Happy Monday My loves-- How is everyone? Hope that you all have a wonderful and fabulous weekend. Only one more left to go before the holidays. (I am not scared, nope I am not)

Things seems to be settling down some. That is always nice- got the majority of my shopping done, hope to be able to bake a few more batches of cookies.

Tonight is Caitlyn's band/chorus concert, she is very excited about that.

I have to make this quick- gotta blow my hair dry- it is still freezing cold.... brrr.

Love to you all!

Good Monday Morning!!!!!!!!!!

I am feeling a lot of RELIE today!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of this moving stuff is behind us!! I have to go this week sometime and help her get some things done...But the BIG stuff is over!!!! and yesterday DH and I went Shopping...We made the decision to give gift cards to the big kids...but we got all of our shopping done for the little ones....We found everything except for one item, I found it online as soon as I got home, and I even searched for a coupon, found one and that covered the extra expense of the shipping costs!! WOOT!!! The weather was horrible here yesterday morning...raining and icey out...we went right at lunch...it was not icey anymore but still raining...so it was not crowded at all...DH and I had fun in the toy store....

Better run.........getting my carpets cleaned this morning and I only have a couple of hours to get everything moved....this should be interesting...two babies, me and all the furniture piled up in the dining room all day!!

I will be back in a bit for a few personals!!

((HUGS))

Morning everyone!!! Ohhhh it's a new fresh start today!! I'm sooo excited this morning and I'm kinda Christmas-giddy!!! I hope to do a gob of shopping this morning and then party in the Craft ROOM tonight!! :)

It's a very slow start as far as a shop or anything (nothing as grand as how Elisa did it last week....which i love!! have you seen her store??? FAB!!!), but I'm starting by giving away a giftie everyday on my BLOG from now until Christmas! I'll even have a gift on Christmas!! yay!! So feel free to hop on over to Sally's Angelworks and hit me up!! :) everyday for the next 12 days!!

so that's my excitement for today!! (and tomorrow and the next day!) we are also going to the library in the later afternoon and I hope to sit and create on the laptop tonight!! I need to get some scrapping done sometime!!

ohhh and i just have to say that I gave the kids off this week...it kinda feels like cheating, but i'll be in CA with mr gorgeous in Jan and they will have to do school that week without me, so it makes up for this week!! *sigh* i love homeschooling!!

Hi everybody! How's everybody doing?
I'm so excited, Quinn's going to be here in a week! YAY! I like to play like I'm pretty tough and I can handle everything all by myself, but I do admit that I'm very happy to have my big college boy home for Christmas.

The girls are doing great and so am I. Finally over that sinus infection, but I still have a tiny bit of a cough. I was comparing notes with a friend who was diagnosed with H1N1, and I think that may have been what I had. Well, it's over now, as is what was most likely a secondary infection that I finally killed with antibiotics. Medicine is good.

I am starting to have a rough time in Algebra. I knew that those weeks where I knew what I was doing were too good to be true!

Oh well, I'll stop back by later. Just wanted to say hi!

Good afternoon all! Sorry I haven't been around the last week - work was crazy and we had our controller in town and as a result I was working some evenings late. I had an average of about 4 hours a night of sleep, so I was not a happy camper. And since my back was acting up (and the fibromyalgia thanks to the lack of sleep), I was not in the mood for much.
DH has another back procedure tomorrow - our last one before the year-end and before our insurance changes. They've definitely ruled it as either muscular or his hardware causing his pain, and this next test should narrow it down further.
I keep saying Christmas shopping done, but then my mom and DH keep giving me more ideas! Chris - I got your package - thank you for EVERYTHING!

Chris - I guess you got some good news from the SS? And for the cold - I think we're sending a bit of a "warm spell" your way - it's going to be in the 50's here today.

Sally - congrats on your new venture - loved your word art (will be DL'ing tonight)! I look forward to seeing more!
Hope everyone else is having a good almost-holiday week!

Good evening everyone, even though its Tuesday morning here downunder and YES! It is raining at the moment and oh so very cool!! aaahhh!! Love it!!

Last week of RL work so have been busy getting everything finished and filed away! I have three weeks off so I am really looking forward to some holidays!!

Christmas is now back my place! {happy dance} and while I actually have to clean up the house I am really looking forward to it. Our house, cause its set up high, catches a lot of lovely cool breezes so we have decided that DH will put up some temporary verandah guards so the little ones can't fall over and everyone can then just lounge around and just relax! If it is a really hot day then after lunch we can all drive down to the river (under 10 minutes) from our place for a cooling dip and splash around!

I was saying in another thread how I had not gotten into the Christams spirit but after listening to a wonderful CD by the group Celtic Woman this morning driving into work it has finally reached me! Check the thread out, would love to know what your faves are!!! https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15066

Hello!! Hello!!

Happy Monday!! It was actually a great Monday!! I got to sleep in!! There was snow visable therefore a 2 hour late start. That is the general rule around here. If you can see it you can't possibly start the day off normally. So we all slept in a little bit. Derek and I both too complete advantage and slept in. I don't think he actually slept in but me and the kids did. So today is an awesome monday for me. I wish I could say that for everyone. It was a pretty sad week for my church. We had two deaths last week and a lady who lost her baby at 36 weeks. It was not her first baby she has lost during pregnany just the furthest along. It is very sad. Her husband was deployed and she is so blessed that the military let him come back and she was able to wait to deliver until he returned. I can't even imagine what she must be going through today having to deliver a baby she doesn't get to keep. Breaks my heart. I've been praying for them all day. I don't really even know them but it is just so sad. But I know there is still hope in the world because lots of great things are still happening all around me and I am so thankful for that. It is just like all the good and bad have to continue to happen to keep life in check. To keep everything balanced.

