CHEERY O
Wow-- you all rocked last week!!!!! Totally proud of you all!!!!:D
I really noticed a difference in my bedroom..... and I didn't feel like I killed myself over it either.

For anyone who has been lurking or just seeing these threads now- jump on it!!!

Here is the Sneak Peek for the Week
Our Zone is the Living Room then Entrance/DR:

Zone 5 - The Living Room/Family Room - Monday
Zone 1- The Front Porch/Entrance/Dining Room - Tuesday - Friday

Thankfully, these are all one area for me, so I am going to kind of flit around them all, depending on what needs the most work.

Today's Mission is to clean up hot spots inthe LR- I know mine is in between the Entertainment Center/TV Stand and the bookshelf. I have a ton of old photo albums just stacked up there. Next to the heat. bad bad bad!!
They are going to find a new home today.

Here are Monday's Email Reminders

Have a great day!

Bed is made this morning...and I am showered and about to be fully ready to go out the door....I am ahead of the game this week...I decluttered my living room last week...cleaned, dusted and windexed everything but the ceiling fan....I need to do that this week...now the foyer...another story...I will work on that...no clutter there...but it needs a good cleaning baseboards and all....and my dining room stays pretty clean...as I consider it to be part of the kitchen....and it's open to my living room...so I am sort of OCD about that room...it also holds most of my indoor plants...so it's always green and alive in there!!

the living room is good for me this week! Maya's birthday is coming up so I can have it all cleaned up by friday!

Okay, sink is shiny, dishes are done, bed is made, I'm dressed to my shoes, laundry is going, I've walked the dog, and done what I call walkabouts. I walkabout my house quickly and I pick up stuff from one room to the next and do a quick tour of my house.

My living room isn't too bad but I do have a few hotspots to work on. My front porch and entrance area definitely need the work this week.

Whoops! Monday is practically over here when I read this. Will have to work a day late. Is that what you're doing, Diane?

We've had a public holiday today (and I've had a killer migraine all day), so the house looks like some mega bomb went off - mostly involving Wii paraphernalia. And I've been cooking, big time. Three meals of beef vindaloo, four meals of lamb rogan josh (we eat a lot of curry LOL), and the roast chicken has just gone in the oven for tonight - so you can just imagine what my kitchen looks like right now!

I tried the fluff thing with the pillows in the tumble drier - WOW! what a difference it made. Great tip.

Does anyone still have their kids on holiday? We've got one more week off but have finished all our trips away and for once I'm actually pleased that the holiday is finally coming to an end as I'm exhausted and can't wait for the little blighters to go back to school! Love 'em, really, but OMG, the disruption to my routine - hehe.

Right, the chicken is beeping at me, better go address the nightmare that is my kitchen.

I am home sick and am not getting really dressed. i put on a sweatshirt though, does that count? LOL!! I did make my bed and am planning on getting my list done and I need to write out lists for me and dh so that we know what to do today. whoohoo!!

Awesome my deariO's! Great start!

I worked on the corner of my LR- I put away some overflowing boxes of photos, reaaranged the bookshelp and cleaned all around it. Looks so much better!

Clara- I love that you made your bed, even if you are not feeling good. Woot!

Merkee- I like that idea- walkabouts! Awesome tip!

Can I be excused for a few days from FLY DUTY??? Gotta put cleaning on the back burner for a couple of days....everything else too!!!

I think most of you know why!!!

Don't get me wrong...I am loving being an O-Fly....but Nana-O comes first!! LOL!!!

Awesome my deariO's! Great start!
Clara- I love that you made your bed, even if you are not feeling good. Woot!

Amazingly enough...it made me feel a little better, or at least more comfy. And then...to finish off cleaning my bedroom...du-dudu-dah...I organized my master bathroom. I had a whole garbage bag of crap to throw away. that was awesome. And then I took a nap.

Linda - what do you mean you're noot going to clean? You don't place cleanliness above grandbabies?? LOL!! You go take care of that sweet little bundle and wish her (?) a happy birthday from all of us here.

LOL Clara Re: LindaW!

I have to be super quick-- gotta get to the supermarket.... ugh....

here are Tuesday's Email Reminders
New Zone for the new month: Front Porch, the Entrance area and the Dining Room

And the Mission is to sweep your front porch- Oh my, mine really needs it. Lets see if I can do it w/o getting stung by any damn bees!

I don't have front porch as such, but I do have a front garden that looking pretty shoddy, so I'm going to try & tackle this - and my extremely narrow hallway - which only takes 5 mins thankfully as it's so small we couldn't get in the door if it wasn't fairly clear - LOL.

Had a cracking day so far: cooked dinner by 10.15 am, all of us dressed, bathed, beds made, hair cuts, school shoes bought, dogs walked, dry cleaning collected, got car washed and now lunch is cooking and I get 10mins on my computer. Phew! Of course, I haven't done any of the NEW things for this week!

