We were out for an hour. The sky was wonderful and I walked back to get photos of the reflections in Fall River. We turned around at the T where Fall River Road meets US34. My fingers and hands were tingling from the altitude so we descended. I had cold symptoms & no energy and slept a lot
More amazing photos taking in complete darkness tell a story. The elk were laying down on the grass not far from our Jeep. I got a few photos as they woke up and walked off. We also saw a small herd of bull elk and a loner in RMNP today.
Beautiful photo (you look so great) and great page design. Congrats on the Standing O. We have now broken all the records for the latest snow ever and were hoping too.
After brunch at Big Horn Restaurant in Estes Park we took photos in RMNP until 1:15 pm check-in at Fawn Valley Inn. We drove Trail Ridge Road as far as Many Parks Curve and then the narrow road to Upper Beaver Meadows Trailhead. It was cloudy and very windy but there was almost no snow.
