'Unexpected'

Journaling: Unexpected. Once upon a time last minute changes would have sent me and my people into a tailspin but I feel like weve made a huge leap forward in that area this year. Going with the flow and taking the bumps along the way in your stride seems to be a prerequisite for survival into todays world. Friday night I was supposed to be going to a Christmas party with Julie as her plus one.

When Eric retired I was looking forward to a Christmas party but as hes the sole representative in Denver, it never quite happened as I had imagined. This party also was not meant to be... Life happened and we both ended up eating delicious tacos at Plateas in Southlands. Then it began to snow...
