With so many awesome layouts in the gallery and so many beautiful photos, I was wondering... What kind of camera does everyone use?? I love my Canon Rebel XTI and don't know what I would do without it. My son has a Nikon and it also takes amazing photos. So tell me what do you all use to take your fabulous photos with??

I have a Samsung WB700 and an Olympus E 510 but have to figure out all those knobs and how it works besides on automatic.

But since the smartphones have such amazing cameras in it and this great apps I often use the smartphone

I recently changed cameras from my Nikon D50 to a Sony NEX-7. I loved and still do love my Nikon but I find it to be such a big and rather heavy camera. As I have gotten older it just was not all that easy to carry everywhere. Well the NEX-7 is mirrorless which makes it very light but has the advantage of changing lens like a standard SLR. I cannot say enough about how much I love this new camera!

Wow so many different cameras and all with wonderful results!! That Sony NEX-7 sounds very interesting I will have to check that one out!!

I am a Nikon girl as well, I currently have a Nikon D70 but am saving my pennies up to buy the D7000 :biggrin:

We have a Canon Rebel XTi which is really good -- but, the camera I really use is a little Canon SX110. It is now over 4 years old and I keep fearing it will give up the ghost one day like my previous little Canon. I like its portability and as a genealogist photographing documents, love that the flash has to be manually raised to work (and I don't have to remember how to change settings to turn it off.)

I was wondering that so less have a Canon.
Isn´t Canon popular in America ?

here in Germany so much have an Canon, than Nikon.

Mine is Canon 550D and I love it, feel so right in my small tiny hands :)
I just want to buy another lens though ... the one I have no longer suitable for portrait ... oh yes I love taking picture of faces!

My "big" camera is a Rebel xti. It's old in technology terms 10.1mp's.
My little camera is a Casio exlim which is perfect for sticking in my pocket. Its also old but as long as they get the job done.
My cell phone supposedly has a good camera but I still haven't figured it all out. It has been a year.

Confession:( : I have a Canon EOS 35mm camera too. There was a roll of 36 exposures in there from probably 15 years ago, only half used. Last year, I took the film out and threw it away. I didn't have the money to get it developed, especially since I couldn't even remember what the heck would have been on it. How bad is that? Have any of you done that too?

Chris - too funny about the film in your camera!! Yes that has also happened to me!! Really no idea what the heck was on the film and couldn't have been bothered to fork out the dough to get it developed! Now I wonder if perhaps it was the wrong thing to do? Could have had some precious memory in there. Oh well to late to worry about now :becky:

Anika - I love my canon and yes there do seem to be more Nikon lovers out there, but its just a personal preference I guess, I think that Nikon makes more lenses for their cameras too that are a bit more affordable.
