lookout weekend here I come- well after a half day of work. Unfortunately not only here, but where I am going the temperature is going to drop 30 degrees - near 90 today and 60 for the highs- brrrrrrr. Have a great friday and wonderful weekend- I hope to check in from dh laptop- but you never know!

Morning Laurie and everyone else coming after me LOL.
I hear you on the temperature drop! About 2 weeks ago I was in Utah (Ogden) it was 78 degrees. I drove 15 miles to a rest area to take the dogs...I got out in my t-shirt and didn't understand how it had gotten so cold. In 15 miles the temp had dropped to 44 degrees! out:
Then once I got to Wyoming it was 33....definitely not ready for those temps yet. :???:
Of course the dogs love it. They want to stay out longer. :suspicious:

oooooooooooooh i LOVE the pictures and your puppies - SO CUTE!

we're having yuck weather too - no extreme temp changes, just rainy, drizzly with cool winds, then it clears a bit and gets hot, so i go from shivering to comfortable to sweating to shivering - all in a couple of hours. it plays havoc with head - sinus headaches. alyx gets the same headaches, poor guy - wish he'd taken after his dad on that

Congrats Krista!! That's wonderful news!! I want to be on 1 or 2 more CTs as well but it's hard Lots of competition! Plus I want to only be on one that is fun and more personal. I don't like to be a number just making LOs and not even get a comment in return :shocked:

About the pics: The darker puppy (Zona) we found in a truck stop. Someone had left her there as a puppy she was maybe 8 weeks old. She could barely walk she was that hungry so I just couldn't leave her there to die. Now she is the best dog I ever had Max, the pot belly pig beagle is a sweet heart too! :eyebrows:

Morning everyone:wave: I have a few minutes before getting ready to go. It is cold here this morning also and :rain: but its not going to last so that's good. I am hoping to get some scrapping time in after work today yay!!

Petra - Wow great photos!! Your puppies are so cute, bet they are great company for you on your long hauls!! My brother was a trucker for many, many years, he is retired now, but he misses it a lot!!

well...it's 12:01...so AFTERNOON!!!

Glad to get the week over with and head into the weekend!!! Going to start Christmas shopping tomorrow...and if there were by some chance a huge shift in the earth....I WOULD GET IT ALL DONE TOMORROW!! HAHAHA!!! FAT CHANCE!!

Our temps drop on Sunday Laurie....but not that much...down in the 70's...so it will actually feel quite nice!!!! Mom and I are already planning our Saturday in the the next few weeks to take a drive to see the colors turning!!

Hello ladies!!

A bit late for me but it has been a busy day. It was fun Friday aka over sized play date at a different park every Friday. Then I needed to go and buy a printer, then but DMB tix (they were freaking sold out on Saturday already...WTH??? Then eye doctors and then I had to buy glasses with dialated eyes. That was the worst. derek was being a poop and didn't want to come to the store and help me. I'm glad he did because he helped me pick out a different pair than I originally picked out. Then I took a pic of a pair that looked obnoxious and sent it to my mom and sis and said that was the pair I was getting. Hahaha!! I'm horrible. Ethan had his first eye appointment and could maybe use glasses but the optometrist said not necessarily unless he showed signs he needed them. Addie I wonder about though but her appointment is on Monday. They do the little ones in the morning when they focus better. Now my head hurts from the dilation. Ugh!!

The play group was fun and I took a bunch of pictures playing with the shutter speed since that is what I am learning about in my class. I need to do some playing at night with it. Not sure where or when but I want to. Tonight Derek is headed up to REI for tomorrow morning's garage sale. Very lame. At least I think so. But he does get some awesome deals...of course he always gets awesome deals on things that don't fit me, which is very irritating. I wouldn't mind a pair of keens if he saw some though. We'll see.

Laurie - I wish we would have a change in temperature but it seems to be going up instead of down. Ugh!! Have fun wherever you are going.

Petra - Are you trying to torture me with those pics of Washington?? I actually am going hom for almost 2 weeks next month which makes me happy and will be driving over Snoqualmie and Bluett (sp?) Passes to go to Leavenworth. I can't wait. I will definitely have to make a trip to Seattle for sure. Your dogs are so sweet.

Krista - I hope you get a chance to run back at some point today. HUgs!! JOyce Paul!!!!! Awesome!! Great gig!!

Vicki - I am so with you on the sinus issues. Mine have gotten so much better since I moved to NC though. I didn't expect that. I was tested and found out I am allergic to pretty much everything and so I think the molds in Washington were possibly really getting to me.

Trudy - I hope you get that scrapping time in today and get some good weather soon.

Chris - we've missed you too!!

Nana - Enjoy your shopping!!! I hope everything falls into place and you get a HUGE chunk done.

Oh...I need some prayers for my dad. He got laid off from Starbucks and it was a real bum deal the way it was played out. Anyway he is in an interview with Sysco today and it is a perfect fit for him so some prayers that they think so too would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
