We lived in Overland Park for 4 years (right off of College Blvd) and then I was traveling so much for work that we moved north of the river into Missouri near the airport. It does get very hot and very cold and I did just mention to Brian (dh) this weekend that Florida is the most dog friendly place I have ever been.

dont know about florida but seattle is so dog friendly .

I was born in Warwickshire, England but came to Canada in my early teens. I lived in Alberta, Ontario and finally to the Okanagan, BC where we’ve been for almost 30 years. It was pretty quiet and laidback when we first came here but now it’s crazy busy in the summer (tourist town) so we have been thinking about moving again.
