My great-grandad with his gardening trophies. The green thumbs gene clearly skipped me, but my Dad and my daughter have it!

I cannot believe that photo is 51 years old now.. my cousin sent it to me last August.. the person sitting in the black outfit with the black/white top is my Mom, and while my hair is still the same color that is in the photo of my braids (with some streaks of white) I look like my Mom now.

I love the idea of reviewing a year. I will offer this page to my parents for Xmas.

This Thursday is Remembrance Day in Canada, remembering those that served, including my Grandma, above. Poppies are the sign for Remembrance day here so this kit was perfect for it.

One of my favorite pictures of my husband and me. Look how skinny I was!! I scanned the original photograph and converted it to black and white. I used lots of layers to bring in the colors and loved bringing in the pops of red. Everything is Anna's except the title and the black lace...
