Which smartphone do you use?

Mine is a Samsung too, but no idea what kind. It is a couple of years old but it does what I need it to do

That is how i got mine, maya upgraded to a model 8 and gave me her 6When my son buy a new iPhone ... his old one comes to me
now I have an iPhone5S ...
and indeed Madi ... the camera from iPhone6 is superb!

Same for me.
Normally we have 4 contracts every 2 years with a brand new mobile phone. Dh and I were the Samsung guys. My Son and daughter the Apple guys (especially my daughter). But 2 years ago I decided I don´t need every 2 years a new mobile phone and get the old one from my daughter. Her mobile phones are most of the time in a better shape than those of my son.
At the moment I have an Iphone 6 plus and never want to leave Iphone. She has the new Iphone X( but I have to wait until next year to get it). But she already told me "you will not understand that phone". Thanks for the trust in my tech skills.
I have iphone6 plus. I need the plus to see better my emails, texts specially for work. I used to upgrade more often my old work paid for it... but not any more
I'm an iPhone user for sure. Mostly because I don't like change and I don't want to have to learn a new setup lol And, all of my apps over the years...
I am an iphone user too! Mine is the iPhone 6 and I like the larger screen, not sure if I will upgrade anytime soon I really like this one! It fits into my wallet perfectly and now I no longer carry a purse (which has improved my sore neck and back!) My wallet has a clip handle that I can attach my keys to so I have everything I need with me all the time. With all the facetime chats that I do the iPhone is just the better choice for me.

If you go to settings/about phone, you can find out which phone you have.

I have the Samsung Galaxy S9. The battery is beginning to drain too quickly. We've been an iPhone family for many years now and I just got bored with their design. It was weird switching to Samsung, but I love the curves of this phone! You know, design nerd! The camera is pretty sweet too. Apple would have to do something more than just upgrade their camera to win me back (although I hate that my phone will not connect to my car and my guys' iPhones will...)
I currently have a OnePlus 7T Pro 5G Maclaren. I had the OnePlus One about 5 years ago when you needed an invite to get one. I lived that phone, so I wanted to see what I thought of their new phones. I miss my Note 9 and will either switch to the Note 20 when is arrives in the Fall or get the Pixel 4a XL when it's released.

My phone is a low end model, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit. It's used for emergency phone calls primarily, but I also use it to listen to Audio bookasand to access TV listings and news updates.
I use a Samsung S7. My DD1 and I are on android phones and DD2 and DH are apple freaks. But I also use a galaxy tab 4 for reading books and other things and my laptop for work (websites/design/edit).

My parents really need to get cells phones. They have one flip phone between the two of them and it is *never* turned on.
I suggested that htye look at AARP phones and plans.
Is there a smartphone that you would recommend for old Luddites (not that there is anything wrong with that ) to be able to use without me having to walk them through every step?
I want them to be comfortable in keeping it on all day, be able to text, send/receive photos, and sue the GPS. They definitely don't need bells and whistles, in fact there more options they have, the greater chance they won't use the phones at all.
