The first week of December has been special for me since that morning we saw a deer on the hill above us in fog and snow, and we found so much wonderful ice on the river. Others were starting their holiday shopping, but this has been the best part of the holidays, with the most meaning for me.

Today I realized they are reminding me of marzipan but I know they're very good for me and don't leave me with guilt. :)
