Time to say good bye to February...... Where the heck did this month go? Oh, I am not complaining, because it brings me a bit closer to spring.:hippie:

Did everyone have a nice weekend? We did. We had a nice time at my parents' house yesterday. Gary was able to come with us and that always makes it better. Caitlyn has a new boyfriend (they see each other at school and text but that it about it, which is fine by me!) nd she got busted on by the family. he looks a bit like Justin Beiber which just added to the teasing.

just a rainy Monday in NJ here today. I was hoping to get to the supermarket today but I think I'll wait until tomorrow. I started pulling out stuff for Faery-Wings yesterday to see what I need to make. I have a Craft Fair on April 2 and that will be here before I know it. So I will be doing that today and food shopping tomorrow.

me Me Monday?
Anyone have anything good? I think I am going to start getting back into the routine of wii fit again this morning. I have too-- its been way to long.
10 minutes- that is my deal. 10 mins of exercise a day. (minimum LOL)

Have a great one!
Oh and don't forget, today is the last day to finish up any Monthly Challenges and to update your Tracking Links.

Morning ladies!

Chris - Glad you had a good weekend. You deserve it! You're always go go go!

Laurie - Eek! I hope your house is alright! Where are you? We're getting flash flood warning and tornado watches here in Arkansas right now.

Vicki - Yay! Your new kit is BEAUTIFUL!!!

I'm going to repost this, I don't think anyone saw it since it was so late yesterday -

SOOOO I have some questions for you guys! My dad bought me this magazine today called "Scrapbooks etc" and it totally gave me the motivation I needed and boosted my scrap mojo. Unfortunately all the tutorials in it are for traditional scrapbooking. I can lift the LOs pretty easily but I want to find a good digital scrapbooking magazine that offers the same thing. Any ideas? Also does anyone know a good place to find some tutorials? I'm trying to learn how to create my own borders and shapes for clipping masks. I know how to do basic stuff but I'd like to be able to do more. Any help would be awesome!

Today has been good so far but then again I've only been awake for about 45 minutes. Kaylyn slept really well last night. She is drooling like crazy so I have to keep a bib on her all the time now. Who knew having a baby was so nuts? Everyone warned me haha.

Me Me Monday!! - "Drink your coffee while it's hot, and scrap your heart out!" That's my mantra for today lol

Lunchtime called off work. Need to move as much out of the basement as possible. Also to get as much water out.water came up through all4 drains. No photos or scrapbooks lost but need to move them upstairs where it is drier!!

Good morning ladies!!

I am up at at em today. I got up and stayed up today! Yay me. And I have the car so me and Addie have to go do something. Not sure what...it may be as exciting as going to buy some groceries. At the moment I'm debating buying some airline tickets!! Maybe I should start a donation fund. Summer tickets are outrageous. Thank goodness I got my tax refund and might be able to buy them. Yay!!

OKay...I just bought the tickets and priced tires. We need to get the brakes checked too and will need to get a new tire for the motorcycle. Booo!! It is all good though.

Personals...

Chris - you know you should go through TurboTax or something and just run your taxes so that you know what you are working with and then don't worry about sending them in until you are ready. I know TurboTax doesn't charge you until you actually file. That way you don't have that unknowing over your head and if you know what you owe you can start debating if you want to call at the last minute to work out a payment schedule or just wait until the last minute and start saving now or what. But it gives you options. That is fun that you spent the weekend with your parents and that you picked on Cait and she took it well. Yay for rain instead of snow. That means it is warming up.

Laurie - Boo for flooding. That is one way to organize the basement though. Good luck getting everything out of your flood zone.

Oh...speaking of flooding...did you guys hear of the Amish family who lost their kids in the flooded creek? Apparently a girl in my church group is cousins with them and so we have been praying for them. They lost 3 of their own kids and a niece, I believe. They were so young. It was late at night and they were trying to get to a phone booth. The mother was driving the buggy and the extra water overturned it and the water swept away the children. My friend Ida has had to get the information on the news. I don't know her status with her family, but she is obviously no longer Amish. I know this has to be very hard for her.

Kristy - Good luck with your LO!!

Vicki - Yay for that new kit. I'm loving it. Enjoy that chill time.

Kayleigh - Oh yeah!! Babies are a whole new world, aren't they. Gotta love the drool. It is never ending. I don't know where it comes from. When the drool stops the snot starts. And when the snot stops they start digging for it...and then THEY EAT IT!!! EWWWWWWWWWW!! It is so gross. As far as magazines...um there are a ton online. There is the Artisan (I forget which site this is), the Playbook (The Daily Digi), a ton of tutorials on Youtube, Jessica Sprague has a ton of tutorials, and just google. Oh, also that project that Jodie was a part of has a lot of downloadable e-books but I forgot the name of it. I'm sure if you went to her blog you could find the name of it. If you google you will find everything you wanted plus some. Oh and there is the Insider on Digishoptalk. As far as paper magazines, I have no idea of any though.

yep got my LO done and already uploaded!! had a few nice pics of me and helena i took outside when the weather was fab!

quick break- my body is going to be so sore tonight- good thing I am going to take my shower later- as much as I pull out of the rug, it just keeps moving around- grrr. Plus my scrap/computer/craft room is at the far end of the basement and the empty room upstairs is at the same far end. I guess God knew I would need those muscles and endurance I have been building!! I plan to treat myself to Vicki's new kit when I get done with all this mess!!

Kayleigh... I don't know of any paper magazines... but there's different online magazines and blogs that show different techniques. Some are free some are paid. The only paper digiscrapping mag I ever looked at wasn't that good, and I think it was a special edition.
Some places to look are DST's mag, The Daily Digi Playbook (paid), Ginger Street magazine I think? It's at Ginger Scraps... then there's also the Artisan's Notebook? Eh these are all off the the top of my head. Then when it comes to blogs... different people post random tutorials... I think it just comes down to a lot of browsing and using an RSS Reader like Google Reader to watch blogs and such for new goodies.
Oh and there's another tips magazine in the works, and another site too... but I'm not allowed to give away any info :)