More sad/happy stuff rambling. Please be ready for a little bit of word vomit here. My husbands step grandmother is currently dying of lung cancer. It has been coming for awhile and everyone is ready for it. So, when my MIL's mom died her dad acted crazy and drank all the time went out with all sorts of women and then he met Dot. He loved her and he settled down. Then they got married and life was good again. They lived down in Georgia and she is several years younger than him. Well, about a year ago she was dignosed with lung cancer. She got a surgery or two but the outlook wasn't great. So, she was put on long term hospice care several months ago. Now she is in the last stages and Derek's grandpa has been having anxiety attacks but won't go see a doctor or anything because he doesn't want to leave Dot. Problem being that my MIL can't get FMLA unless he sees a DR. So she went down there and got him to see a DR who of course thinks he has lung cancer and wanted to rush him off to the hospital. BUt they denied treatment. For 1 because he wants to spend his wife's dying days with her and for 2 he's to old and frail to do anything about it. Since my MIL has been down in Georgia (from Cleveland, OH) she has found out some interesting information. Apparently Dot and Pawpaw, as he is referred to, have been married for 20 years as far as everyone has known. But the day they were going to get married they got drunk and never got to the courthouse. She was able to be insured through his work so they didn't worry about it. But the insurance changed last year and they were no longer covered under commonlaw so they just got married officially last year after being together for 20+ years and nobody had any clue. Not their friends or children or anybody. It didn't matter though. She was still my MIL stepmom and he was still the stepdad and it all worked out just fine. Family was family as it should be. It sounds like everything is going as it should be. Things are sad when they should be but everyone is in pretty good spirits considering the circumstances. The best part is that when Dot dies my MIL's dad is planning on grabbing his stuff and going home with my MIL. That has been something that has been a major stressor for my MIL for a long time. He's even looking forward to it. I'm not sure how he is going to feel about it when he gets out of the car and it is freezing cold out, but he'll be okay I am sure. Anyway, it is a sad situation for them but it sounds like it will be a good situation and my MIl will be able to be with her dad during the end of his life which will make her feel better also. I think she would never be able to get over the concept of him dying all alone. Okay...I'm done with my ramble now about my family stuff.

I am almost done with Christmas stuff. Ethan seems to want an $80 lego set. Ugh!! I thought I was done with him but he is adamant about this lego set and I don't want to get it for him. I mean $80 for legos? that is unreal. Legos?? Seriously?? Pieces of plastic. I don't know what I am going to do about that yet. We'll see. My list is much smaller though. Shrinking by the minute. Whoohoo!! My tree is up. That is exciting. I love that. I hate putting the tree up because we put up a fake tree and so I get all scratched up and the dust gets in the scratches and they flare up because I'm allergic to dust mites. Fun times. :) But this year the neighbor kid put all the branches on so it wasn't so bad. It was fun. Ethan wanted to put all the ornaments on in one spot and it drove Derek crazy. I thought it was cute. Derek kept trying to move them and I kept making him put them back. If that was where Ethan wanted his ornaments then so be it was my thought. Well, I'd better get moving. I will chat soon.

Chris - sounds like your good spirit is still hanging on. I am so glad. I should be getting my package today. I'm pretty excited about to see everything. :) Have fun tonight at the concert. I hope Cait rocked it!!

LindaW - Yay for getting the moving done. How exciting for her. I'm glad it all came together and finally happened. Awesome about getting the shopping done too. Want to finish mine? I just need to find those stupid legos for a decent price. Lame!! If you could find a coupon for legos I'd be rockin!! :) Stupid Agents legos!! I am very jealous of your clean carpets. That is on my list for the new year. I am not looking forward to all the work that goes along with it.

Sally - You did what? Digital design? I thought that wasn't in your future? That is awesome. I am going to definately check that out. I can't imagine it being anything less than awesome. Elisa's stuff does rock doesn't it? I am loving it!!

Andrea - Yay for your son's visit!! Of course you are excited for him to come. It doesn't matter how tough you are. He's your boy!! That is so cool that you are finally healthy. It is about stinking time. Can't believe you waited so long to see the doctor lady!!

Leslie - Glad things are calmer for you. I hope you start getting more sleep. I don't do well without sleep at all. I can barely function without my 8 hours. I hope they get your dh's back figured out.

alright...i'm outta here.

I missed a couple of you while I was typing my book.

Ona - 3 weeks off?? So not fair!! That is awesome that you get to have Christmas at your house. I'm sure that will be a blast. I'm glad you are in the Christmas spirit.

Kat - Poor Nick!! I hope he feels better soon. HOpefully the doctor gives you something to make him better quick!!

Oh, my husband just called and him step grandmother passed away about a half hour ago. He said they are all sad but are doing okay or as okay as can be expected. But now he is itching to get home in the fairly near future. We'll have to figure something out.

Wow! Lots going on in here tonight!

Congrats Sally on the designing. I'll have to check it out!

Chris, glad to hear that things are going well. Hope Cait's concert is good.

Clara, we started with a 2 hour delay at school...which turned into all day cancellation. Brian stayed home with the kids. I think they overreacted...we had a little ice but this is Iowa...we are used to it!

Andrea, so glad to hear that your son will be home. That will be a great treat for you I'm sure.

Ona, 3 weeks...oh my goodness. I'm sooooo jealous!

Kat, I'm sorry that Nick's sick. Hope he gets over it before Christmas.

Oh Leslie...4 hours of sleep. I can do that for a couple of nights...but that's it!

Linda...that's quite a visual of all of you in the dining room all day!

I worked out immediately after work. I'm pretty pleased with my exercise. My eating needs to improve but it's getting better!

Ok...off to check out what else happened around here today!
