HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well...it started raining here yesterday afternoon and I don't think it's going to quite until Monday!! :shocked: They are calling for flash floods now.

Trying to decide what to do today....I don't have Connor today...so I want to do something fun with C-man....he can't decide. Can't do anything outdoors :Cry: We will go see my Mom for a little bit!!

LindaS...Oh sweetie....those blood clots can be so bad!!! Mike had them in his lungs!! He was in the Hospital for a week....I am praying for you all, especially your Mom!! (((HUGS)))

Chris....Oh my sweet little Faery (((HUGS))) I hope you had a better day yesterday!! Sometimes a good fit and cry is in order though!! Hope the lake was fun and Cait had a great time with her friend!! OH thanks for telling me about Andrea's photos!! I have not been on FB much at all...those photos made me have goosebumps!!! Okay...so if I need to go to the Dr...I am not telling YOU that I am not going.:fear:

Laurie...Vacay sounds totally fab...even if you have to do a little laundry!!

Trudy....Awe...sounds like you are loving the visit with DD...well except for that fighting over the computer!! Show them wno is boss and kick them all off :biggrin: . So what did your tea leaves say??? I have never done that before!! Sounds like a fab time!!

Clara...yay for friends computers!!! I see in my head that when you pull up in front of the new house, the internet guy will be waiting to get in to connect!!! I hope you get to come chat on Friday!!! Lots of (((HUGS)))

Daily Ooo's: Wednesday August 17

GoooooOd morning my Lovelies!

Another busy day for me here, off to meet my BFF for coffee in another hour, get the kids from my MIL's, stop by my mom's to drop off some stuff and then wind my way back home. This should only take me-- like all day. I just did some back to school shopping at Kohl's.com..... but I know everyone needs more "stuff." its just going to have to wait. Except for Caitlyn's black eyeliner. She ran out and MUST HAVE IT NOW!!!!

Is everyone having fun with Sally's DSL? I have got to hit the gallery- I need more time and energy in the day!

Personals:

Clara- Oh man- I cannot even imagine typing out a post on a cell then losing it! Glad that you are having fun adventures and that you can laugh at the grown man-child tantrums. Can you teach me how to do that?

Trudy- the tea house sounds so fun! I have been to tea houses, but never had my leaves read. I would be so scared that they would see "The grim" (Harry Potter reference ) Did you get any cool information?

Laurie- and glad that are taking this time away for assess life. It sounds like the perfect atmosphere for it! So peaceful

Linda S- How is your mom?

Nana- good morning my love! I thought of you yesterday- Cait brought her Oz quilt to MIL's to work on a bit more today. It is going to look so awesome when she is done.

Bettr run- I have to be out of here in 20 minutes and my hair is soaking wet, I have no make-up on and am wearing my glasses. But hey- I had some coffee, and the pets are all fed and medicated. Priorities, right? :boink:

Good Morning!
Well first of all, for those who haven't seen it on Facebook yet:

We have a Vincent in the house! Yeeeehaw! He came in early Monday morning and it sure is good to have him home, although I have to admit it is an adjustment. He's back to work now and I am carless, which is also weird. Not that I had any plans to go anywhere today, but that's not the point. Also, getting homework done has been tricky. But yeah, we are glad to have him around. You could not pry Atha off of him that whole first day. It's funny, she must take after my side of the family, which is pretty stoic, as opposed to Vince's dramatic Italian side of the family. She never cried about him being gone the whole deployment, and she didn't even get upset when we thought he was coming back Sunday but got delayed till Monday morning. But it SURE was evident that she'd missed him once he finally got back!

That's about all I have for now. I have to get some math homework done. BLAH!!!!

morning all - happy hump day!
today a walk on the rec path- 5mi with dh, followed by outdoor breakfast at the gables- they only serve breakfast. Now waiting till 2 for my baking class at the bakery- get to make 3 desserts and get the recipies and all the measuring is done for you. Can't wait to see what we get to make. I need to start working on my photography lessons- to learn my camera better. Lots of mountain view and floral shots this week. the weather has been wonderful, one rainy morning.

