On our last day we got to the park ten minutes earlier, to increase our chances of seeing elk. There was a small herd that stayed until lighting was better. Fall River Road snaked around them on three sides and our views ranged from close-ups to a whole-herd snowy mountain scene.
So beautiful. Love. The deer makes me smile. And the tag is so perfect. Your house brings back so many lovely memories of Sunday dinners in my college years. There would be a candle in every window. ;)
The photos are awesome and you have quite a story. We could taste the smoke at our front door this last fire, so I know that's not fun, especially if Walt is at-risk anyway.
A blazing red sky before sunrise and then cloudy, but sunny and blue sky later. We drove to Upper Beaver Meadows hoping to find elk, but it was windy and they weren't out in the open. We did see a bighorn on the road near our cabin, probably needing the salt.
Cool design and I had to take your wordArt to the translator. "I can write my first name" is such a wonderful milestone for everyone, but in the sand, wow. Yay!
The check engine light — more formally known as the malfunction indicator lamp — is a signal not to be ignored. I couldn't stand up, so you went alone on the wildlife search, agreeing to share photos, and we had take-out for lunch. Remember your huge burrito.
