Where are you from?

Where are you from? I know where some of you are from...but others, I just don't know. And as I get to know you through your layouts, I can't help but wonder, where do you live?

I'll start. I am from the USA---was born and raised in Iowa and moved to northeast Florida (near Jacksonville) 3 years ago.

Well, I´m form Portugal and I was born in a city near Lisbon and now live in a town half way to my home city and Lisbon.

Born in the far north of Alberta Canada but have lived in the Vancouver BC area for the majority of my life.

Eva your city and countryside looks so beautiful, but it must be so cold in winter...

I am french and I live in Angers in the Loire Valley well known for its wines and castles.

Usually we have about -10°C in the winter, but it can be as low as -30°C some days. Hoping for a warm winter this year, now that everything is crazy expensive!

I was born in Tucumcari, New Mexico - USA. Lived all over the states and in Cairo, Egypt but finally returned to my home state. I live in Rio Rancho - right next to Albuquerque, NM.

I'm from Germany, born in Speyer. I am a real Palatinate. For professional reasons I also lived in Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria. Was then 10 years in Spain and came back. I live in the northern Black Forest, but will be moving back to the Palatinate in the next few months.

I once went on holiday to the black forest, what a beautiful region!

I'm Canadian, born and raised in Ontario, lived on the west coast of Vancouver, British Columbia for over 40 yrs and 5 mths ago we moved to the interior of BC, to Kamloops, a smaller city with a semi-desert climate. I love the wide open spaces, dry weather and slower pace.

grew up in New york ( long island ) , lived in seattle for many years and now live in kansas city suburbs - wish i was back in seattle

I was born and grew up in The Hague.Except for 2 years I stayed in in Rotterdanm because a studied there and went back to The hague
The goverment of the Netherlands seats in The Hague.

Technically from Czech Republic but been living abroad - all over the globe, really - most of my life. Currenlty residing in Jakarta, Indonesia, due to hubby's work.

I spent 8 years in Kansas City suburbs and I would love to be back there. Except in the winter.

I am a native Texan but spent most of my growing up years in a small town in Southeast NM. (In fact, my town and the town where @BrightEyes was born were in the same sports district.) I also lived in Utah and California as well as more time in Texas as an adult. I've been living in South Florida for over 20 years but I am thinking it might be time to go somewhere new. (With David, no worries y'all.)

where did you live - the summers are way toooooo hot and winters too cold , and the area is not very dog friendly even though they think they are. I am in overland park. when i moved here i thought wow midwest will see some great fall colors - not at all. had much better fall colors in seattle and that was not the best.

We lived in Overland Park for 4 years (right off of College Blvd) and then I was traveling so much for work that we moved north of the river into Missouri near the airport. It does get very hot and very cold and I did just mention to Brian (dh) this weekend that Florida is the most dog friendly place I have ever been.
