For Momma O's September Challenge. My three papers are from She's Got Grit Collection by Vicki Stegall; 1 Stamp is from She's Got Grit; 1 paint from Breathe by Vicki Stegall; 1 fastener from Breath. I also added flowers, thread, some ribbon and a title, all from these two kits.
I started with a background paper from the Space Cadet Collection by Crafty Button Designs. Next, I added in elements from the Nocturne Collection by Lynn Grieveson. I used two different moons from Lynn's collection, then added the yellow moon from MultiMedia Moons No 1 by Anna Aspnes. Because I...
I used Moon Glow by Viva Artistry and Space Cadet by Crafty Button Designs. I just let my creativity run away with me. The image of the girl, holding the moon is from Pixabay. I actually built my page around her, because I loved this image so much. All of my pages have had a similar theme...
I did lots of blending and layering. The word phrases are some affirmations that are symbolic for the waxing moon. I used the Moon Glow Kit by Viva Artistry, with one word art embellishment from Space Cadet by Crafty Button Designs.
The font is Poplar Std Black, which I warped into different...
I have been wanting to do a mandala-type page for a long time. I did most of the element placement manually, since PSE doesn't allow you to create actions, but after the first couple of layers, which took forever, I developed a rhythm for the rest of the page. Here is a very abbreviated...

The background consists of two papers. The bottom paper is a creme colored artsy paper with hints of red and blue from Harvest Moon rising. The top layer is a celestial night sky paper from Celestial Worlds.

Favorite artists and favorite songs - that's a tough one for me. One of my very favorites is the late Bob Marley, so I decided to go with him this month. My first trip to Jamaica was just a few weeks after Bob Marley's early death - (he was only 36). We heard this awesome music over speakers...

I used the Space Cadet Collection by Crafty Button Designs for my layout. Some of the words that represent the new moon are printed on the moon. I darkened one of the moons from the kit to represent the new moon or "dark moon". The image of the woman is from Pixabay and I blended her into the...

For the September Art Journaling Week 1 Challenge *New Moon*. I used Space Cadel Collection by Crafty Button Designs and recolored the moon black, to represent the New Moon.
The theme was Harvest Season, so I used food and fall flowers to represent that. I blended a photograph of an old village and added a poem that I found on Poems.com that was anonymous.
