What's in your garden ?

As many may already know I have made my garden bird friendly, bee and butterfly friendly in recent years.
And this morning there was suddenly a squirrel in the garden at the bird feeder eating walnuts!
My husband saw him and called me, unfortunately I couldn't take a picture but I was very happy.
Who comes to visit your garden?

Yes, we have a big garden an I love my walk in the morning to see and hear all the different birds. We have young squirrels at the moment and they're chasing each other up and down the trees all day

My garden is super small. We have a woodpecker that likes to peck at the chimney, a squirrel that comes to the patio door to say 'Hi", a hummingbird that I haven't seen in a while so I hope it is nesting and not gone. We also have the neighbours cat. Lots of chickadees. house finches and robins bobbing around are nearby in the trees. Then of course there are crows and starlings.

I think there is a lot to see in your small garden! I hope you can see the hummingbird again soon in your garden with many little ones!

Unfortunately, I no longer have a garden of my own. I now live in a third-story apartment. But, I enjoy my son's garden which is just across town. He has several bird feeders and a squirrel feeder. I especially love it in the summer as he has lots of birds, squirrels, and rabbits visiting. He has huge trees and I love sitting underneath in the early mornings listening to the birds singing. Heavenly! ♥

Squirrels are everywhere around here, so much so that a lot of birders spend a lot of time and effort to keep the squirrels from eating all the bird seed. Having said that, at my new condo here there is a cute little red squirrel that gets onto my balcony every now and then. I had never seen a red one before, but my friend says she's seen them before. I hope to get a photo one day.

Vera, unfortunately, I don't have a lens long enough to capture much of the wildlife. I can't get very close with my present equipment, but I do a lot of flowers there. I stuck a few of the photos together from last spring for you to see, as I haven't scrapped them yet. There is one layout of a cardinal I did last fall. This spring has been rainy, cold, and extremely windy. I went over this past weekend but all the blooms had blown from their spring trees.

Not much in my gardens yet. It's been too cold to really clean them up yet. I uncovered some daffodils and they have some bulbs that haven't bloomed yet. A couple of snow crocuses and hyacinth have popped up too. The weather has been so uncooperative so far. :(

Our garden backs onto a vineyard so we get quite a lot of wildlife around. Deer and marmots wander through and love to munch on my plants, while the raccoons and herons like to fish in the pond. We get chickadees, juncos, nuthatches, robins, waxwings, flickers, finches, ducks and hummingbirds in the summer.
The ducks like to come for a swim in the spring

We had nuthatches nesting for a few years

and here's momma deer with her twins down in the vineyard.

OMG! That is sooooooooo cute!!!!!

We had a giant toad that lived on my patio last year and made him a little house from an old clay pot. I don't think he ever went into it but he *loved* living in my garden tool-bag.

Lots of birds and mice and butterflies. Probably too many spiders - don't want to look into that. Squirrels and even seen hedgehogs from time to time.

Last summer I had the cutest little mag pie baby learning to fly:

But my coolest guest ever:

We do get moose and deer from time to time, but usually, I just see the foot prints in the snow. But I've managed to take some photos.