Andrea- love the pic- does bring a lump
Chris- have a good time with your friend
Vicki- feel better soon- and I second the neti pot- wonderful for sinus issues and you can get pre-measured stuff for the nasal rinse- does not burn like water does

Hey ladies!!

I have dinner in the oven. I am so thankful for our friend Dave that is here. We've been coming to his apartment every night and I've been cooking dinner. He is such a bachelor. His food bill on eating out each month is more than our family grocery bill each month. He just doesn't cook. So we have been buying the groceries, feed him also, terrorize his house, use his pool, run up his bills, etc and it all works out and we get out of the camper everyday. It totally works out. Our housing situation is a little screwed up right now and our date has been pushed out which doesn't thrill me. In NC we have to essentially apply to open a school to homeschool, so I called housing to get our address and found out that we were switching houses so we went to go check out the new house. It is the exact same house except that it is in a different location. The first house was about 200 yards from the community center and pool and was perfect but the 2nd house was in a horrible location. It was close to nothing. Ugh!! Then this is where one of the man fits occured (well besides the one that happened when he found out about the house change). Our car ran out of gas. The gas gage has been freaking out saying all sorts of things except for how much gas we actually have and so we had no gas. So dh threw a little temper tantrum and couldn't come up with any constructive answers and anything I said he just ignored and he was just being a butt as our car with two kids in it just got hotter and hotter and he just kept trying to start our car over and over...and the definition of crazy is again?? All I could do was laugh. And just so you know how I deal with these man tantrums Chris...my doctor has me on so much effexor and now i throw in a little bit of xanax and they just don't upset me so much. he can go ahead and throw his little tantrum because it really just doesn't effect me. same reason i can handle living in a camper. if not for mental health meds I would be a complete and total basket case, I am sure of it. So, today we went looking at houses off base. Not sure if we will live on post or off post yet but we have some possibilities either way. We even found a cool place with a pool. So, we'll just have to see what we decide. We already have people coming to visit and I think off post would be easier for that, but I just don't know. We'll be deciding soon. Anyway, I need to go check on dinner, so a few personals...

LindaW - That would be awesome if the internet guy was waiting for me although I think DH would kill me. i said no cable until the house is together so if the internet got set up...well he might kill me. I hope your rain goes away. Rain sucks big time, especially that downpour kind of rain. Tell Cameran Ethan says hello!!

Chris - yes, you need more xanax to tolerate the man fits. That's the best I got for you. today Derek was cranky because he has issues when his sugar gets low. He's not diabetic or anything just a brat when he doesn't eat but he doesn't pay attention and then the rest of the world pays for him missing a meal. It is pretty ridiculous but I knew he would be ridiculous today so I just prepared medicinally and it was all good and then he thinks I'm a queen later for tolerating him so well. I hope you got everything done today without your head flying off and had a good time while doing it.

Andrea - I love that photo!! Soldier returns are my very favorite photos of all time and when they are of people I know they are even better. I love it. I am so unbelievably happy for your family. I hope you guys are able to get settled quickly. I know it isn't an easy transition and I'll be praying for you guys.

Vicki - I am so glad your headache is gone. Too bad your rest had to be bad recovery instead of good restful recovery. Good luck playing catch up.

Laurie - Sounds amazing. I can't wait to hear all about the delightful goodies you get to make and see the gorgeous photos to shoot. I hope you are having a wonderful relaxing time.

Trudy - Have fun picking berries. I do not have the patience for berry picking but I love the fruits of other people's labor for sure.

Alrighty, I'd better go. The oven keeps beeping. Love you all and I am so glad to be able to hop in once in awhile. I just wish I could figure out this computer better to upload a few LOs for Sally's Designer Spotlight Challenge and stuff. But it is a Mac and I do not know my way around it at all and hate asking how to use stuff, ya know? Hopefully later this week. Later Gator!!
