It is 12.35am Jan 1st 2023 Downunder!! Just wanted to pop in and say hello from the future!!! wooohooo!!!

2.05am 1/1/23: Well so far the future is pretty much the same as the past so I am going to bed now!!! hahahhaaaaa!! Chat to you when you get here! xxxxxxxxx LOL!
 
Happy New Years Ona. I'm impressed that you stayed up past 2:00 am. I don't think I'll make it to midnight here tonight.
 
Happy New Year! Still a couple of hours left of the fantastic 2022 here. Who thought at the end of 2020, that there would be a worse year ahead?! LOL Now I just assume 2023 will be a shitty year, I won't get disappointed if I'm wrong!
 
I'm with you Eva, I'm still fighting the good fight for my home. The people who are trying to force us to sell extended their contract with the developer until 2024!

I wish you all much happiness in 2023 and looking forward to seeing your smiling faces and creative efforts back here ready to start the new year.

LOL! Since moving down here to TAS I have reverted back to my Night Owlish sleep patterns so I am up until around 1.30am - 2.00am every night but I sleep in until around 9.30am.......... I am not a morning person! lol!! :)

Me, I'm the opposite. I used to be a night owl but these days I go to bed around 10 and sleep til 7ish.

I had always been a night owl before the kids came along, then my work involved having to get up really early every morning to drive to some place to train, and then on our property at Wombat Crk, we were on solar/generator/long life battery power so I couldn't stay up too late in the evening, say over the weekend, if the batteries were low! lol!! but when we moved down here with no family popping over early in the mornings and having grid power so I could have the lights and computer on for as long as I wanted......... it was a case of HELLO NIGHT OWL again!! lol! Some mornings I shuffle out for my morning coffee at 9.30am and have a chuckle to myself, thinking "A few years ago I would have been at work for 3 hrs and would just be getting my morning tea break!" lol! love being retired!! :)

I love being retired too. I keep forgetting what day it is LOL.
 
Happy New Year! We had a watch party where we watch Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope and watch the death star explode - Whoosh! Great fireworks! We're such nerds!
