get it crowned ahead of time but I'm sure I will put it off as long as possible. Enjoy your party. I hope your house stays clean afterward. I always get the house all sparkly clean and then it becomes a pit by the time everyone leaves.

LindaP - Enjoy the alone TV time. That is hard to come by. DH is always on the tv before me and is watching stupid stuff. One of the shows alone may not be stupid but the sheer volume makes them LAME!!! I hope you get the phone situation worked out. Cell phones are such a pain sometimes when they are supposed to be convenient.

Everyone seems to be so busy, love reading about what you are all up to! Its Saturday morning here downunder and I HAVE to clean this house this morning!! DH is up the back with the excavator, taking out some trees (sorry Chris but these had to go, they are very large gum trees which if they fell could cause some serious probs. like flattening our house! After all the rain erosion etc that we had the soil had pretty much all disappeared so nothing was really holding them there. It has only just gotten dry enough for DH to take the machinery up there!

Anyway, gotta run and get some stuff done so hope you all have a great Friday night, and will catch up again with you all soon. Nighty night girls!!! oxoxox
