mmm mmmm mmm! I loove my coffeeeeeee!
I have to take Caitlyn this morning to get some fasting blood work done, and I am so happy that it isn't me that has to fast. I can live w/o food, but caffeine..... eh.. not so much.
yesterday's cleaning went good. it took me 4.5 hours, but I think I'll be able to get it down to 3.5. I am a bit stiff and sore today but I guess that is to be expected. I am not used to cleaning like that any more. even when I clean for MIL, I take coffee/lunch breaks with her. The woman's house is really cute- she uses lots and lots of color to decorate and everything is like it should be out of a magazine. But it is so cozy and friendly. It made me come home and want to do something to my house.
Laurie- good for you on testing those cookies. It would have been horrible if you gave them out and they weren't up to your standards. My kids call it poison testing- they have to poison test the christmas cookies before I pack them up.
Did you make it to dance last night?
Kayleigh- aaaahhhhh! Sleep is soooooo nice! Good for you and for baby K!!
Clara-- woooooot! The ramblings are back!! Love them!!! If you want, I can come down to you and push you to the clinic in our shopping cart. we can soup it up a bit if you like. Paint some flames on a bike helmet and go.

Good luck with Addie and reading- once she gets going, I bet she won't stop. Oh, I know of a little 'exercise" that I bet she would love to do. does she like to play school? Get a bunch of picture books-no words- and have her "read" to you. Let her be the teacher and make up the story from the pictures only. have her hold the book "teacher style" (facing you, not her). This develops some strong pre-reading skills, such as left-right progression, looking for details, putting pictures into words. Most of all its great to develop a love for reading and books.
You'll make a great student too LOL
Meg- how are you feeling? What book are you reading? Hope that you felt great all day and got to enjoy yourself.
sally- good for you to make some Me Time. I haven't been able to scrap in ages and ages.

xoxo
Trudy (((((hugs)))))) I am so sad to hear about that girl. Good thoughts to you and YMG. I can't imagine the emotional toll that takes on everyone.
Can you take hubby away for a night for his b-day? It sounds like you both could use a mini-vacation getaway after this.
