Created for the February Art Journal Challenge #2. I was inspired by the colors, the flower which made me think of nature and the textures included on the mood board.

The background consists of four layers. The bottom layer is an artsy pink paper from Joyful Heart Designs. The layer above that is an artsy purple paper from emeto designs with a Blend Mode of Darker Color. Above that, is another paper from emeto designs that is white with a dark purple border. I used a Blend Mode of Pin Light with this paper. The top layer is a pink and purple artsy paper from Karen Schulz and I used a blend mode of Linear Burn.
