The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
gooooOd morning, my lOvelies!

Got coffee and some of my SIL's yummy crumbcake for everyone. :hungry:

I am looking forward to getting out and about today. I am going to Kohl's with my mom-- 30% coupon, yes!! Gary and I are going to MIL's cousin's wedding reception- just a fancy dinner deal. But he has nothing to wear. My mom grabbed a dress for me the other day, but I need shoes. The joys of never leaving your house means that you wear old cruddy clothes b/c no one ever sees you and then when you have to go out in public, you got nothin' :)

I also get to pick up my baby-girl Heather Bo-Bether fromthe vet. She was spayed yesterday, but we hear that she did really well. The vet tech had me laughing-- she started to go through the spiel of what to expect- then she looked at me, and she said "Do i really need to tell you all this?" LOL They know me too well over there. Been through it all. I love my vet :)

WWW:
I wish that I could go and help Clara this weekend.
I wish I could go to the Jon Stewart/Steven Colbert rally on the 30th ;)
I want to find clothes/shoes for the fam that look nice and that are not expensive!
I want Gary to feel better today.

Personals!

Laurie- I saw some of the wedding photos in a thread yesterday (Photo Challenge? Can't remember...) and I am def. spending time in your gallery today!

Krista- Food Show Day sounds fun, do you get to try samples?? Open House/Back to School Nights, ugh- I didn't make either one this year.....:(

Nana Linda- Love that sunshine. We had rain all day- sunny here today at least, then more rain Thurs through Sat. But-- we also had tornado watches for yesterday. Tornadoes? in NJ?? Thankfully nothing hit us here, b/c after thee trees coming down last week, now I am worried.
So nice to see you happy!

 Vicki!!

Merkee Hi honeeeeeey!!!

Trudy- how neat to meet up with family from england! I am so glad that the job is working out well for you too

Sally!! I cannot even begin to read your list w/o going :faint: But you are happy, so that means *I* am happy!!!

(((((((hugs))))))) Clara. I truly wish I lived closer. I would love to come and help you out. I totally know what you mean about the "clutter" and it makes my brain hurt. I can't live like that either. Just keep breathing, write a list of 5 things you need to accomplish, and try to focus on one area at a time so you can see a difference.
Did you ever find your phone and wallet?

Petra- Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this. One of my BFF's has 2 children with CF. No, ,its not easy, but she does an amazing job with them, and nothoing stops them. Her DS is 13 and has been on the traveling All Star baseball team the last several year, he played football, the little girl is as smart as a whip. My hope and prayers goes out that there is a cure someday very soon.

PS: this is *the* perfect place to vent. Ask anyone how often I do that here. I promise that you will get lots of support and hugs and will hopefully feel better after getting it all out.

Petra-- i just read a bit farther- you know about CF already- in some ways that makes it harder, right? But, like you said, she doesn't have to worry about health care, so that is a HUGE positive thing. My friend has health care through the state for her kids, but is already worried that when they turn 18 it will change.

Great advice for Clara, Krista. And C-- the timer, USE the Timer! :jedi:

morning - back to work today and tomorrow off- I did not become productive until my shows were on last night- I scrapped the day away. Oh well - I did eat healthy for a change. I am hoping for better weather tomorrow- sun always puts me in a mood to work.

Chris- hope the kitty does well today and that your kohls trip is full of bargains- hurray for the 30% off!

I wish that I would stay on top of paperwork at work today
I wish that I would walk on the treadmill tonight
I want to be consistent in what I eat
I want to be consistent in clearing the clutter

Morning all ... Had a great time with family, they are all so nice and just love being here on the Island, we talked about family history and how strange it is that even though you don't really know each other, its amazing how much our mannerisms are alike! Just the tilt of a head or the way you stand or the little quirky smiles all remind you of someone in the family. Even better was the fact that we also had cousins from New York join us for dinner, they were also visiting and have been having a wonderful time on Vancouver Island. (Has anyone heard of Clarkson Appliance/Furniture Store)??? Lots of laughs with everyone, got home late and went straight to bed  Off to work for four hours today and then tomorrow off, so hoping to get some more scrapping done! Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Hello everyone!! I FOUND MY WALLET AND PHONE!!!!! WHOOHOO!!!! Yes Sally, totally on the up and up. I left them in the optometry department when I was getting Addie's glasses. I was flustered when we were leaving because I had too much stuff and Addie was running around and the wallet got left at the register and the phone in a cart. Not my smartest day, that's for sure.

So, we got up early today so that Addie and Ethan could go to music classes but Addie's got cancelled. Way sad about that. It sounded perfect for her. Now I have to actually try and find something for her. This class was kinda dropped in my lap. Ethan is in choir which will be fun. He was worried about singing baby songs but she assured him they would sing older songs. He liked it and has piano lessons with her tomorrow. Addie and I had our toes done while we waited for him and just happened to have a lady from my small group at church sit next to us. She looked familiar so I didn't say anything but then I saw that she had the book we are studying so we started talking. That was kinda fun.

Last night made life in my house much better. We got a lot done. Our dining room is officially a dining room and not any kind of storage. Living room still needs some work but I am going to start working on that once I get off of here and make lunch...in 15 minute increments. I think it won't take long to see the progress. We have lots of piles all over the house and it seems like a lot of the piles can if nothing else at least be consolidated if not gotten rid of completely. Derek and I also talked about another issue. I have huge issues with the tv shows he watches and how much of them he watches. He spends hours and hours watching car shows, food, shows, travel shows, survival shows. Each on their own is fine but the sheer volume is obnoxious. Plus if the kids and I are watching something family friendly and we get up for a few minutes to take care of something...go get a snack, go to the bathroom, whatever...we come back to him having changed the channel to what he wants to watch that no one else wants to watch and crankiness if anything is said because he already watched a half hour of Hannah, or Wizards or whatever. So we agreed that we would come up with family hours. And during family hours we can only watch shows that are acceptable to at least 3 people on the family TV. He was in total agreeance. So that was awesome. So, now we'll just see how often he sneaks off to the bedroom to watch stupid TV.

Well, my house isn't organizing itself and no maids are showing up to cook my kids lunch so I'd better go. Oh one last thing before I do some quick personals...My great aunt died last night. She was very sick and she died peacefully but if anyone finds it necessary to send some warm wishes or prayer to her family I would appreciate it. I had hoped she would make it until I got home to be able to visit her but that was not in the cards. Her family got to spend a lot of time with her and she died with one of her daughters by her side after watching the Mariners win and eating a salmon dinner. You can't beat that for a last day. I know her husband is going to be pretty lost. Thanks guys.

Chris - you and your fur babies. I love it. It means so much to me that you wish you could help me out. Thanks. I appreciate that. I think I'll put on the Rent soundtrack and pretend you are helping me. Love you girl!! Oh, and my five things to accomplsh...1. clean off the fireplace mantle. 2. Organize media crap the best I can. 3. At least 2 loads of laundry and put it away. 4. Write condolence cards 5. Get kitchen decent (a nice mix of getting it together and everyday)

Laurie - I am glad the sun puts you in a mood to work. Nothing puts me in a mood to work. I like to be lazy all the time. LOL

Krista - I think we should all announce a day as a national bed day where we just lay in bed all day long, sleep on and off, scrap on our laptops, watch tv, whatever. Have fun at the tournament.

Sally - are some of the advent calendar pieces for me? I am so excited. Good luck getting everything done.

Vicki - You and me both on those jeans.

Merkee - Hey lady!! How are you. I miss you. :(

Okay...lunchtime then worktime. Love ya!!
