Live Life

I came across this photo while working on my Project 2022 book. It was a difficult day at the track where if something was going to go wrong, it did. Problem solving was a team effort. At the end of the day, it was humor that pulled them through. This is going to be one of the last pages in the book.

A solid gray paper (darkened by using the Levels adjustment tool) from APP He was used as the foundation of the page. Using the shape tool (roads and streams) in Photoshop, the road was created. I have a tire track brush and used that to add the dimension to the road. The track was duplicated many times and angled to the perspective of the road. The layers were merged together with a color burn blending mode applied. The image was extracted and custom shadows were added behind and in front to give some dimension. The title was created with the text tool, first in bold black letters (Lemon Milk font), duplicated, offset with a lighter gray and adding a stroke outline (offset). The page was finished by adding splatters, stars, pin stripes and paper textures.

Thank you for looking!

Your extractions are fabulous! I like how you made the road underneath seem like an arrow.
Love your title. I think I'd need to change it a little to suit our steep and rocky jeep roads. Great design using the extracted "characters." :D
You are just rocking the arrows in this book, the road is great! Love that retro holiday brush! The general contractor who did my master bath remodel called himself Full Throttle Construction. I always wondered why ;-)
