OK, so I said to myself that I'd scrap the July challenges today and get them out of the way as a good cheery-o and because I'm going away on holiday and will miss the end of the month. But I find myself drawn, yet again, to the whole concept of art journaling. I've been looking around the galleries (including our very own Maya - she's a dab hand at it) and thinking maybe, just maybe I could do this. I'm fascinated by the randomness of it all. And the mess.
And then I take the plunge. I start creating. And before I know it (well, OK, several hours later), I have not one but three completed art journal pages. OMGoodness, how pleased am I?! Furthermore, I'm even more pleased as I realise I can use my existing stash (check out Ju Kneipp's AWESOME papers). So apologies to my fellow cheery-os for not having scrapped your challenges yet. And apologies to my family for the lack of washed clothes as I played for so long!
Here are my pages:

Has anyone else jumped in to this form of scrapping? Has anyone else tried this with real paints and papers and got deliciously dirty in the process?
