The wild iris is hard to spot, but even more so when they're scarce because of the drought. We almost missed them, but I noticed a faint and scattered whitish cast where there had been flowers a year ago. The flowers were almost a hundred feet from the road in a dried up marsh.
Eight years and 1600 double pages, so it seemed like a good time to look back at my very first page in my O's gallery, I learned that my preferences and thought processes haven't changed much, but I have a lot more to work with and mostly want my final page to reflect my current state of mind.
The two photos I used happened to be the very first two from my phone. You're psychic, A.
Thanks for all you do and especially your inspiration here.
Just for fun I changed our dark orange light to blue, then forgot to look up at our room's window when I got out to the Jeep until our last day. It was as much fun to see as I thought it would be. There wasn't a very colorful sunrise, so I was very relaxed about the foreground in my photo.
Our last day, Thursday, was our best, because we went back to ANWR, and first we saw two bitterns in the distance, and wild iris blooms among the dry parched grasses. We were starting to think there wouldn't be any irises this year because of the drought, so seeing them made our whole trip better.
Wonderful design. Love the photos, the colors, and the darling square with the date and place. Love it all and how you created something minimal out of your abundance of photos. ;)
It's beautiful smocking and exudes the love invested in it. Time spent making the bond between you and your littlest new family member. Love the checkered background in the photo and the MM card of buttons. So happy for you.
Thank you so much, Rachel. I'm so inspired by your products, to be more creative. Not much out there to support mountain/desert wildlife photography.
This has to be about -the- most perfect representation of Casa Grande possibly ever. Belongs on a poster I think, & would sell to tourists, LOL. I've been there, but probably not downtown, and I don't remember much. Love, love this.
