Oscraps

Where in the World are you?

hey Ona I remember driving through there and ending up in a place called MacLean with lots of tartan lampposts it so reminded us of Scotland .
We did say to each other now this would be a really nice area to go and live with all that water about as well to go sailing and canoing.

so ...I live in Scotland on the west-coast , right next to the water but I was made in Holland :rapture: I mean I am Dutch with my dad being Dutch and my mum British

Ellen, really!!! how fun!! yes Maclean is only about a 20minute drive away and a very pretty little place and about a 30 minute drive from some lovely beaches too. Its very much a Scottish town and each year they have a Highland Festival with visiting pipe bands etc and in the evening a Celi (sp?). :)

I am from the Seattle, Washington area but thanks to the US Army I live with my family in Fayetteville, North Carolina for the time being until we get moved someplace else. But only for another 4-5 years when my husband will be out of the military and we will move back to Washington and be back home.

Unless you decide that being center of the world on the East Coast is better than onthe West ;)

Southwest Indiana... Have lived in Indiana my whole life, though when I was younger at least it was Indianapolis so it was a bigger town...Now I live in a tiny tiny tiny town.

I'm from Canada.

The best thing about Canada is the free health care. I've had my share of health problems & I'd be dead right now if it weren't for free health care for everyone. Plus, because Canada is so big, but with relatively few people it is full of the beauty of nature.

I'm a :canada: too and living on beautiful Vancouver Island in the small City of Duncan (the city of totems)

Can you adopt me? LOL

My entire family has chronic illness as well as a lot of other heath issues and I fight w/ drs/insurance companies all the time.
All of our debt (outside of mortgage) has been medical related. :(

Do any of you actually watch jersey Shore? I promise I won't judge you if you do, as long as you know that we are not like that.
:D

New thing is that the JS Cast is going to Italy for some reason to shoot some episodes and the Italina-Americans in NJ are *not* happy about it. They are saying that it is going to make us look like Bimbos.
All I can think is my grandparents' families in Italy are going to be rolling in their graves thinking that *that* is what happened to their family after they emigrated.... *shakes head* My poor ancestors.... I hope they know we turned out ok!
