Good morning my O-Fam! Happy Monday to you all!!!! (yeah, except for Ona, she has to be special.... Happy Tuesday dear!! xoxox)

Did y'all have a good weekend?? I hope so. My was a bang up time, lemme tell ya! Cripes..... I didn't know what to do, how do do it, or why I even wanted to! :D

Its all good, tho. Today is a new day- and a new week.

I am off to work at MIL's - as long as the sun is shining, I'll probably get to spend the morning in the gardens -- Yay!

Clara...yay...Ethan is home!! I know you missed him!! and I am happy to see you did not melt away!! It has been unseasonable cooler than usual here (the last several days)...but we have had some really ferocious thunderstorms the last few nights!! Good luck with your yardsale next week!!

DAWN!!! Hi girlfriend!!! Movie sounds FAB!!! although I don't care for the horror movies....but I do watch them sometimes with my step daughters...they all love them!!! I am a ACTION girl!! Love high drama/action flicks!! Guns...fights....and a BAD A$$ HERO (preferably one that is HOT!!!)

We never made it out for Super Soakers yesterday...didn't get hot enough, and very cloudy...so we played inside...and OMG...did those boys destroy the house! WOW!! I usually make them pick up and clean up as they go...but Oh Well....they had a blast!! DH helped me yesterday evening....things were still somewhat out of order from last weekend! I like for all the toys to be organized....I have containers and buckets for everything...and each one has certain toys....they tend to play with them much better because they can find everything. Plus I can store a lot of it under their bed...should have been this organized with my own kids!! LOL!!

Morning, morning! =)

I'm getting prepared for the day. Ben's still sleeping, so I might try to slip in a quick workout before he gets up. Then I am just going to run some errands and come back this afternoon and try to clean up a little. If we ever want to move, the house needs to be cleaned OUT. Big time. =)

Sandra - Glad the stitches are out. Hope Matty's feeling better today. If it works anything like what happens with us, you took him to the pediatrician and paid for the copay, then he immediately started feeling better. =) At least, I hope it works out that way for you!

Clara - Sorry it's so hot!

OK....Ben actually got up now. So I better get moving and get ready and get him to day care.

Hi all, yes, I went MIA again. :-) Nothing big going on. Just stresses at work and poor bed-time routines. We're all healthy though. I'm worried about my Dad - he's had high blood pressure for as long as I can remember but it's gone up and he's going to see a specialist tomorrow to see what can be done. The meds his family dr. prescribed aren't doing the trick. Of course, if he lost weight and exercised, he wouldn't have to worry as much! Then there's my brother and SIL. They have the cutest little 9-month-old, but they've been struggling as a couple. On top of that, she works for the state of California, and with the budget cut-backs, who knows how long she'll have a job. They run the risk of being caught up in that whole "lay-offs, can't afford the house" thing. Ugh. Prayers for them and my Dad would be super, if you have any to spare.

Although I haven't been in posting much, I do check out the Daily O's pretty frequently. Peace to y'all!

Hi everybody! A real quickie. I'm on my mother in law's computer, and it makes me nervous! LOL! I'm able to update my facebook status and upload a few pictures on it via my blackberry from time to time, but other than that I'm pretty cut off here at the In-law's house. Until today I hadn't really missed it, but FIL has Mr. Wonderful going through the attic for lost treasures (hope we don't bring home too much stuff... ) and I'm on my own.

Turns out I'm only an hour or so away from our own Christine (Miss Crow), but I'll never make it that far away on this trip. Too bad, I'd love to see her place. I'm sure it's full to the rafters with lovely things.

We're having a nice time for the most part. I'm taking lots of pictures, so that's nice. And hey, check it out, we sure are having a lot of GET TOGETHERS. Hmmmm, that reminds me of something. Doesn't somebody have an awesome new kit with that name? LOL. It's Merkee! Yay!

Good morning ladies!! My office is nice and cool but I am so tired. I did not sleep well because the fan kept blowing my hair and it tickled my face and it drove me nuts all night. I ended up with my pillow over my head but the air still managed to be annoying. I think tonight I will need to find a bandana or something because we can't not have the fan...it is way too hot for all that.

So, I checked out this weeks BOTCT challenge and it is soooooo hard this week. We have to use a number formula 10...9...all the way down...2...1. We all have to use the same formula. It will be hard, very hard.

I am soooo tired today. I want coffee really bad. I may have to give in and get some. I have a tiny bit of money that I can spend and I am really thinking a coffee would be so worth it. This budgeting thing is hard. I am going to make it work though. I have to. I can't have the stress of debt on me anymore. My dh is on board, which in itself is a miracle.

So, I was all proud of myself...my hair for the first time was natural. No dye in it at all. How cool, right? I had bought some dye last week (pre-budget) and had decided I probably wouldn't use it...then I found the gray hairs all over the back of my head. My hair has been dyed for so long I thought I didn't have any. Hahaha!! So, not the case. I have plenty. So last night I covered them up. Now my hair is nice and red. Not too red, just a nice reddish tint. I'm bummed. I just couldn't bring myself to not cover them up. Ugh!!