Have a good Tuesday everyone.

Merkee- loved the idea of walkabouts! I did that last night, and it took no time, but I was able to put away a whole bunch of things.

here are Wednesday's Email Reminders
The mission is Hot spots in the Entrance area http://flylady.net/pages/FlightPlan_Missions.asp

I swept just the stairs yesterday out front, so if I have extra time I am going to do a bit more today (no bees, I hope!)
My "entrance" isn't too bad- I just have to get the kids to take their shoes up off the steps and into their bedrooms.

Ok lOves, off to FLY!

Hi y'all! sneakin in here... I used to do flylady years ago - really need to get back to it as the clutter has built back up over the years. But, I'm not quite ready to jump back in, but I dedicated this week's 52 to y'all and did a layout about it. It really is tongue in cheek and no offense intended to y'all, I really do support y'all 110%!!!!

here's the layout in case you hadn't seen it: https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=112740&cat=500&ppuser=12

I'm really loving this 15 mins clean up - I set my egg timer. No, really! In fact, it's so inspired me I actually did a mini LO about for an online class I'm taking by Shimelle Laine. Do you guys adore Shim as much as we do in the UK - she's like the Queen of the scrapbook scene over here, even though she's American - LOL!

It's been bucketing down here so I haven't managed to continue my good works in the front garden, but my hallway is clear - barring DH's bicycle, which is dripping wet and not allowed further into the house in that state!

So, dh is sticking with me pretty good. He was a brat on Monday when I gave him his list but he was good yesterday. I told him we had to sweep the porch and all that and he had it done before I got home. Then I wiped down the door and shook out the mat.

I am getting so much better about my habits. I made my bed, started a load of laundry. I didn't empty the dishwasher because there wasn't enough in it to run. There wasn't enough laundry either so I turned down the amount of water, which I never get to do with all of my monster loads of laundry. I love having all of my clothes hanging in my closet. It is so awesome.

Selena - that page is awesome. I love it.

Selena- that ROCKS!!!!!!! So cute!!

Clara!!! Wow!!!! Look atht he difference in just one week! You rock as well!!

Well, ladies, it is "crunch time"-- let's see how well organized I am now having to get the kids out to school early ;)

here are Thursday's Email Reminders

Good mission for today- http://flylady.net/pages/FlightPlan_Missions.asp
Clean those DR windows and walls. My DR windows always have kitty nose prints on them, so I know what I will be working on!

Have a great day FLY-ing!

Ok....I need to go back and read the last few days in this thread....but I can tell you.....I am so way behind on Fly duties!! I am resting a bit today...so tomorrow...I will be in total FLY OVERDRIVE!!!!!!

I will check back when I have actually accomplished something!! hopefully today I will gather a little energy to do a few things!!

Linda W!!! No no no!! :p Don't go back- start where we are now. That's the whole point of FLY-ing. So you missed some missions... you had much better things to be doing.
Just set your timer for 15 min's and do what need to get done.
If more needs to get done, set the timer again. And go look back at Selena's LO- when you "work it" 15 min's is a lot of time!

Happy Friday my O-FLYers!

I had a long day yesterday- up at 5, gets off to school, off to work, kids home from school. And lots of "parent" Homework ;)
But since I got started w/ Flying last week, there wasn't too much to worry about. I have been doing Merkee's walkabouts and that is such a big difference. I have also been putting my laundry away right after I fold it, instead of waiting for the next morning.... and the bed has been made, the sink is clean. I can find things now LOL!

Hope that you are feeling good too :)

Here are Friday's Email Reminders

and today's mission is an easy one (for me at least) hot spot drill by the entrance. Being that it is still warm, not jackets/hats to worry about :D
http://flylady.net/pages/FlightPlan_Missions.asp

Well...I started my day scrapping....trying to get my challenges started...so I don't get behind....LOL!!

But I am off in a few minutes and I will be "FLYING" the rest of the day!! ALL day!! which includes some grocery shopping!

I need to do these walkabouts...I used to do that when I worked...everynight before I went to bed!

Thanks Chris....I won't go back....I probably wouldn't have time anyway!!

I have to share this...I was reading the email reminders...and the "CLEAN CAR BOOGIE" and one question was "is there a smell in your car you can't find"...it reminded me of a few years ago...I had bought a Honda Civic 2 dr and drove it for a while, but then Sharon told me she was pregnant and I decided to keep the baby (Cameran) full time, so I needed a 4 door car. I traded in at the dealership that I used to work at, and one of the guys there ended up buying it, since he knew it was mine. I went in a while later to get my oil changed and I ran into this guy...he told me after he bought the car there was smell he could not get rid of...he cleaned it, sprayed it...everything....finally he took the seats out, and a bag with tomato was lodged under the seat...LMBO!!! I remember losing that tomato, and wondered what had happened to it!!......
