When will Spring finally arrive?

It is still so cold here in the Netherlands. And way too much rain and wind. I so long for those warm temperatures, for being comfortable outside without wearing my wintercoat or clothes for the rain.
And even in the garden almost nothing really grows. Hardly any blossoms, the trees aren't green and the vegetables grow so slowly.
We're not used to a cold Spring anymore, and I don't like it one bit.
I want the sun, warm temperatures, flowers blooming and all the fresh greens that are so part of Spring.

How the weather at your part of the world?

It was really warm a few days ago and go up into the lower 80s F. Today it is cold and about 30 degrees colder. Last night we had a frost warning. Spring is playing hide and seek with us for sure here in Tennessee!

Yesterday I was sitting out on the porch enjoying the sun. It was so warm, I could take off my sweater & just sit there in my t-shirt.

Today it's been snowing.....

We had a really wonderful first half of April. The past week had been chilly and this upcoming week will be as well. I don't think it would feel as cold as it does if we hadn't had a few days of 80* weather. April is usually pretty chilly in NJ but everything is turning green (and making me sneeze) so that shows me that spring is here.

Yes it is. And I don't like hide and seek so much any more ;)

That's not good either. I love the changing of the seasons, and Spring when everything start to live again is my favorite season!

O no, I never experenced a tornado. I can't imagine, I'm already scared when we have a Dutch storm with winds like wind speeds like 4 or 5 mph.

I'm so sorry for you, my son also as hay fever, and I know it can be terribly annoying. I hope it wont bother you too much!!

Off and on weather... mostly off with torrents of rain. Today is sunny but still chilly. The bulbs are up but none of my Shasta Daisy seeds have germinated yet.

Spring is slow to come here in Michigan as well! We had a taste of some unseasonably warm weather a week or so ago but it has been cold again. We had some snow flurries today.:brrr:

had both 80's and freezing weather within a couple of days. think spring will jsut pass by and before i know it , it will be way too hot.