Well, I am off...let me love a litle first.

Chris - Yay for a new week. Did you find your mind?? I hope it wasn't gone for too long. I have had days like that too. I hope you start feeling better.

Hi Dawn!! Yay for Sattelite. I think I need to do the opposite and get everything set up on cable. What do you think of the BOTCT challenge this week? Eeeeek!!

LindaW - Don't you hate how the kids are so similar to a tornado? I try to keep the mess from piling so high too but that is almost as exhausting as just cleaning it up. I hope the cleaning fairies showed up and decided to clean the playroom while you were sleeping.

Sara - I understand about the house needing to be cleaned out. I've been trying to do that too. I'm not moving but it is still making me crazy...which is why we are having a garage sale. Enough is enough. I must end the mess!! Yeah right. The mess will never end.

Merkee - Your spotlight looks awesome. I can't wait to check it out.

Karen - I'll be praying for your family. It is good to see you here! I hope you find your way here more often.

Andrea - I'm glad you are having a good time at the IL's. That must be nice to not really be missingthe internet. It would make me pretty crazy. Lol!! Although I usually do better after a couple of days of being without. I am just generally so plugged in.
 
hey girlies...quick checkin while i'm at starbucks! It's pouring outside and beautiful!! I LOVE RAIN!!! especially in the middle of a drought! yay!!! so my older two kids have ROCK BAND CAMP and the other three of us (mr gorgeous is at the workplace this week - still in town, but away from the house - *sigh*) are gonna hang in this area of town for those two hours. i hope they can handle it this week! I have drawing to finish for my class this evening, so I'm off...Sooo glad I'm back!! Alaska was AMAZING!!!! I hope to be scrapping a little this week - I've got a card workshop on Thursday, so I'll be playing in the craft room with paper most of the week! :)

Hi girlies! so, I have been MIA in the Daily O's for a few days.......but, I have been posting in our Healthy O's! LOL......

I had a great weekend. Went out on date night with hubby Saturday and we tried this mexican food place in downtown SA that I went with my work but, hubby had never been. I thought...."hey, I will try something different"....so I got the Grilled Fish Tacos. Oh Em Gee......they were FABULOUS!!! I am so going to crave them now. AND.....not only were they very reasonably priced at $6.25 but, they were HEALTHY! Yay me! :p

After that we went to a bar back near our "hometown" and hung out with some friends for a 40th bday party. It was so much fun! I danced so much so, I think I got 2 workouts in that day.

But, of course I paid for it on Sunday and was in bed most of the day in pain. Oh well, I still want to live, kwim?

So, enough about me.......

Chris - Oh, how I would LOVE to have a garden. I just don't have the patience or make the time for it though and all my plants would die......I should at least try some herbs though. That would be cool. How have you been feeling lately? I was so sad when I read about your Lime Disease....I mean I knew you and DH had it but, I didn't realize that it was passed to your children. Poor things - all of you! I have been praying for your DH's disability to come through. Any news on that?

Dawn - Mickey D's....oh how I love Mickey D's......I wish it weren't so cheap to eat my fave there. I would eat there alot less. What did you have today?

LindaW - Ha Ha about the toys organization! You sound like me. I even organize our meds by cold/allergy, pain, sore throat, antibiotics, etc. I am an organize freak! And yes, woohoo for Merkee's spotlight! Those are some amazing prizes! She is da bomb!!!!

Sara - Did you get your workout in? Hope you did, you go girl!!!

Clara - sorry you had trouble sleeping...I can't sleep without a fan either tho so, I don't blame you. Maybe take a warm bath and have a glass of wine tonight before heading to bed. Maybe it will relax you and you can rest well, despite the annoying fan! Awww...don't worry about dyeing your hair....you know there are so very few naturals these days!

Sally - man am I out of the loop! Where did you go in Alaska? Can't wait to see some fab pictures! And boo hoo for starbucks......no fair !!!! I want some!!!

Hello ladies... it sounds like you all are keeping really busy :)

I'm finally getting things back to normal after being gone for so long and also finishing playing catch up online since I was pretty much unplugged for the whole 13 days! Boy it is amazing how much we do on the computers ! I'm glad for the break though as I'm excited to get back to creating.

My husband went back to work today after having 3 weeks off... he called and said his day is going pretty good for being gone so long. It was nice because he took a few extra days so when we came back from camping we could all get things settled... we took the kids to the zoo for the day and had a really wonderful time. They are getting to a really fun age for those types of things and I'm finding it is more fun as a parent too.

Today I'm just getting some more cleaning done... I really wish the laundry would go away but it keeps coming and coming ! I had to work on some business side of things and it felt really good to get all that stuff completed... now I look forward to doing some designing tonight as I have really missed it. It is good I took a break as I do feel refreshed...yay!

