What's your fave Christmas Carol singer, muscian....

soooo everything mentioned i absolutely LOVE!!! (well, i can sit through Josh Groban, soorry...not buying it! :) )

so get this, mr gorgeous and i sat there last friday watching the Celtic Women on the public broadcasting channel...it was fabulous...the concert they did in Scotland. they are such amazing musicians. (their costume designer leaves something to be desired, but again, that's just opinionated me!!)

So the Celtic Women, A christmas Celebration is the one CD I've been listening to since Oct!! LOL!! That and my Windham Hill The Carols of Christmas!! sooo awesome!! My friend Megan makes fun of me, though, cause it's not "cool" like the Sleigh Full of Songs I got from Starbucks a while back!! That one is really fantastic, too!! LOL!!! OHhh and I picked up the soundtrack to Elf for Cora yesterday and omgosh, if it isn't the best!!! I adore that one, too!!

and my ALL time fave of all time is the Williams Brothers Christmas Album. It's not really available right now, that i know of. But it was a record my fam got out every year and played it over and over and over and over...so much that the RECORD had skips in it!! We used to be able to sing every skip!! LOL!!! One of those homey comfort things!!!

okay...i have to add this...

i just went to Itunes looking for Andy Williams and his brothers...that particular album and of course it's not on there.

But while I was on there, my handsome son reminded me to get these two songs!! And they are the funniest ever!!!

Bob Rivers - The 12 Pains of Christmas (hangovers, hanging up the lights...)
and
Bob and Doug McKenzie - the Twelve Days of Christmas (sooooooo funny!!) - the sample just has them talking, but they sing the funniest canadian things! i love it!! (2 turtlenecks and a beer) LOVE it!!!

And yes- Bing/Bowie... I remember that video from when MTV played videos... chills!!

Ha ha ha that makes me laugh. I also have Bob Rivers in my play list. And Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer too!
