It's autumn here officially but feels like winter and there are leaves falling everywhere. Some like these here are piled up along a local street that runs past a park.
I used an AP Harken paper as background but altered it a little. Also used a transfer from same palette as a mask for my photo. Had to alter it a little also. Played with some Lightleaks to get the saturated colour effect I wanted. Added a couple of leaf elements from AP Autumn Elegance. Also used the bead element from AP Portiere, Urban Threadz, various stains, and splatter from AP Inkling.
the photo reminds me of mascha kaléko's poem "autumnal verse". especially the one line: "garish painted fires blaze every leaf".
i like the urban threadz and the splatters that connect the two sides.
