Back home, looking more through the photos from that last morning leaving Alamosa, I realized that when the eagle flew over to another spot he had spent that time with his mate and we had photos of both of them. We'd heard their babies, and had been thinking how lucky we both enjoyed those trips.
Oooh! The minimalism in your 'vette reference is exquisite. Not wild about how the "Americans" treated the tribes, though. I love the stories of how the Mormons in Utah made peace with them by feeding them.
I always wonder what % of fish they drop from planes survive. OTOH, the 'vette has had a long, long life of luxury. It kind of steals the show I thought. :D
Beautiful photo treatment and a wonderful blue. Can't decide if I love it more on the roofs or for the blue sky with your sunshine clouds. Also a very nice choice for wordArt.
Love your presentation of these murals. And the QR code. This looks like a great excuse for a bunch of little joy rides, especially if you make sure you take the long way home. :D
Yes! A rain dance, and it worked because we got a whole quarter inch today and you'd think we got a lot more than a day's worth by how happy it makes us. :D Love your added element grouping.
Wonderful page design and use of white space. I'm happy to see you're using Rachel's products. I think they're perfect for your style, and here is a sample that proves me right. :D
Wonderful way to document the start of the trip, & looks like an exciting trip. I taught myself to take pics so I could plan the best time to avoid heavy traffic. My phone tells me GPS and exact time except when I toss the pic thinking it's just a stupid light post (or shoe) at 4am. :D
Remember how delightful it was to see the avocets and those milkweed flowers in the golden morning sun, even from quite a distance. It would be so nice if they were closer, but avocets need the shallow water that's over there, and they're safe from non-swimmers on that little island.
