Oscraps

This month we had a little bit of a slow start in the Art Journaling challenges, so we only had 3 up for this month. There were some beauties scrapped in those three weeks, so I wanted to share a few with you for a few reasons. One, first and foremost because they’re beautiful, but two, because we really want you to join us and I hope these examples can give you the impetus to try!

Here is one from week 1: Faerywings

This picture is so serene, and is beautifully surrounded by Lynn Grieveson’s Time of Change kit! I love her title work and all the messy paint!

From Week 2: “Renew, Reuse, Let Go” by GrannyNKy

Isn’t this a treat for the eyes? First of all, she had me at butterflies – but more than that – there is something of interest all around the page! I love the torn paper, the fun paint all over, and the way she used the tickets and ephemera!

Finally, from Week 3 we have “Reflecting on Family’s Past” by Bright Eyes

This is a perfect scrapbook page for me!! It’s got a wonderful journal block, it’s remembering family, and chronicling history! I love the beautiful flowers all around and the ghosted clock! I also like how the old and the new is represented by the old timey scrapbook page and the computer blended into the background!

So, now picture me on my knees with hands clasped together. Envision those really big brown puppy dog eyes when they are aksing for just a nibble of your food. Won’t you please join us at the art journaling forum? We don’t bite – I Promise!!!