LindaS... I'm so sorry about your Aunt passing away from cancer at such a young age... it is so hard to lose someone so young like that... my heart goes out to you and your family.

Linda P.. thank you so much for sharing your story about Camping... I sure love the stars and sleeping out doors is such an amazing experience. I love all the wonderful memories it creates as a family. I liked how you all snuck out at night that made me smile. Oh I so need to go and purchase another EHD! I totally need the 1T this time as designing takes up so much space it is crazy! Just one of my paper files can be 1G! ... I really think I may go out and get one this week as I have been putting it off.

Dawn I'm so happy about the new kitty that is great news! Awesome about the new Satelite too and you crack me up about the Scary movies... Before I married my DH I was obsessed with Scary movies and love to watch them all the time... It was actually something my Father and I shared when growing up... well funny thing my DH can't watch them at all!! and so after 13 years of being around each other I now can't watch them anymore because the tottally freak me out now ! I think you get numb to it all when you watch them often, but if you don't eeeek!! The ones with the kids I totally can't watch now that I have little ones of my own... I tried to watch Saw a while back and was totally scared!

Linda W I LOVE Craigs list! You can find some amazing deals on it and I have used it often to sell things too! Best part is it is free... I'm happy to hear you found some great deals! Wooohooo!

Chris.. what a story of your Hot Topic visit ! Your DH's response really made me smile... it's nice to get that every now and then :) Sorry to hear the cat... that can be such a hard choice... sending a hug your way.

Sandra... Oh that is aweful about Matt... I hope he is feeling better today and getting on the road to a 100% really soon.

ClaraB. It sure has been hot here... I say Finally!! ! When the hot weather does show it's face we then don't know what to do with ourselves !! I took the boys to the spray park yesterday and that was a fun way to cool off.... hope that fan doesn't keep you up again.

Well off to get some things finished around here... I always feel better when I can get things done up to a certain level... makes being creative more relaxing. I also have to start getting my mind ready for my oldest to start Pre-School for his first time....eeekkk! I can't believe how fast time goes by...

NeeNee.... I went to out to one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants last night too and I LOVE the Grilled fish Tacos!! Yum.. they are the main thing we crave from there. They have an awesome Happy hour too which pretty much runs all day on Sunday. Oh I miss Dancing... sounds like you had a blast :)

DawnCW - There is a park in downtown Olympia...I know that is a ways from you ...but they have fountains that come up out of the ground. It is a lot of fun. I'll find the name of it...and I know they have some weird hours. It is a lot of fun though. Plus, something different.

LOL!! I DO THE EXACT SAME THING with my medicines!!! I have one of those little caddys with small drawers and wheels...each drawer has it's own type of meds in it and stays in the back of the linen closet!! My kitchen is pretty organized too...EXCEPT that ONE drawer that I know EVERYONE has!! NOTHING BUT JUNK!! and the cabinet with the plastic containers...I am so afraid to open the door!!! LOL!! As for the rest of my house...well...let's just say it's a work in progress!! Sounds like you had a great weekend!! but sorry it ended being in bed from pain...((HUGS)) I wish there was a cure!! Hang in there!! hopefully the docs can get you on a program to help!!

Sally, so glad to have you back. Because it's time for you to start counting down to the next vacation. :-)

The kids and I made a paper chain yesterday afternoon. All the rings are colored construction paper except for the 1st day of school, the Friday before Labor Day (Sydney's Adoption Group reunion in Minneapolis) and the day we leave for Cozumel! Those events all have white paper rings. Woo Hoo!

Chris, we have some zucchini growing in our garden. Our garden is very small but I love going out to supplement supper by picking fresh produce. Tonight I made fresh salsa to put on grilled chicken. Now I've got strawberry upside down cake in the oven for later.

OK...off to the gallery! I'll be back soon.
 
hey all... on my way to bed... I worked late, and then just vegged out in front of the tv... Matthew is feeling a little better... at least he's still getting some fluids and the potty problems have abated somewhat... they went ahead and tested him for strep today, but the rapid test came back negative... but they'll culture it for 48 hours to be sure though... they're pretty sure its just a bad case of viral diarrhea (I know, gross LOL) so I'll be getting up early and working late, cuz I have Piper's kindergarten kickoff for a couple of hours on Friday, and I want to get in as many hours as I can... hope everyone had a great day!
 
Dear Lord....If someone every figures out a way to realistic organize those plastic containers will y'all tell me?! =)

I didn't work out. Bad me.
I didn't clean the house. Bad me.
I didn't eat the best. Bad me.
I didn't scrap like I wanted. Bad me.
I did get my class planned and hung out with a friend. So that's good. =)

Maybe I'll be able to get in gear tomorrow after morning work. Or Thursday after the dentist. Or Friday. =) (Where does the time go??)
