Love your photos and story. We've seen this with tiny pastel butterflies on Jeep trails up high where the runoff makes random puddles right in the middle of the dirt road and we stop because we don't want to run over them. :D Thought it was just minerals and didn't know it was only the males.
Congratulations on the Standing O! Love your sweet photo and your design with lots of white space and the horizontal line adding so much texture to your page. :)
Best wishes with your health. Your page is uplifting and I hope it helped you feel a little better making it and that you enjoy your new 'toys' long after this challenge. Lovely photos and colors.
Love how you added color using Rachel's torn bits. You might not yet have seen this game which also gives you a chance to win if you've posted in her gallery and on this page:

Love it! The photo might be showing everything that's important to the man and I love your collage mix with the tire and shells and wonderful colors and textures. ;)
Congratulations on the Standing O! Your page design is wonderful and your story is so well told. Then the perfect photo and the little fishes. Love!
Thanks as always Adryane. My very favorite inspiration for trying things is the color challenges where I get to revise the photo and all the supplies to go where I want to go, and seems like I'm always surprised.
A half hour of sun flies by, but we did catch some of the golden light before it was gone. Later, I studied the photo and my references a lot before I was pretty sure we had seen our first canvasback. They look a lot like redheads. And that led us to replacing our old and beat up Sibley's.
