Another returnee back again

Hi, gals. It has been awhile since I have here. A lot has happened since I last posted. To bring you up-to-date a bit... my hubby was ill for the past two years and died in Jan of this year. I am recovering from that loss slowly.

For those who don't know or remember me - my name is Kay but I am known as Bright Eyes in digi-land. I live in beautiful New Mexico, USA - my home state - even though my hubby and lived all over the US and in Egypt during his career. I have 5 grown children, lots of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Been digi-scrapping for about 14 years now - having come from a paper scrapping background. Right now I am in the midst of paper scrapping memory albums of my husband's 20 year US Navy career and his 19 year career with an Aerospace company under contracts with the US Navy. The 2 Navy career albums are completed except for adding some accents to pages. Still have quite a bit to do on the Aerospace career album. So digging through photo albums and boxes of photos to use for those albums. Finding wonderful memories in my search. I have to admit that I now remember why I love digi-scrapping so much...

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I see a lot of digi-land friends here. Makes me feel right at home.

Yes, the loss of my hubby has been difficult but I am getting better. Scrapping memories of us has helped me so much. It may take me a bit to get back up to speed on the challenges here.
