Hi my lOvlies!!!!
Crazy day here- lots of roller-coastering here. I haven't been here is so long except for a quick pop-in last night.

I have to get my rear end moving, but I wanted to open this thread and say hi to everyone. Missed you all.

How is everyone today?? Back to a normal schedule for us today....and that definately includes laundry for me...ughhh!!! I am behind again.

I need to pop over to my Mom's today and clean a little for her...since I just have Savannah, I will be able to do this a bit more often....she could use the help.

It's not going to be as warm today as the weekend was....upper 60's today...but I am still in love with SPRING weather!!! upper 60's is great with me!!!

NOthing else is too exciting here....I hope you all have a fabulous day!!
 
Hey hey! I am back with a yummy cup of coffee- *hold out pot for anyone who needs a cup*
It was an "interesting" last 5 days.
The quick run down:
Scott's dr's appt went good. Next visit- in June- we are going to start weaning him off the regular abx and add in cyst-busting abx. The "active Lyme" is pretty much on its way down, but the spirochetes go dormant, and will come back when abx are stopped. That is why it is important to get cyst busting to get rid of the dormant bacteria.

We had a really nice time at Gary's G-ma's birthday party that afternoon. It was at her nursing home and MIL had a guitar guy come in and sing old songs and tell silly jokes. Grandma loved it- so nice to have the cousins together too.

Caitlyn and her cousins could not bear to be apart, so my SIL/BIL and the girls came over to my MIL's for dinner. Cait and I were sleeping over so we could get an early start into NYC for American Girl.
That was a a blast- I love NYC and the weather was so awesome we walked from Port Authority to Rock. Center. Spent a few hours in the Am. Girl Store and had lunch at their cafe.

Friday we packed up Cait, her BFF, Scott the dogs and I and went to PA for the weekend. That was nice- relaxing for the most part.

Then Scott got a text that a boy in his school committed suicide Friday. So so soooo sad. Scott knew the name but not the boy. 13 years ol, cannot even imagine.
The "good" news is that it came at a very critical time for Scott- since he has been depressed and having a tough time re-adjusting to being back at school and so on. This became a teachable moment, brought home the reality of suicide. It is REAL. Its not something you can wake up from and start over.
But my goodness, I can't stop hugging my kids. They are getting a bit sick of it, but OH WELL!!!

The kids all go back to school today after the week break. I know it is going to be a rough day for everyone.

I am working from home today so I hope to have time to catch up more!

While waiting for tweets, I remembered how much I miss you guys and I wanted to stop by and say hello!
Good gravy, we've had an eventful time lately. Some have already heard this on FB, but Vince was home for his R n R leave the last couple of weeks and we had a really lovely time, despite the following:
Last night of our 2 day vacation to Great Wolf lodge, Genny was jumping on a chair and she fell off and hit her head on a table. Gushing blood- we had to call an ambulance, and had to stay a third night. Good thing I got a good rate on Priceline!
After we got home, I wanna say it was two days later? Atha went to sleep saying her neck and back hurt, and woke up throwing up. She had a fever that wasn't really responding to tylenol, and after she became delirious and was babbling that something was broken and she had to fix it I took her to the hospital.They found out that she had a UTI- she'd just started wiping poop all by herself, and that has to be why.
NEXT NIGHT Genny woke up throwing up!!! AGH! Luckily, she wasn't as bad, and we were able to get her in for an appointment same day. Turns out she had strep throat. COME ON NOW!! Then the emergency room supervisor called me worried about Atha, because some further tests came back saying she had multiple infections. So she had strep, a UTI, and uremic blood poisoning.


ANYWAY, It was nice to have Vince home.

Also, I'm scared to mention this because of what happened last Summer, but... I think I may be expecting a visitor this holiday season, and I don't mean Santa Claus!!!

So I missed you guys, and I'm not going to stay away so long this time. You're stuck with me!
 
Oh Andrea!! I'll be praying for you. I know how hard that was for you and how hard it is wondering if it will happen again, having gone through that myself...so I'll pray that this time everything goes perfectly. How nice of Vince to leave you with a little present. :) Well, now that he is gone, you know you will be hearing from me on FB often. I need all the scoop on Ft. Bragg. Supposedly we are supposed to arrive on July 11, but DH is trying to get that pushed out just a little bit, so we'll see. Right now we are trying to get dates figured out and then a place to live figured out. Then everything else can fall into place. So, you will be hearing from me.

So, we had a great weekend. We spent Saturday in Seattle and I took a ton of pics and ate a lot of food. It was awesome. I'll be posting some of those very soon.

So, I did it and have no idea what I am doing and i am not very happy with Oscraps right now. I am on Twitter. I was trying to not do it and now I am stuck in Twitter-land and am a tweeter. Ugh!!
