These pretty little dainty flowers, Cerastium Tomentosum (Silver Carpet, Snow in Summer, Chickweed) were growing along the brick wall in front of the Grasmere Parish Church, and with it's stunning silver grey foliage it really stood out against the greenery surrounding it. Whenever I see these flowers now I am reminded of that wonderful visit to the little village of Grasmere, Cumbria, in the centre of the Lake District.
