Windows 10???

I will download it as soon as it is available. I've watched a video about it, and it promises to be excellent...I'm already on 8.1. It should be a pretty easy move-over for Windows 7 users. I know. We all hate change. But in CyberLand, I think it is easier to move one increment at a time than to make a huge leap. JMHO
I reserved my copy yesterday. DH has it on his laptop and really likes it so far.
I had to do a mess of updates on Win 7 before it would even let me reserve a copy. So we will see!

I have a Toshiba, Intel and it ran on 8.1
Okay made the plunge, after 2.5 hrs of waiting for the download to finish (had a lot of files for the program to copy.) I clicked on the internet icon I got a window pop up stating I wasn't registered in the class....huh! So I got on my husbands laptop and looked it up, frustrating to try and figure out how to fix for a non-technical computer geek. I couldn't even figure out how to reboot the system. So I thought ok how the heck do I get this thing to shut off.....I had to manually shut the computer down by holding down my laptops on/off button.
So fingers crossed that rebooting it would fix the issure....it did, yeah. I didn't get to play with it much since it was late, but I did like what I saw so far. My photoshop seems to come up and work, although I was hoping with the new windows 10, my menus and toolbars in photoshop would be the normal text instead of the really really small print it is....didn't happen...."sigh". I'll report back as I'm finding things.

So far so good here on my end. I haven't had much time to really play with the new features although I think my DH has a new girlfriend named Cortana LOL

I haven't tried the Cortana feature yet, there is already one blabber mouth living in my home....hee hee
The only thing I found that isn't working is when I try to attach a zip file to my email and I go to the file where it is, my email isn't showing it as a choice to attach. when I do the pull down to choose the file extension, .zip is not on the list of file types to choose.....
Of course of looked at the net to see how to include it in the excepted file choices, but can't figure out how to do that....still researching. If you guys can help me figure this out, it will be much appreciated.
Berry- I can't seem to find a way to do that either. I use ACDsee so it is not an issue for me ATM, but it seems to be very odd.
Marikje- my hubby was able to download his upgrade a day or so before me even though I reserved my copy soon after he did. if you go to microsoft.com, maybe they have some more info?

No I can't find anything on how to fix this.
So to review, I create an email (Yahoo mail), click on attach file, window opens, I click on my zipped file folder, nothing shows for me to click and attach to my email.
I did the pull down to see what "all files" are and the .zip is not on the list of approved choices.
Any ideas?
My husband and son upgraded. My son really likes it. My husband just did it for testing at his work and hasn't really said if he likes it or not. I'm on a Mac now have no clue.

Another issue.....My blogger (google) isn't working correctly, it has a problem with inserting images to my page. Usually I click on the icon for inserting images, click on choose files to upload from location on my computer. It uploads, then disappears, although I can still select the image by clicking on where the image was. But when I click on add selection, it deselects (frame is no longer around the image) and doesn't do anything. In fact it freezes up and won't allow me to do anything else.
I did report it, I'm thinking it's causing issues because the browser is no longer explorer but is the edge. I had to use my DH laptop to upload the images. Hopefully it gets resolved.
I know I've just posted issues, but honestly I love the new version. Just need to work out some of the bugs.
