What a fantastic time we had. I can't believe that it's over...and I'm needing to check the weather so I know how to dress the kids! Loved meeting Vicki and Cyn! And the hotel was fantastic. If anyone's planning a vacation to Cozumel, I know where you should stay!

I am so going next year. I'm already looking for a jar to store my pennies in. I'm leaving my fam at home and heading to the sunshine.
 
Mr Gorgeous and i will SOOOOOO be there next year (since we ALMOST made it this year! *SOB*)...Love love love those pics, Vicki!! :) Glad you girlies had a blast!!!

Sooooo,, what is in Cozumel?
Is it just a vacation, or is there something organized??

I think I've read something about an organized thingie.. But can't remember :oops:

Yvon- Cynthia lives in Cozumel, Mexico. He DH runs an absolutely phenomenal and gorgeous resort there. Last year I was incredibly blessed to go there, along with Vicki, Sally's family and WendyW's family. It was incredible- and the O-Family is the bestest!!!!

Hopefully, we all want to make it an annual oscraps getaway!

I am w/ Clara- saving every penny I can. And since my kids are *not* going to let me go without them, they are saving their own pennies.
 
I do think we are going to make it an annual thing. I absolutely LOVE it there! And, Cynthia and Sal are amazing!
 
So, I was telling my husband we needed to go to Cozumel next year and he made fun of me. He is so lame. So my sister said he can kiss her butt she'll take his place and we'll go. She's already checking to see if some of her miles will work to go down there. So if Derek changes his mind and says meeting your internet friends may be lame but Cozumel is not so he'll go anyway, it could be the 3 of us which is always fun too. I'm good with that too.
 
Yup...we are in for next year, definitely!!! We are trying to position ourselves to bring the whole brood down next year...won't that be fun???

and Chris, of course I meant you should stay here!!! You have to stop off in Houston for a couple of days!! we should try to time it with the quilt festival again and go together!! omg, wouldn't that be the best???? (i know...different thread, but i had to put it in there!! LOL)
 
LOL Sally- I mentioned it in passing to the kids and they were all freaking out happily- they remembered how we were "trying" to find your house after we took off from Houston buhahahahh!

I am telling them to save their pennies- to ask for money for C-mas/b-days... we are going to find a way.

You better find a way because I will not be happy if I get myself there and there is no Chris. Clara will not be a happy camper. not a happy camper at all. you need to have some cozumel fundraisers. you should talk a designer into making a kit for your cozumel fund. :)
 
Well I'm sure that Chris will be taking hers. So I may try to add a teenager to our family again...I know Sarah had a great time. And I think she would like it even more if there were some older kids around.
